- Dehradun is the capital city of Uttarakhand, a state in the northern part of India. Located in the Garhwal region, it lies 236 kilometres (147 mi) north of India's capital New Delhi and 168 kilometres (104 mi) from Chandigarh.
It is in the Doon Valley on the foothills of the Himalayas nestled between the river Ganges on the east and the river Yamuna on the west.The city is famous for its picturesque landscape and slightly milder climate.
It is well connected and in proximity to Himalayan tourist destinations such as Mussoorie, Haridwar and Rishikesh.

waoo fabulous video sir.. who ever say dirt by the road side come to IT Capital of INDIA BANGALORE you will know what is garbage by road side I stay in Bangalore since 1989 and I have seen the transformation of our garden city in the name of urbanization... and I was quite fortunate to spend 6 years of my childhood days in deheradun from 1983 to 1988 we stayed at DL Road for few months then shifted to Qaters near IRDE RAIPUR I went to Little India school and my elder sister went to prabhuniketan school if possible could you please show the IRDE RAIPUR and DL ROAD region my father used to work at IRDE Raipur we got shifted to Bangalore in the year 1989 Thank you so much for refreshing our memory I literaly have no words to describe how happy I am to see deharadun after almost 3 decades it reminds me of Mussoorie, Haridwar, Rishikesh,Tapakeswa, Robers cave, sahastradhara I wish I could purchase a home, appartment there. highly appreciated if I could get the details of the current real estate price details

Dehradun has lower elevation than Bangalore and Hyderabad in sea level. Still they consider it hill station. Why? It's a normal city not a hill station.

Because Banglore and Hyderabad don't have winters, while in dehradun their is extremely cold weather during Winters. Minimum 4 degree temperature.

It's not caused by the locals, but most of the spills are caused by outsiders who comes here or mussorie to visit. They are the true culprits ask any local and u will have the same answer.
