There are far too many innocent people in prison, However, Adnan Syed was not one of them. Prosecutors build careers on false convictions, and now this prosecutor is building a career by letting a guilty man go free. She is using the popularity of the 100 million listeners to Sarah Koenig's shameful exploitation of the murder of Hae Min Lee, when Koenig kept listeners tuned in by keeping them wondering whether he was guilty. Syed showed Lee's body to Jay Wilds in the trunk. He lent his car to Jay in order to lure Lee with the lie that his was in the shop. He also lent his cell phone so he could call Jay after he killed Hae Lee. He hung out with Jay, Jennifer Pusateri and others acting like a real life zombie OR someone who just committed murder. He practically admitted it when the police called looking for Hae. Jay Wild also told Jennifer Pusateria that Adnan strangled Hae Min Lee, a fact not released by the authorities. Jennifer picked up Jay at Westview Mall after Adnan buried Lee and disposed of shovels there. Despite Jay's defensive, but understandable inconsistencies, why would he lie and implicate himself? This case is obvious, which is why Adnan was convicted.

If he saw the body and didn’t report I thought the police would at least charge him with obstruction or something but when they didn’t i knew something was wrong and he was providing all the “right” info for a conviction. I said no way
If you listen to the podcast Undisclosed, it explains with real audio and transcripts of Jay's confessions, how the police coached him into being an eye witness for something he never actually witnessed. The fact that Jay admitted to seeing the body, knowing about the murder, and then burying a body but never coming forward in six weeks - all heinous and illegal behavior - and then never spending a minute in jail while still being this big time drug dealer, should tell you everything you need to know. Like Rabia, i dont think Jay actually knew anything - he was just coerced by dirty cops into framing his former friend to save his own ass.
I agree with Sarah Koenig: "As a juror, I vote to acquit Adnan Syed,” she finally concluded. “I have to acquit. Even if, in my heart of hearts, I think Adnan killed Hae, I still have to acquit." The physical evidence and procedures were flawed enough to force the acquittal, but the circumstantial evidence is still beyond reasonable doubt. Adnan is not innocent - he is only free on technicalities of procedures and flawed evidence used by the prosecution. Justice has not been served to anyone - should be a retrial, but that'd be a waste of resources and Adnan has served a longer sentence than he would in many countries.

I hope that the truth comes out and if he wasn't involved, he goes free. On another, lighter note, did anyone else notice that Ms. Chaudry had Howard Hamlin's (from Better Call Saul) car license plate on her bookshelf in the background? Love it!
I would be looking at only the DNA evidence that was ordered to be tested. The only thing that's new since then is we have a larger database. That witness testimony has already been thrown out I probably would have done the same in that lawyers shoes. It happened in a public place so that brings it down to someone she would have trusted or knew. (If not she would have been heard screaming and fighting there would have been a ton of witnesses) Not a random killer. In the majority of homicides it's the people that are closest to you.
There needs to be a thorough investigation into the actions of the police and the prosecution in this case. Adnan, most of us believe you were wrongly convicted based on the evidence and I use the term loosely. I hope you get to go home today and be in the company of your loved ones.
Being sweet and having no criminal record doesn’t mean that person isn’t going to commit a heinous crime. That being said, I do believe he should get a new trial as a final say in if he committed murder or not.
The prosecutor(s) who convicted this innocent man must be shamed in the social media. At least give him or her a sense of guilt and shame to live with for the rest of their lives. 😞
I seen the Documentary on HBO and on a few other platforms I've seen it. I always said that it just seemed a little fishy like it wasn't him, maybe they should go back from the beginning start testing DNA things again and start all over from the case from the start.
This prosecutor is exactly what society needs, what a credit to her team. Justice is exactly what it should be about and it seems many prosecutor's are more concerned about their number of convictions.

