@@KTFG My 5th grader daughter looks super geeky now as she wonders around her campus with a megaminx in her hands, thanks to you :P I found this video by searching for megaminx on UA-cam search bar, when I was looking to solve the last layer. I like how you put everything into a single video and add the section title displayed on the top, which makes it super easy to find the exact section when I need to go back to it. But if you are wondering why it's not getting as much views, my guess is it's too long. Most people look for video instructions when they are stuck at a certain step, and they just want to watch a 3-5 mins video dedicated to solve that step. The length of this video would probably put those viewer off. Maybe you can break this up into series of videos. Hope that increases the views. Thanks again!
Wow, putting those numbered stickers and showing/explaining the edge permutation just cracked rubiks cubes for me. I've been doing algorithms without really understanding what going on. Now every time i do a new algo im going to do the same so i fully understand it!

I’m glad you find this approach useful. I believe it’s beneficial to first learn and “understand” rather than just memorizing without understanding. Most people are deterred by a long tutorial so I tired something different with the 4x4 Tutorial. Let me be honest. You are seriously the most helpful speedcube tutorial channel ever! I am not a beginner in speedsolving, but you are so in depth with your explainations and you are really there to help your viewers, which I really appreciate. I think this might be the most underrated cubing channel, because you don't skip steps or expect people to know cubing terms. You even use graphic demonstrations to show your point, like the glow stick and the megaminx clock. Really I appreciate it. Thank you. (If you were wondering, I am sub 20 on 3x3, sub 50 on square 1, sub 8 on 2x2, sub 20 on pyraminx, sub 2 min on 4x4, and I havent speed solve my 5x5 but i have solved it, but I just started Skewb and I am learning megaminx)

I like this method, just received a Qiyi Qiheng S few days ago and sometimes is very annoying their method for edge and corner permutation, but your method it's very easy to understand.

Thanks, Yes eventually I plan to. My method is an actual Layer by Layer Method which is different than any I have seen taught. The Bottom always stays the Bottom, the Top always stays the Top. We then solve each Layer intuitively and work our way up. We don’t flip it over to solve a “new Bottom”. I do believe it’s the simplest most intuitive method to learn it. However I will need some help from the viewers. It costs me money and takes a considerable amount of time to make these tutorials. In order to justify the time and expense I need the video to be successful and earn money. Currently this Megaminx LL tutorial is not earning enough to pay for the Megaminxs I purchased to make the video not to mention the time I have invested. That is where the viewers come in. UA-cam’s algorithm works on engagement metrics like Comments, Likes & Shares. Without those, YT with bury the video and it will never get recommended. If the viewers will do those things it helps out tremendously. So once I get 200 Likes on this video I will start on the full Megaminx tutorial. If that doesn’t happen then there just isn’t enough interest to justify it. So if you can share the video as much as possible and get as many people as you know to Like and Comment it will help tremendously. Hey man you’re one of the only tutorial videos I’ve seen suggest people to understand their algorithms to learn them. When learned 2 look OLL for 3x3 it was really confusing until I learned myself to slow down and watch what I was doing to understand what the pieces were doing instead of pure memorization. 👍

Thanks for the simplified 3x3 tutorial, u gave a very good education there , thats better than what I've seen other UA-camrs who rush in steps and proceed fast ,i didn't go along with them and they had some hard algorithmis but when i saw your tutorial i realized how easy it was based on how you broke it step by step , now i teached 7 of my friends and family members your easy way to solve the 3x3 cube and i realized later that they were also teaching others😁 , alot of bunch of ppl use your method now and it's expanding now. yeah what a small world. Thanks, I started the full tutorial first with black Megaminxs but the gray top color didn’t show well on camera so I scrapped that and bought just enough white Megaminxs to do the LL tutorial. I was going to use the revenue to purchase enough white Megaminxs for the full tutorial but it isn’t earning enough to purchase more. I know I'm not a youtuber, but I'm a viewer, so I'll recommend to shorten your vids length coz as a viewer long vids are a no no , but ofcourse make a long explained video(for slow beginners) and other short vids for people who just want to go straight to the point without further explanation . I know I'm not in a place to inform you as a UA-camr but as a viewer i also recommend to create #shorts coz it leads to more people discovering your channel and who knows, maybe tables would flip and your channel would explode like other people who offer amazing Videos on #shorts , you can create tips and simple algorithms as content and speed solving and other stuff. Wow! Thank you Kevin. This was so easy to follow. Beforehand i was referring to notes for last layer algorithms. Now i can solve the whole megaminx without using any notes at all. Just out of interest, have you ever posted a 4 by 4 solve video? I can solve a 4 by 4 but often need to refer to notes if i encounter parities on the last layer.

