I really,,really loved when,,Jamie and Brianna first met,in that alley. It was so emotional. The expression Jamie had on his face,,and in his eyes,,when Brianna told him, who she was. Omg,,.That's one expression,,,I'll never forget.
Yes exactly Sam Heughan is such a great actor, he emotes so well but never too much. In a matter of seconds the number of expressions rippling on his face is amazing. Cutting the meeting scene was a head scratcher to get it right but for me, the essential moment was when he recognizes her. So poignant.
They look at each other, and they both just knew....the realization. Jeesh, This whole vid made me misty. Sam and Sophie are great actors. Both have such beautiful eyes.
Kirsty Jane mine to be honest the bit where he says you can call me Da has me in tears all the time both reading and now seeing it . This is what I call my own father btw I’m of Irish descent and it’s just as common amongst them as it is Scottish children . There is the gaidhlig / gaeilge term athair but that’s a bit formal for most kids and really only used when speaking of him or expressing love or other emotion for him .
In my opinion, episode 409 was perfect! I cannot ask for more from Outlander! I think the writers made an excellent adaptation of these chapters of the novel Drums of Autumn, they didn't change much...Sam Heughan stood out with his wonderful performance. He is amazing as Jamie Fraser! I wish you all a Happy New Year 2019!
Happy new year to you too 🤗 and yes Sam is just amazing. Working on those videos, l get to rewatch some scenes so many times and I have a new found admiration for his acting.
Sam and Caitriona really owns their characters. But I tolally LOVE all the others second roles characters: Jenny, so honest, Ian, her husband, the quiet and strong man, Murtagh...god, Murtagh! I love this actor! And his line to Brianna in this video is SOOO him: "what took you so long lass?"...brilliant!
How right you are! Every single character is amazing in their roles. Also love lord John Grey too amazing actor. And the actor that portrays Stephen Bonnet is killing it!
A little message to wish you all a happy new year ! Thank you for your support by subscribing and your kind comments, always very much appreciated. I couldn't imagine when starting to make fan videos to find a receptive public both among a Discovery of Witches and Outlander fandom, so thank you all again.
@@nelojib It is from a movie soundtrack called Far from the madding crowd composed by Craig Armstrong here ua-cam.com/video/0eD4kdrFTIQ/v-deo.html The movie is great too if you like period drama. I'd like making a video about it once Outlander is finished, let's see.
There are many handsome Scotsman there as gorgeous as Sam, even though not all of them are gingers. When I took a long trip there for the first time ever in 1995 for a conference in Glasgow as well as several happy weeks of R&R in the Edinburgh area for the Festivals and Fringe, it looked as if some awesome geneticist at the University of Edinburgh had run a high successful experiment to produce an area population of many gorgeous-looking people, especially the local guys. Not only handsome, but really nice and well-mannered guys, so opposite to the ill-mannered lug-head louts I had met most days in my life in America. I fell totally in love with Edinburgh from that moment onwards and have come back for later conferences and trips and delightful times with the locals at the Festival and Fringe afterwards.
OMG. The absolute best episode ever. Jaime and Brianna were amazing. I also regained some respect for Roger. Stephen Bonnet's vile character is increasing to be one of the worst villains ever.
Lisa MESSIER I think Ian summed it up perfectly saying he had a charm that puts you off your guard so you don’t realize how vile he can be till it’s too late
I just now binge watched season4 to get ready for upcoming season 5. what a rollercoaster relationship these 2 firey redheads have. Straightforward bluntness, affection, and yet the ability to truly hurt each other. Cat/Claire kinda had to play a bit more of a supporting part this season as the other actors got to chew on the scenery a bit more. "What took you so long, lass?" is my favorite line from Season 4. But Jamie telling Bree she's his heart and soul and Lord John's "Where there's Love there is Hope" are close behind. Jamie and Bree is my (and many others) favorite scene in the entire series...even after 6 seasons. They both longed to meet each other. Is this Music from the actual soundtrack??