You read these comments and think what world do we live in. He could be innocent and he could be guilty. The bottom line is that getting a fair trial is the key. They might retry him and they might find a diffrent killer. If he is guilty and didn't get a fair trial, he should be released and retried. If he is guilty and there is not enough evidence, then he should be let go. People think he is being released because he is innocent. That is far from the truth. Marilyn Mosby is doing what prosecutors should of been doing a Long time ago.
I heard the podcast and saw the documentary. 100% guilty, but the evidence to legally prove it was shaky. He even slipped up at one point during the podcast and nervously giggled to cover it up - Keonig didn't seem to notice it, but I did. The circumstantial evidence was strong enough to make the chances of a random killer doing it 'beyond reasonable doubt'.
For me just the fact that the cellphone provider fax cover letter clearly stated that the data they provided for the case could not be used to pinpoint location is enough ground for a retrial. This info was left out of trail and not provided to the defense.

@@kr50401 nope. He's in jail where he ought to be. You're being manipulated into believing otherwise. Jay mastermind the whole thing. Coincidence after coincidence after coincidence. Plus counting on Adnan wouldn't remember the place where he was during the time of Ms Lee's murder? He never tried to call her? What was Jay's motive? If Adnan is innocent Jay is lying and police are stupid? Was Jay blackmailing Adnan? No. Was it money? No. Was it jealousy? No. Jay didn't have a motive. You know why? Because Jay isn't lying. Adnan murdered Hae with his bare hands. Sorry.
@@QueenofDenial10775 The Joey Watkins case is so upsetting. Guy shooting at cars at the same time nearby, but we think it's the high school kid who killed his ex's other ex for no reason.
After I first watched a series covering this case, I never felt Adnan had received a fair shake. I feel he is innocent.
Omg I agree I believe that same feeling u got we all did that truly looked at this case
. I felt left down and I am not fighting g for my freedom .
This kid was taken so much from him
I hope he is released promptly. There is no concrete evidence and too much doubt!! Prayers for Adnan ❤❤❤❤
He fucking did it
Hes innocent dude
He showed his friend her dead body in his backseat, you defend him over race you will burn with him 🔥🔥
It’s most often the man closest (bf husband etc) that murders a woman
If Adnan is innocent then who murdered the girl..and why?
@@RK-su4hs Go educate yourself, the information on this case is widely available and you clearly haven’t looked into it (ie, she had a new boyfriend)
I can't believe they believed the dead body story ..who the hell sees a dead body and doesn't immediately call the police that's unlikely and he needed a thoughro line of questioning
No it is actually common, and has happened thousands of times. People have not only seen bodies and not told, they have helped hide the body.
Right
They believe the killer and they should overlooked again and see this.
If he saw the body and didn’t report I thought the police would at least charge him with obstruction or something but when they didn’t i knew something was wrong and he was providing all the “right” info for a conviction. I said no way
This is truly a honorable woman....
This is a very confused woman. Adnan did it. Liberals. Soft on criminals. Are there any other kind?
You TRULY didn't hear all the facts.
Maybe. Maybe not. Time will tell
It always does
@@RK-su4hs ironically, Adnan is being let out today!! Wow
The one killed by Adnan?
Unbelievable; how could an eyewitness who was with him at the time of the murder & omitted from the trial, not warrant a new trial?
If you listen to the podcast Undisclosed, it explains with real audio and transcripts of Jay's confessions, how the police coached him into being an eye witness for something he never actually witnessed. The fact that Jay admitted to seeing the body, knowing about the murder, and then burying a body but never coming forward in six weeks - all heinous and illegal behavior - and then never spending a minute in jail while still being this big time drug dealer, should tell you everything you need to know. Like Rabia, i dont think Jay actually knew anything - he was just coerced by dirty cops into framing his former friend to save his own ass.
The defense attorney also was disbarred.
Omg!!!!!!!!
This is amazing this whole case was crazyyyyyyyyy!
Thank God they are finally giving this a second look!
I agree with Sarah Koenig:
"As a juror, I vote to acquit Adnan Syed,” she finally concluded. “I have to acquit. Even if, in my heart of hearts, I think Adnan killed Hae, I still have to acquit."
The physical evidence and procedures were flawed enough to force the acquittal, but the circumstantial evidence is still beyond reasonable doubt. Adnan is not innocent - he is only free on technicalities of procedures and flawed evidence used by the prosecution.
Justice has not been served to anyone - should be a retrial, but that'd be a waste of resources and Adnan has served a longer sentence than he would in many countries.
We need more prosecutors like this.
Yayy-!!! I am so happy to hear this-! I listened to Serial years ago and it is so obvious that this whole trial was messed up and there was so much evidence that he did not do it and they still convicted him. This is such great news-! I am go glad that he had family and friends that never gave up on him and I hope he is set free-!
Serial got me interested Podcast. Would love for an official investigation with ALL this new evidence

