I need to apologize !! I made a comment below that I had problems with the App and that I had emailed the company and had not received a response. I also stated that I did not see a number to call for customer assistance. I was mistaken and had overlooked the customer support phone number. I called the number and spoke with John and my issues were immediately resolved. Very knowledgeable and professional customer service. I have seen several comments about the cost and if you really look at the other options out there it is a very reasonable. Please give us remote sensors and you will have the prefect tool !
Your app looks very interesting in finding vibrations and determining which groups of components the frequencies are belonging to. I looked throughout your videos and it appears that you have a lot of videos on the usage of the app. I would be interested in seeing some videos of showing the diagnostic parts of the app to where you actually get to the root cause of the issue. With this type of attachment you also measure windshield aand attachments resonance vibration.

I see how this could work, I guess by taking samples of the vibration at different speeds and ruling out certain bits of info, etc. you didn't really get into how you process the data. but, your measuring device (phone) is being dampened by the flexible arm on the mount. I feel it should be mounted on something specific to help diagnose a vibration appropriately, like a steering wheel, on the engine block, on the frame, or at least fixed to the dash? You need more specific test parameters to filter out / rule out noise. I'm no NVH engineer, but I feel like this isn't a very diagnostic approach. I would really appreciate an actual NVH engineer to chime in here and educate me if I'm wrong.
You guys need one or more magnetic or attachable adapters that connects via Bluetooth to the phone the can be placed on specific areas of the vehicle instead of mounting the phone to a phone holder on the windshield

I'm a bit confused, where is the cable on the iPhone going? Is it just connected to the 12v charger meaning that this app is gathering the diagnostics information via phone vibrations and knowing what car it's in? Or does the phone need to be connected to the car via the ODB2 socket?

How do I go about getting customer support for the App? I emailed the developers through the link provided on your website. I haven't heard a peep from anyone. This is was the only reason I was reluctant to make this purchase. There is no customer support to call to actually speak with anyone. Now that I have paid for the App and have found that it is not working properly I need someone to help me get this resolved.

OK This looks interesting, VERY interesting, but as others have said, would like to see it diagnosing other vibration sources, eg prop shaft, engine, body resonance and maybe body mountings on vehicles with separate chassis etc. THE PRICE THOUGH!! Using that attachment on the windscreen would exaggerate vibration.....
Paul David Cross the frequency of the vibration determines which part is vibrating. The amplitude of the vibration determines the severity of the vibration. The attachment only affects the amplitude level and has no impact upon determining the cause of the vibration. Personally I just set my phone on the dashboard or the floor and it works just as well. The attachment keeps the phone from sliding around as you drive. Thanks for your feedback.

But that attachment may contribute its own resonant frequencies. Are they accounted for in the software?
Poor setup, you get other eigenmodes from phone mass and the window attchment. Use double sided tape, and tape phone directly onto the window.

I'll pass on this app, looks like a good app but at $400 for this app it would be cheaper to take your car to the shop.
It may be cheaper to take it to the shop depending upon the shop. Trying to find a shop that knows how to actually diagnose vibrations without guessing is tougher than you might think. Recommend to your shop that they get the NVH app for accurate diagnostics. Thank you for your feedback!
There has to be some test/trail mode to see if this app really works. Not many people are willing to gamble on a app that claim it does something amazing for 474,32 dollar in Sweden without really proving it. You need to show one car that has problem with drive shaft and one wheel and then without cutting the video go in another car and take it for a ride and show it does not detect anything without cutting the video or taking down the phone or something suspicious.

Holy crap first $599 then $399 and you still haven't gotten the message at a $99 price point. This is a great idea, but it relies on an iffy phone sensor at best. Asking $99 is just absurd. It's not a professional tool, don't charge professional prices.
