Congrats to the Tennessee Titans and the Cleveland Browns, both will no longer have QB ISSUES, or maybe the Patriots after we give them our entire draft class to move up.
So happy they won. Hope they win next week also and don't draft one of these horrible Qbs. It is the best thing that could happen because you know they would.
Tanking isn't a real thing, players and coaches do not go out there trying to lose. Their career longevity is literally based upon on-field performance.
They all were smirking and laughing wondering how many pick sixes Drew Lock was going to throw. The ones who didn’t know jack at the first of the season still don’t know jack now.
Well, we no longer have any edge in the draft. If Schoen is drafting, leverage likely doesn’t matter anyway. He hasn’t drafted a single useful lineman, and no one is a star .

I don't want him to get off the hook by firing anyone and I would like Schoen and Dabbol to remain a package, both stay or both go that way a year from now can be a complete fresh start and it won't be a speculative, compensatory move, but rather an admission of failure, complete and total failure. On the other hand, isn't there some chance of success? I think Dan you have become way too negative and it's not appealing.
Giants fan since 79, and I'm done with this franchise. This week, i ordered a Barkley jersey and will root for the eagles to push the giant's shit in. Amd i will walk away for good. Let the panty boy fans have this team. I'll wait until we have real men running this team.
So lets talk about the ridiculous art of tanking. First of all, a lot players on the team are seeking jobs for next year, wether its the Giants or other teams. Second of all these are paid professionals and as such should have individual pride in their profession. And finally, tanking is against NFL policy and if a player or team is caught, severe ramifications can be administered. As a fan, i was rooting for the Giants and always will. I saw a really dark comment during stream about how sad it was to see fans wanting to see the Giants win. Well they paid good money to root how they choose and for ANYONE to criticize them is so incrediably wrong and quiet frankly evil. Finally, there are no franchise QB's in this draft. I belive if they wete in last years draft they would not be in the top 8 QB's drafted. By the way if the draft were held today, New England would be #1 and they would not be drafting a QB. In this case the Giants still would have a decent chance in picking Ward or Sanders. I prefer a bridge QB for this year at least. Finally if the NFL would implement a lottery system of some kind, this would REDUCE, the talk of tanking which is so out of bounds. Everyone stop crying, i enjoyed the win and feel it will not hamper the Giants much. I understand that picking lower effects the sum totall of higher draft selections in each round. However, if done correctly like the 2024 draft, the Giants can still be productive.
For next year's draft, I'd rather Joe Schoen do what he should have done year #2 - bolster the O-Line and D-Line. Add vets to the secondary and O-Line.
@@33moneyballThe Brady thing is a reach but Russell Wilson, Dak, Hurts, Cousins, Purdy, Derek Carr had good careers just to name a few off the top of my head

The Giants never “secured” the #1 pick. There were MANY games left to be played. Believe it or not, almost all players have pride and want to win. They play hard, especially guys who are fighting for their own career survival. The Giants just happened to run into a crappy team and at the same time, played well themselves. A rare win this year. And you are happy about this win?? Why the eff should the giants consider a week 17 matchup against a terrible team to be their superbowl? They just totally screwed their 2025 draft.
I was really looking forward to you guys breaking down Cam Ward and Sanders tape. Now, I'm not even interested in that. Damn, this team just ruins everything.
There is I guess still hope that one of them falls to 4 but if we are unable to get one of them, I don’t see any way I will really be invested into the team next year. Of course, if we beat Philly then we just totally fuck ourselves
Let’s not act like they fell to the 23rd pick, and that it’s not possible to still get back to 1 or 2. NE, Tennessee, Cleveland are all playing teams that will likely rest starters. And Barkley will be going for the record after Pickett hung 40 on Dallas.
I just left the game with my 9 year old son and Wow…we had a day! Came here to lose and just watch football but I forgot what it felt like to be happy and watch a respectable team. I didn’t think about the draft at all and just lived in the moment selfishly! It was awesome for those in attendance! Now back to reality…. 😂
Honestly, anecdotes like this can bring some perspective to fans like myself. I can take a step back and say -- you know what that must've been a memorable day for you and your son and that has value. It is undeniable. Happy you guys go to enjoy that together.