On another, lighter note, did anyone else notice that Ms. Chaudry had Howard Hamlin's (from Better Call Saul) car license plate on her bookshelf in the background? Love it!
His previous lawyer was disbarred due to Adnans case wasnt enuff for another trial?
I never thought there was enough or reliable evidence against him.
Apparently, you were right because he got released three days ago.
Wow. What an amazing prosecutor. She, her family, and community should be so proud of her.
I respect the hell out of that Prosecutor. We need more of her in this country. She is a perfect example of how Prosecutors should behave.

There needs to be a thorough investigation into the actions of the police and the prosecution in this case. Adnan, most of us believe you were wrongly convicted based on the evidence and I use the term loosely. I hope you get to go home today and be in the company of your loved ones.
I have been hoping and praying for his release. Soooo happy for him and his family
If you listened to the entire podcast you would know hw was ABSOLUTELY framed!!!!!! His attorney was incompetent at best.

They saw a man heard the allegations and automatically went after him. Without any proof of anything.

I'll judicial system is scary you can be locked up for nothing ☹️☹️
Being sweet and having no criminal record doesn’t mean that person isn’t going to commit a heinous crime. That being said, I do believe he should get a new trial as a final say in if he committed murder or not.

Anyone saying not guilty is copung. Go look into the case. He is absolutely guilty alongside his comunity who were busted being false alabis.

They withheld evidence? And it took this long to disclose? Where is justice?
You read these comments and think what world do we live in. He could be innocent and he could be guilty. The bottom line is that getting a fair trial is the key. They might retry him and they might find a diffrent killer. If he is guilty and didn't get a fair trial, he should be released and retried. If he is guilty and there is not enough evidence, then he should be let go. People think he is being released because he is innocent. That is far from the truth. Find someone to love you as much as Adnan's delusional supporters love him
I heard the podcast and saw the documentary.
Allah tested him and rewarded him for his patience.
There should be an investigation on the conduct of the procecutors from that time, why would certain evidence not be shared?
Adnan's conviction reeked of Islamophobia. Glad he has been released.
He is the killer for sure, how come?????
For me just the fact that the cellphone provider fax cover letter clearly stated that the data they provided for the case could not be used to pinpoint location is enough ground for a retrial. This info was left out of trail and not provided to the defense.
Adnan came out stronger spritually than 23 years ago.
I hope they find the true murderer of Hae and clear Adnan’s name for good to bring better peace for Lee’s family.

And you guys have the ability to dive in and get more involved and be obsessed unlike men we can't do that we got too much to do and too much to focus on although I love the True Crime world as I always did before podcasts and documentaries... you guys have the ability to take over things in a massive way that guys can't. Before I could talk to my guy friends about the True Crime stuff without them mocking me that it's a girly thing ...but now that's over. Like a true crime podcast will be more popular with a woman narrating it than a guy. It's almost as if since you guys are always the victims and these True Crimes now you guys got to take over. And as for concerts that's 100% true go to a concert you will not hear any guys the women will drown out the men's voices or sing alongs or screaming and then you guys do that weird hand wave thing when it's a slow song that actually piss off the artist