Your megaminx tutorial is so enlightening. I'm actually seeing the moves rather than just rotating to achieve an end goal. Creating the half past one edges, then moving around the other 3, plus how you swap the final corner pieces was a revelation. I wouldn't worry about a lack of views for your megaminx tutorial as there are a few factors to consider. The megaminx isn't yet as popular as the 3 by 3, maybe too many are daunted by the odd shape, therefore megaminx tutorials are probably less searched for. I can't thank you enough. I could return to my megaminx after a year and still remember how to instinctively and intuitively solve the last layer. However, the same can't be said for the 4 by 4! I have Algorithms written down but they are so complicated and easily forgotten.

Thank you sooo much. This was by far one of the best videos I'ver watched about megaminx last layer. I use to solve it before because I "memorized the algorithm". After a several months without practice, I forgot the algorithms. Now, I really know what I'm doing with the megaminx, which was far superior than just memorizing some rules. I love it.

Hi! Thanks for the video. Really helpful. I almost done solving it yay! Can I ask question regarding timestamp 30:24, is that really the way of solving it? Twisting the corner like pyraminx?
It's impossible to have 1 or 2 corners incorrect. If you have either, then a corner is twisted or stickers have been changed. So yes, just twist it because there is no mathematical way to fix it otherwise. Keep practicing and after a several days it will be second nature. Then you can start on some of the CO Intermediate Method examples as seen at 39:23 . I found this video by searching for megaminx on UA-cam search bar, when I was looking to solve the last layer. I like how you put everything into a single video and add the section title displayed on the top, which makes it super easy to find the exact section when I need to go back to it. But if you are wondering why it's not getting as much views, my guess is it's too long. Most people look for video instructions when they are stuck at a certain step, and they just want to watch a 3-5 mins video dedicated to solve that step. The length of this video would probably put those viewer off. Maybe you can break this up into series of videos. Hope that increases the views. Thanks again!

You may have a twisted Corner as seen at 30:08 & 38:36
Just twist the Corner correctly.
the final step to position the 5 gray corners was SUPER helpful in this video. Much easier method than any other video or algorithm I've seen!

I’m glad you find this approach useful. I believe it’s beneficial to first learn and “understand” rather than just memorizing without understanding. Most people are deterred by a long tutorial so I tired something different with the 4x4 Tutorial. Let me be honest. You are seriously the most helpful speedcube tutorial channel ever! I am not a beginner in speedsolving, but you are so in depth with your explainations and you are really there to help your viewers, which I really appreciate. I think this might be the most underrated cubing channel, because you don't skip steps or expect people to know cubing terms. You even use graphic demonstrations to show your point, like the glow stick and the megaminx clock. Really I appreciate it. Thank you.
(If you were wondering, I am sub 20 on 3x3, sub 50 on square 1, sub 8 on 2x2, sub 20 on pyraminx, sub 2 min on 4x4, and I havent speed solve my 5x5 but i have solved it, but I just started Skewb and I am learning megaminx)

My method is an actual Layer by Layer Method which is different than any I have seen taught. The Bottom always stays the Bottom, the Top always stays the Top. We then solve each Layer intuitively and work our way up. We don’t flip it over to solve a “new Bottom”.
I do believe it’s the simplest most intuitive method to learn it.
However I will need some help from the viewers. It costs me money and takes a considerable amount of time to make these tutorials.
In order to justify the time and expense I need the video to be successful and earn money. Currently this Megaminx LL tutorial is not earning enough to pay for the Megaminxs I purchased to make the video not to mention the time I have invested.
That is where the viewers come in. UA-cam’s algorithm works on engagement metrics like Comments, Likes & Shares. Without those, YT with bury the video and it will never get recommended.
If the viewers will do those things it helps out tremendously.
So once I get 200 Likes on this video I will start on the full Megaminx tutorial. If that doesn’t happen then there just isn’t enough interest to justify it.
So if you can share the video as much as possible and get as many people as you know to Like and Comment it will help tremendously.