@@danschneier513It was awesome! Was I scoreboard watching the Jaguars and Raiders too, of course but it was hard not to get excited when the offense FINALLY looked good! I was at Week 1 too with my son and it was the most pitiful display I’ve seen in person in my life…so this was indeed a breath of fresh air! Don’t get me wrong,I understand where you guys are coming from (and the future does worry me too) but for those 3 hours I didn’t think about it
PS Are we surprised? It’s typical Giants luck…
Lets.go Giants..... Guess what? Dabol doesn't want to lose his.
Luckily the Giants are still dead last 👍
If we all can get off the Tracy bandwagon and agree that Johnson’s rookie year is the sane as Bellingers you can start taking shots even at Scheons third draft. I think, after 16 games is just ok for Nubian. And I agree with Dan that anyone could have drafted Nabers. Schoen may be as bad as Gettleman. Hard to believe.
You can make a case that he could have trade back with the Jets & still walk away with Bowers & gotten another pick. Bowers & Nabers are equal money for now.
If this means not taking Ward or Sanders then it was worth it
No worries. Did you watch Sanders against BYU? Hopefully your Sanders dream will be come true.
Tell that to the fans at the game going crazy for the giants. Is hard to want to lose! 3rd spot can we still get a good qb?
4th
couldn't get a good qb with the first spot
I think a large majority of the fan base wanted the team to lose. And I thought I heard the fans were booing as they left the field at halftime
Congrats to the Tennessee Titans and the Cleveland Browns, both will no longer have QB ISSUES, or maybe the Patriots after we give them our entire draft class to move up.
The QB hit rate is lower than 50% - surely they'll be looking for QBs soon enough.
Its a win because now they HAVE to sign Darnold rather than FAFO with rookie
@@mattinnj979 not a chance they break the bank for Sam. He is thriving in an offense with a surplus of weapons - Giants don’t have that.
Why the fuck would you want to win meaningless games
Well, we no longer have any edge in the draft. If Schoen is drafting, leverage likely doesn’t matter anyway. He hasn’t drafted a single useful lineman, and no one is a star .
Nabers.
There will be stars in this class but as you noted, Schoen would have to luck into one because he hasn't shown an ability to evaluate talent.
What did you want Daboll to do?
Show he can coach but lose the game in the second half
Im so fucking done with this team. Its been like 10 YEARS OF BAD QB PLAY IM DONE
Even with Jones gone Dan still whining about him. Move the 🤬 on
8 minutes in and Dan is already melting down
Best part. I thought it was just a Janiel Domes thing.
Oh I remember when Devito was celebrated when he won three games at the end of the season. You wanted Devito to start over Lock. REMEMBER!!!
I lived through the 1970s and 1980s. Remember 2-12, 2-13??
3 -12 -1....1983...difference is no QB on roster...except cutlets
I guess this is my generation’s version of this. It fucking sucks. Doesn’t seem like there’s any end in sight either
Shoen and Daboll might not be making the pick to begin with; that’s why they don’t care about the winning or losing 🤦🏻♂️
please, someone name me the team that had the #1 draft pick and then, within 5 years, went on to great success.
theres the bengals, maybe.
what else you got?
Guys, did you see the 2025 schedule. WTF. Show me the win at home next year? DON'T, REPEAT DON'T trade the 2026 1st round pick, it could be the number 1 pick.
2025
Home: Dallas, Philadelphia, Washington, Green Bay, Kansas City, L.A. Chargers, Minnesota, NFCW TBD
Away: Dallas, Philadelphia, Washington, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Las Vegas, AFCE TBD, NFCS TBD
Professional football players don't tank. That's why they're called professionals. Get it?
The players are always going to try. Unless they are paid to fail ( by the gambling interests). So the guys on the field can’t be asked to give up the game. This is typical Giants. Screw up everything whether you want want to or not .
Thanks for the useless contribution….we all know that. We can mourn the loss of the top pick. I dont give a shit what this loser organization does or doesn’t do….they deserve nothing but our contempt. Personally I don’t like these QBs so I’m not all that upset like I was last year.
