Oh good times, those 2 years ago., when the golden era of LAG tv stil lasted. good times No look at it. No cheese has been failing for the almost a year now, 2 years since the last proper season, and their videos are struggling to get 5k views. Those are sad times indeed.
i swear, the SLOW realization that "omg he's trapped...omg he's contained....omg he's in a perfect position", coupled with the massive glitch-egg timing on that Hatchery, was unbearably epic! I actually, literally, LOL'ed as I've rarely lol'ed before!

@skillz0122 We cast games of bronze through diamond level players. That means that not all games are going to be epic Boxer the Emperor moments. In fact, I would say the odds of that ever being the case are slim to none lol. This applies to both WCF and our regular casts. If you prefer master level play you may want to look elsewhere for casts. Not being rude, it's just what we do here. We also screen HUNDREDS of these games. We're definitely not slacking in that department lol. Adam
I feel like it may be necessary to say this. We might have shot ourselves in the foot releasing several increasingly epic WCF in a row because now some people are expecting that standard to continue. Truth is, we can't keep that up every episode lol. When we sit down and watch 100 replays and choose one to do for the week it's not always going to end up being super crazy or funny. Sometimes it will be something like this, or great escapes from the cheese. Hopefully you all enjoy anyway! Adam

Wow, that's priceless. I think it's kind of sad how the zerg just let the pilon survive when he could easily have destroyed it before the cannon warped, and then he could have just killed the next probe. I guess that lone cannon really wasn't that bothersome as long as he didn't let another probe in. Maybe the zerg knew as soon as he saw the cannon rush that he would submit this to when cheese fails so he decided to do something wacky? Don't think he expected it to be this wacky though!
If you look really close, the sentry is actually attacking the ling on the left through the hatchery, anyone who plays protoss should know that the sentry attack animation can go through structures just like the colossus attack going through walls
The reason the zerglings eggs were stuck was because there were no room for them to spawn. This is the same for every other races as well. For ex: if a barracks was surrounded with units it will block the spawn of the unit being created and the unit will not come out. This happened quite a bit to me esp with bigger units like tanks and thors.
You guys are so enjoyable to watch. The accent makes you sound like you're from Eastern Canada, but it's your signature now (along with "micro your macro"). That zergling thing was crazy. I am insanely curious now what would have happened if the sentry had thrown up a force shield displacement thingie. Think it would have pushed them out or killed them?
He really should've started attacking the hatchery ages ago. A small swarm of lings like that could easily overwhelm the two zealots and do a ton of damage before the toss could do anything about it. Why wait until they have stalkers and your units are already dying? "oh wait, toss have ranged units? forgot about that..."
I dunno man, maybe that zerg player knew that bug and just built up a surplus of zerglings, because if that didn't happen, the 2-4 zerglings that pop out could've been killed easily by the zealots. XD nice video! need more!
i REALLY wish that was a more viable strategy for zerg in general. The hatchery bomb. Put a hatchery somewhere that blocks the eggs from hatching due to not enough space to contain all the units, and then continue to make like a 100 supply army in the space of a 2x1 grid. So then the enemy comes by, see the hatchery, kills it, and voila, a trillion units pop out of nowhere. It would make for the best replays ever.
@dagis2 I'm sorry to hear that. We unfortunately can't stop people from spamming you if your game gets casted. It's really bad that the community feels it necessary to do something like that. People who send in the replays should definitely know that you're exposing yourself to such possibilities should your game get casted. Seriously though guys, there's no need to harass the players. it's a glitch where the game won't allow too many units in one area, so all units that are being created don't spawn until there is more room. This tends to happen with ultralisks and the edge of a cliff, but I've never seen it with zerglings, because zerglings are so small.. I believe, don't quote me on this, that the same can happen with barracks and very strange terrain and building placement.
Someone needs to see what happens when you get all those eggs built up in the corner, get about 10 phoenix to lift all the zerglings to allow the eggs to hatch, and then see what happens when the lings drop back down.
@bipinformprotect cheese is a strategy that is semi-famous and may work but probably won't. Examples are bunker rush, cannon rush, planetary fortress, 6 pool, and of course proxy hatchery

The sentry wasn't attacking the hatchery, you can see it attacking the lings that were behind it. it just looks like it is because the beam, is going straight through the hatch. Hilarious game though =D
I have to give you guys massive props for the improv you put into these commentaries. I study with an improv troupe, and the commentary you give is just genius!

if you paid attention to all the eggs there and the prodution tab the zerg had something like 30+ lings qued up but you could tell when the hatch went down that there wasnt that many lings so most of the eggs just glitched

I saw the larvae in the corner and I was like FUUUUUU-- I was thinking for Z to use a Nydus, but then the Hatch burst, and the eggs popped, and P's main was flooded, and then the floor was covered in yogurt.
I understanded something completely different. Rally pointing larvae as in making a rally point for a SINGLE larvae to spawn a unit to. Have a nice day and sorry for misunderstanding.
@wharfreek I think it was pretty pointless to make the hatchery there too. I mean, if he was going for spine crawlers then it was good, but the toss didn't wall off so he could've put that Hatch anywhere and made lings without his queen getting taken out twice.

The eggs will immedatly hatch once the building that's blocking them is gone. It's a neet trick to use to get a gigantic army.
