2016 Z Design A+A, Social Project, Ann Van Hoey + Den Ateljee EN 1

Ceramist and designer Ann Van Hoey and the day centre for people with special needs ‘Den Ateljee vzw’, Wezemaal, have recently launched their A+A collection during the 8th Triennial for Design ‘Hands On Design’ in Ghent. The ceramist had been toying with the idea of setting up a social design project for some time. Serax from Kontich was also immediately persuaded to take on the challenges of this project. “Not only because of the social aspect, in which we strongly believe, but also the design was immediately to our liking. An absolute win-win situation for all.”