When learned 2 look OLL for 3x3 it was really confusing until I learned myself to slow down and watch what I was doing to understand what the pieces were doing instead of pure memorization. 👍

Thanks for the simplified 3x3 tutorial, u gave a very good education there , thats better than what I've seen other UA-camrs who rush in steps and proceed fast ,i didn't go along with them and they had some hard algorithmis but when i saw your tutorial i realized how easy it was based on how you broke it step by step , now i teached 7 of my friends and family members your easy way to solve the 3x3 cube and i realized later that they were also teaching others😁 , alot of bunch of ppl use your method now and it's expanding now. yeah what a small world.
Now back to my point, i have a scrambled megaminx in my hands, the moment i got it i searched for a tutorial about it done by you but i couldn't find any tutorial about it other than the one about solving last layer, but u mentioned above in the video that u made a 101 megaminx tutorial but it happens that i could find it no matter how much i search , could you please link me to that tutorial please, i appreciate it 😊
Thanks, I started the full tutorial first with black Megaminxs but the gray top color didn’t show well on camera so I scrapped that and bought just enough white Megaminxs to do the LL tutorial. I was going to use the revenue to purchase enough white Megaminxs for the full tutorial but it isn’t earning enough to purchase more. Soon I plan to just do a walk through solve on the Gan using my method.

I know I'm not a youtuber, but I'm a viewer, so I'll recommend to shorten your vids length coz as a viewer long vids are a no no , but ofcourse make a long explained video(for slow beginners) and other short vids for people who just want to go straight to the point without further explanation .
I know I'm not in a place to inform you as a UA-camr but as a viewer i also recommend to create #shorts coz it leads to more people discovering your channel and who knows, maybe tables would flip and your channel would explode like other people who offer amazing Videos on #shorts , you can create tips and simple algorithms as content and speed solving and other stuff.

Many people read the comments for similar problems and I don’t mind taking the time to help people but I’d like it to be able to help as many people as possible.

Any interest in a Full Layer by Layer Tutorial?
My method is an actual Layer by Layer Method which is different than any I have seen taught. We solve each Layer intuitively and work our way up.
I do believe it’s the simplest most intuitive method to learn it.
However I will need some help from the viewers. It costs me money and takes a considerable amount of time to make these tutorials.
In order to justify the time and expense I need the video to be successful and earn money. Currently this Megaminx LL tutorial is not earning enough to pay for the Megaminxs I purchased to make the video not to mention the time I have invested.
That is where the viewers come in. UA-cam’s algorithm works on engagement metrics like Comments, Likes & Shares. Without those, YT with bury the video and it will never get recommended.
If the viewers will do those things it helps out tremendously.
So once I get 200 Likes on this video I will start on the full Megaminx tutorial. If that doesn’t happen then there just isn’t enough interest to justify it.
So if you can share the video as much as possible and get as many people as you know to Like and Comment it will help tremendously.
Another funding method I am exploring is sponsors and I have started a PayPal for any companies or individuals who would like to be named in the credits.

Wow! Thank you Kevin. This was so easy to follow. Beforehand i was referring to notes for last layer algorithms. Now i can solve the whole megaminx without using any notes at all. Just out of interest, have you ever posted a 4 by 4 solve video? I can solve a 4 by 4 but often need to refer to notes if i encounter parities on the last layer.

Your megaminx tutorial is so enlightening. I'm actually seeing the moves rather than just rotating to achieve an end goal. Creating the half past one edges, then moving around the other 3, plus how you swap the final corner pieces was a revelation. I wouldn't worry about a lack of views for your megaminx tutorial as there are a few factors to consider. The megaminx isn't yet as popular as the 3 by 3, maybe too many are daunted by the odd shape, therefore megaminx tutorials are probably less searched for. I can't thank you enough. I could return to my megaminx after a year and still remember how to instinctively and intuitively solve the last layer. However, the same can't be said for the 4 by 4! I have Algorithms written down but they are so complicated and easily forgotten.

Thank you sooo much. This was by far one of the best videos I'ver watched about megaminx last layer. I use to solve it before because I "memorized the algorithm". After a several months without practice, I forgot the algorithms. Now, I really know what I'm doing with the megaminx, which was far superior than just memorizing some rules. I love it.

Can you do a Square 1 totorial? That would rlly help. You go so in-depth with everything and for every case. I think if you did that for the square 1 it would be very helpful.

Hi! Thanks for the video. Really helpful. I almost done solving it yay! Can I ask question regarding timestamp 30:24, is that really the way of solving it? Twisting the corner like pyraminx?
It's impossible to have 1 or 2 corners incorrect. If you have either, then a corner is twisted or stickers have been changed. So yes, just twist it because there is no mathematical way to fix it otherwise.
Keep practicing and after a several days it will be second nature.
Then you can start on some of the CO Intermediate Method examples as seen at 39:23 .
