Take a walk around Oroquieta Sta Cruz Manila Philippines. Mostly infamous for being a fire prone area, this urban community along Oroquieta Rd in Sta Cruz Manila is a densely populated area near CM Recto Ave and Rizal Ave which is popular for its accessibility to one of the biggest markets in Manila called Quiapo Market in Quiapo Manila. We visited Oroquieta in Sta Cruz Manila to meet the people, explore, and do some good deeds, and it was definitely a great time! Enjoy the video, and see you again soon! I was stationed in the Philippines years ago. I did a total of about five years. The Filipino people are some of the most beautiful, loving, caring, intelligent, and hospitable people in the world. I sometimes refer to the Philippines as my second country. I still know how to speak a little tagalog even after all this time I've been gone! 😊
im half Filipino and ill be visiting the Phillipines for the first time in my life in a few months. im not sure what to expect but my family always tell me the people are so kind. getting a glimpse of seeing how people survive and live through videos like these are eye opening. im sure when i visit it will be a humbling and life changing trip. much love from new orleans, can't wait to get more in touch with my culture and people ...
@PraiseOnMyLips i live in the US, i never struggle like the people in this video. i always have AC and heat, most the time i probably waste food from leftovers, im never starving and without reliable shelter, i have countless amenities.. this video reminds me to not take any of that for granted
Hey hi ! I from India I came to see how is tha life of people of Philippines but you completely poured out your heart and showed that such a simple, beautiful face can also be so friendly.
Never fails. Turn into something and somewhere usually a never before explored alley and surprise it looks just like the previous alley! I guess all alleys look the same around Oroquieta in Sta Cruz Manila. Sta Cruz had the most European charm with cobblestone paved mini plaza near Escolta back in late 1960's. Manila needs preserving more historical sites than "Balut" and "Taho" (bean curd).
It's been a while since your last video of the cities in Batangas. It would be great if you'd make another one, especially Lipa, my hometown. The Uptown area, near Robinsons and Big Ben, is a great spot to stroll around.
The name Oroquieta does ring me a bell while on my holiday on a southern coast next to Ozamis City so just two same name but different location in Phillippines
Ido, tanong lang kung wala kabang anxiety? Kasi iba ibang lugar ka ma papad eh tapos hindi kapa natatakot kahit ang lugar dilikado. Inggit ako sayo kasi may anxiety ako at panic attack. After that seizure na ako😭
Nkklungkot ang itsura ngayon ng Oroquieta street specially this area you walk on this video. (You walk 180 degree starting from Recto, Oroquieta St, Doroteo Jose St , and Avenida Rizal Avenue going back to Recto Avenue. It used to be very clean and neat without the squatters. So sad. Thanks for showing the area we grew up. More power to you.
Nothing ever will as long as Barangays exist as their own little kingdoms and the locals keep accepting bribes to vote. Marcos stole 10 billion USD.. his son used some of it to bribe people to vote. I know in illocos they were being PAID up to 1000 pesos each to vote the man in. Of course the fact his family stole 1000000000 times that amd will steal more now they are in power is why things wont change. Glad we are about to get the last of our family away from there.
Thanks for the breakdown! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?

Very cool video... Thanks ❤
There is no such "Quiapo Market" in the area. Central market is a little far ti the east of the street, while Quinta market is far south.
@ a 10 minute walk is far?

Any Tom , Dick or Harry can set up a stall in the Philippines, it seems . Is there any control over them , I wonder !!

Sobra dami tao
No smiling from pedestrians at all! It shows how miserable they are on that part of the world
Would you please to go more dangerous cities that travelers normally can't go
In truly dangerous cities, there'd be no cute girls walking around carefree.
@@deleonrikkieI checked out your channel and I see that you are brave enough to be hanging out in some really dangerous places. Hahaha😅😅😅😅
to much slum and crime.will never go to those land.
Nxt time if no shirt no munch 😮...😅
Ibang-iba na ang Oroquieta ngayon , magulo at di na maayos
Nothing, but mess