Tank talking is ridiculous. Performance is worth millions. There is no tanking.
Ed O'Neil
Daniel Jones had 4 straight games where he was literally top 10 statistically!!! This was not the 1st game a QB played well this season!!!!
"Top 10" until you look at his 3 yard ADOT and realize he was dumping short passes to Wandale and Nabers and letting them get YAC. We don't need your revisionist history here.
@@navaronehartman8880
of course.....a lot of dump off passes vs Washington, Browns, and Seattle....
nice try though not to mention being ranked top 10 in EPA but ok I get it.
We're not supposed to bring anything up that might paint that QB in a positive light.
He's just as bad as Sam Darnold....oh wait
He was terrible as well until he wasn't. It must be magic.
@@JamaalLawson-p3s
Making objective statements about that qb will not be tolerated here buddy!!!!
Saying how great Lock played with all of the yards after catch and terrible under throws is allowed.
The main thing this should reveal to people is how bad of a HC Daboll is.
For some reason everyone is happy for him because he played the worst tackling and basic defense in the NFL?
He basically said he needs his qb to play that way to have a chance at winning a game?
You see teams like the Steelers when they literally had the worst qb room find ways to win!!! You here Tomlin make statements like "we're not a qb centric Team" and we have a HC making excuses why he lost 10 games straight?
Or what about the Lions who literally lost half of their starters and all they do is continue to play and look the same way!!
Campbell doesn't give excuses and like what was displayed in back to back scrimmages they were the more physical, prepared, and better coached Team!!!!
Maybe just stay positive and not tied to narratives or preferences.
Mara is the culprit of the New York football Giants. The rest have all been bit players. He loves to fire and kick garbage cans and show his Super Bowl ring which he didn't earn to opposing fans.
Dan, you sound like you are glad we don't have the #1 pick bc you did not want either of those QB. Am I wrong?
You are wrong. I thought I explained at length in the episode why I wanted the 1.1. Also, IDK if I wanted a QB. Won't know until we rind some tape.
Loserdom forever!
Giants fan since 79, and I'm done with this franchise.
This week, i ordered a Barkley jersey and will root for the eagles to push the giant's shit in.
Amd i will walk away for good. Let the panty boy fans have this team.
I'll wait until we have real men running this team.
When did you get out of prison.

@@DennisNieves-j7r Copy that.
Joe Schoen need to be out of the league, absolutely delusional 😭😭
They’ve been doing that for many years…how’s it working?
There's a monster dl in top 5 love to see him next to dex.
@@33moneyballexactly man
Yeah, and then win 6 or 7 games and still not be able to get a qb. You have to grab a qb when you can and try to build around him.
Any elite traits QB will get picked high now…can’t look at past drafts.
DAN RANT! DAN RANT! DAN RANT!
You have to get rid of Daboll and Schoen
A franchise destroying win. Just awful. Devastating really.
Done with this franchise
Ok Dan. Just forfeit the games.
Won the game, but lost so so much more.
The nightmare continues
Syracuse O-Men Kyle McCord is a stud. In what round was Tom Brady drafted?
Now list all of the other QBs taken outside of the first round. Literally everyone ever. Brady is an extreme outlier.
McCord isn’t an nfl prospect
@@33moneyballThe Brady thing is a reach but Russell Wilson, Dak, Hurts, Cousins, Purdy, Derek Carr had good careers just to name a few off the top of my head
This Fool is comparing McCord to Brady.
Maybe, have to check him out, he looked good against Miami
worthless to trade up and give everything away to do it dan ,, there are qb's available later on ,
Should be said that Dan is looking very healthy lately. Must have kept the diet through the holidays.
"Should" is strong. Just felt like complimenting you, because who could give a fuck about this team?
My man! Thank you brother.
I hate this team so much I’m not watching a god damn game next year idc anymore this team has finally lost me gonna be the same shit be the year
You guys sound like the fans who were bitching when the Giants won 'meaningless' games late in the 2020 season. They missed out on the generational talent in Chase Young and the consolation prize was Andrew Thomas.
