I think she was very rough combing through your hair and not taking the time to detangle it. Your hair is still beautiful and will recover from this salon visit!
One would think that she was upset at you or jealous of your hair because I don’t understand how someone can comb another person’s hair in such manner. Look at the hair she was pulling from the comb, she knew what she was doing. I’m so pissed because it’s hairstylists like these that make us afraid of stepping into a hair salon. I visit the UK from Canada and went to an African hair salon and had the same experience. What was she doing with that little yellow comb in your hair! It calls for breakage🤦🏾♀️ Also her not focusing on you but talking to the other lady made matter worse because that’s when she was just raking through your hair.
She was not concentrating on my hair throughout the entire process, it was as if she wanted to quickly move on to the next customer. I was a painful experience. Like you pay that much to get someone look after your hair but that’s so hard to find these days. I have made up my mind not to go to any salon again at least not anytime soon.
You definitely went to the wrong salon; there are plenty salons in the UK (well I speak for London) where you can get a silk press on relaxed hair. Sorry you had such a poor experience, she really was handling your hair roughly.
Sorry dear, but some hairdressers know what their doing, just that what they think their doing is wrong for your hair. The combing is the killer game , they comb the hair until your scalp hurt
The hair stylist did not try at all . For 40pounds … You should say your mind next time because that is how she lost you as a customer and she will keep losing others.
@@tifeoluwani you really should practice. Once you get it, you will love the body it gives you. Also it stretches the hair nicely. 4 months will become like nothing between relaxers.
I'm sorry about your experience..... Not everyone is good with haircare though. Hairstyling/hairdressing as some people call it, is very vast. As much as I have an idea on everything hair, I decided not to do everything. Rather, it focus on my strength and what I enjoy doing when it comes to hairstyling so I can be the best at it. But, because everybody wants to make fast money, people do everything..... Carving a niche for yourself is very important in business, but what do I know?🤷🧑🦯🧑🦯🧑🦯
Exactly, Like she should have just focused on her strength. Some ladies came in with dreads that day and I was happy they didn’t stay to make their hair because she would have spoilt their beautiful dreads.
The combing alone would have made me get up and walk out.
