My first Google sheets started from the beginning to the end, loved the process. Got everything 100%. At the end of the project, whatever input you have for one month, shows on every month, is there a way to have each month with their own input details?

Maybe I missed it in the video but is there a section to track the actual expenses other than adding them up and putting the total in the 'actual' tab? i.e. The cost of each trip to the grocery store vs. the total of all trips to the grocery store

A way around that issue is to manually add each transaction amount to the formula using the + sign to update the total, then double click on the cell to select insert note or comment. In your note, you can list each transaction and amount. This way your transactions don’t take up a lot of space on your sheet. I see that your issue was solved, but thought this might be helpful for anyone else with the same question.
You can do it both ways, it's just a matter of preference. I like copying the sheet tab to the same spreadsheet. Looks better that way and it's easier to manage.
Kindly follow the steps in the video keenly snd you'll be able to create an exact copy of the template... or better yet, you can purchase the already made template using the link in the description.

You can't do that with this spreadsheet... this was a basic monthly budget spreadsheet

You cannot switch months with this spreadsheet... but what you can do it make copies for each month

This is awesome. If I need to move to a new month, will the data be removed? If so, what can I do so it all the monthly data is kept?
You'll have to make a different copy for every month.
Will that be an entirely separate spreadsheet or can it be just a separate sheet within the same xlsx?
