- Today I'll be making some basic DIY CNC clamps for my Shapeoko 3 cnc mill. We'll be using Plywood, HDPE plastic, and MDF to make clamps on the CNC. PLA plastic for 3D printing some clamps and even a CO2 Laser cutter for make one set of clamps.
We'll be using carbide create for making the clamps on the CNC.

Thanks man! You are an inspiration! You have a great mind!
Thanks for posting this great video. I hope to cut some tomorrow on my Shapeoko.
Great video. These clamps can be used in many applications in the workshop outside of cnc. I’ll be 3D printing some for sure. Thank you. 👍😎🇦🇺
They definitely could also be used for things like bench top clamps. You're welcome. Thanks for watching.
simple but awesome video
This is a fantastic video. I was looking into some low profile workholding methods. Straight to the point and effective way of presenting it. I appreciate your time!
Thank you 😊
This is easily the best video on CNC type clamps I have found, so many different types of clamps and each one demonstrated for flex , excellent video
Thanks, Colin!
wonderful tutorial and video..thanks alot :)
Excelent video! Thanks
You're welcome. Thanks for watching!
Great video
thanks so much for the video
You're welcome. Thanks for watching!
molto interessante, grazie.
Great video and good info. Especially the Carbide Create-software that can be used in Mac as well! Thanks!
You bet! Thanks for watching!
Where is the link to the traditional stepped mill clamp?
Thanks for the video... the laser files don't work though - can you update the link please? Thanks!
muito bom o vídeo... procuro algo que para prender seja algo mais rápido... ficar parafusando na mesa requer muito trabalho
Thank you for watching!
Gr eat video. Thanks. Where is the link to the purple 3D print STL ? Cant see that on your blog or thingiverse
I don't know what happened to the original, but there are other versions on Thingiverse you can try: www.thingiverse.com/thing:6062 and www.thingiverse.com/thing:2771417
Wo kann man die STL-Dateien herunterladen?
Where can I download the STL files?
Great stuff! I don't have carbide create. How can I use these files? I'm a Vectric and Mach3 guy. Thank you
Carbine create is free, so you can just install it and use the gcode from there or export a SVG to us in Vectric. Thanks for watching.
@@MakeTechCreate Thank you for the quick reply!
Where are the files? Great video...
Gotta say.. I tried your Carbide Create file for the 3/4" MDF clamps.... totally wrong. Almost everything is inverse...look at the simulation.... I appreciate the video and will try some of the other clamps, just wanted to let you know about that file.

Like everyone owns a CNC machine.
lmfao ... why are you watching the video for then?
Everyone does.
Why on earth would you post something like that? why would you even need this video or these clamps if you don't own a cnc machine?
все не то, стол то все равно портиться саморезами
Thanks for your input
