I absolutely love tropical downpours - and this one is a beauty! The rain tends to be warm, as opposed to the cold rain in a temperate climate, for those who have never experienced a tropical storm.

It's a down pour alright that lasts 15-25 mins. What I hate is the thunder and lightning that strikes and claims average of 2-3 lives a year.
I miss that sound of strong rain pouring on our galvanized corrugated roof while eating dried fish, rice and fresh tomatoes for dinner. I would pay to hear that again and with the same dinner.

well we do get an average of 20 typhoon yearly so its already a part of our lives