Will johnson or will campbell yall? This team isnt even ready for a qb on this mid ass roster
Typical Giants fans, always complaining…
Great take we should be not complaining and happy!
terrible take in response to a great take. To overly complain about Giants beating the colts = lazy and predictable. Complain about the overall outlook of the team, for sure, but this game? Complaining about Draft stock? It’s boring at this point.
Mara didn't want to fire schurmur, Tisch push for it.Arch Manning, baby, agree Dan, do not trade up.i don't think you win trying to lose. I'm ok with it.i know a lot of blind chimps that were tooting evan neals horn, just anout everyone except for me. Chiefs wanted wandell and ended up with a dud.Cant stop Drew Lock you can only hope to contain him, Lol Barkley said he doesn't care.
You know he can’t go to the nfl for another TWO years right even then he wont be the #1 qb in his class it will be DJ lagway
Your talking like Arch is guaranteed to fall into the giants laps.
@@hueyhoopin pretty sure he's eligible next year, if not get a sam darnold
@@TrollKing2781 being sarcastic actually
Can't blame the players for playing hard and wanting to win. Guys are playing for their careers and couldn't give a fat baby's d*** about fan's ranting about the 1st overall pick. You can't nudge players to "tank" who probabaly won't be on this roster next year.
WoW.
Trade all our picks for a qb
I usually like your takes but quite an immature way to look at things. Getting super triggered that the Giants won and circumstances that are beyond out control is a bad look. Cam Ward and Sanders might still be up for grabs and the fact that the players are still playing this hard shows they haven’t quit. Yes these seasons are hard but shit happens in sports and all we can do since we aren’t employed by the franchise is hope things break the right way as they did for former shut teams like the Bills, Chiefs, Bengals etc
I agree entirely with Dan. This win hurts. Plus we scored 45 points but that means Indy gave up 45. They sucked today and it hurts.
You need to replace Dan as cohost.
Jesus. Why?
Emotions hinged on circumstances outside of your control equals overreaction and a podcast following a trend of content diabolical in nature.
Nick’s mustache looks gay
This shit show …it was the damn colts …why celebrate ?? I’m sick of the BS 💯🤬
Can’t do anything right
Ownership is afraid to take a black QB so they're trying to win so they move down
I’m reading this more and more. Maybe it’s because I’m a 73 year old white guy but I think ownership is just incompetent. I wanted Lamar back in the day. I still get sick over it.
Enough Sharpton. Nobody wants to hear your black power bu!!$h!+.
They drafted Andre Woodson and they would have drafted Caleb and Jayden last year. Stop spouting nonsense.
I think you’re right dude! And I’m uspset because there afraid to draft a green QB! How do u think shreck feels? There’s not enough green quarter backs!! 😢😢😢
This is the dumbest take I have ever seen. I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul!

They don't need a quarterback, they are set on Drew Lock being the franchise QB

Mara, Schoen and Daboll just told you who their QB is. Drew Lock. They will give him a multi million dollar deal next year. It's clear to see that is what they decided. They will get Lock to win next week also, even though Barkley runs for over 100 yards and breaks the record.
Drew Lock balled out. Wonders never cease when you give a talented QB time to throw. I'd rather the Giants win and keep winning.
🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
That’s it….this win doesn’t portend more winning. You become a fan last week buddy? Lock is a third stringer. Great QBs don’t need great OLines.
I wish I could agree but by draft day everyone will forget this game except how we got screwed.

Hurray for Nabers. The new face of the ny giants.
Nick how do you remain dietarily disciplined as a sauce monkey (Italian) during the Christmas season? Inspirational. Sincerely.
Everything with this team and franchise is a loss.
Dan: 2 wins at the end of a 2-13 season is lipstick on a pig.
Bullshit
The Giants never “secured” the #1 pick. There were MANY games left to be played.
Believe it or not, almost all players have pride and want to win. They play hard, especially guys who are fighting for their own career survival. The Giants just happened to run into a crappy team and at the same time, played well themselves. A rare win this year. Not good at all for draft purposes, but not a shock.
Who expected Drew Lock, Malik Nabers etc. to lose on purpose? Come on!
