Nick's Big Blue View review of Nolan Smith was really good. Reminds me of Elvis Dumervil (high side) although built a little differently (Dumervil was shorter (5'11) and heavier (260)). Not sure we'd drop a first or second round pick on pass rusher depth given the amount of needs we have.
Honestly, I think if you ask for the moon and it immediately costs saquon, fans will turn on you the second you don't take another jump. 43+ mill is not team friendly and if he "regresses back to the norm" (stats/analytics term) which usually happens after a contract year it will be bad. What happens if they go cb with their 1st draft pick? Wan'dale is coming off an acl so I don't expect much this year. The schedule has to be harder. What happens when the opposing defenses' plan isn't shutdown saquon? Daniel will not be they only one with out answers.