No, this is from Far from the madding crowd movie soundtrack. A very nice period drama too. Here is the piece I used ua-cam.com/video/DrNZ-lYFM48/v-deo.html
Love this so much ! Reminds me of me and my own father and yes I do call him Da I’m of Irish descent and just as common there as in Scotland 🏴 as is mam for your mother !
Thank you very much 😘All fantastic in this épisode .i was Happy for Jaimie & claire 💗 Sam was perfect 💖 Happy New year 🥂🍾 All the best .sorry my english is Bad 😉
You know you would think TV AND FILM STUDIOS would analyze the success of this high quality *award winning* production and wake up to what makes a masterpiece. People pay lots of $$$$ for these kinds of things and support it even AFTER it leaves television and the theater. Seriously how hard is this concept to grab for CORPORATIONS? They just don't get it and they lose BILLIONS hashing out CGI money grabs that fade away into the realm of THE FORGOTTEN. This show will not be one of those entities. ;)
Love that murtagh meets Brianna with him you get someone that knew Claire when she left and when she was with Jamie before so if Brianna needs answers to what their love for each other is or was then murtagh is there !
Beautiful Reunion . But don't we know that some people need to bitch about something. Where could he have washed his hands. Can't believe that's what they took away from that scene'
For me, I understood it differently. I thought it was very much in keeping with the underlying humorous tone of the series. Even when things get tough, serious or even sexy and romantic, they make some kind of joke not taking themselves too seriously. I mean who would have imagined such a meeting, Jamie peeing is the first thing his daughter see !!!!! It's bloody hilarious in a way and I love it. It's like when Jamie and Claire made love for the first time after twenty years, he nearly broke her nose or when Jamie was talking about death being meaningless compared to their love and Claire comparing it to the first law of thermodynamics 🤣
what do you mean ? I can assure you I took the scene from the episode where he and Claire meet for the first time in the print shop and when she hand him out those photos. Do you mean they used another actor's hand ???
She is supposed to be taller. At least they got the hair color right this season because before her hair was way too red and they keep mentioning how their hair are identical so her styling is much better this season.
The chick who plays Brianna was convincingly American until she said the word "anything". I paused and Googled her. British. She needs to practice to say it like "ee"nything.
No..not buying it. She's goodlooking and all, but they need a teen girl or young twenties, not this 26 year old Sophie would mean he would have to be..let's see..if he was 15 and in real life Briana(Sophie is 26)..He'd have to be 41..just looked him up..he's 40, and she is 26..so Jamie was 14 when he had Briana..lolol..very likely and has happened in America or is happening weekly in America believe it or not there are active 8th and 9th graders..My freind or used to be friend had his daughter at 16 and he said when they eat out EVERYONE thinks he's dating her...lol..they are both goodlooking
I thought the same thing ! I thought he might have said "your eyes are like claire's , etc....but it was still beautifully done ! I played it over and over bc I was in the "moment" lol !
I had the same thought especially because he looked at those pictures so often which is very endearing. I guess it was the fact he couldn't have dreamed in a million years he would meet his daughter who is supposed to live 200 years later. Plus her styling is very different especially the curly hair than in the photos. And he says it too, he thinks of her as a baby because he never witnessed her growing up.
I really,,really loved when,,Jamie and Brianna first met,in that alley. It was so emotional. The expression Jamie had on his face,,and in his eyes,,when Brianna told him, who she was. Omg,,.That's one expression,,,I'll never forget.

Another episode that is stunning and the acting is brilliant, Sam Heughans portrayal of Jamie is award winning material

Every time they say Brianna it's quite confusing bc my name is Brianna 😂
Sophie is very pretty but I was wondering that shouldn't Jaime and Claire's child should be as tall as Claire at least?
She is supposed to be taller. At least they got the hair color right this season because before her hair was way too red and they keep mentioning how their hair are identical so her styling is much better this season.
The shorter actress is a better height fit for Roger.
The chick who plays Brianna was convincingly American until she said the word "anything". I paused and Googled her. British. She needs to practice to say it like "ee"nything.
Well Brianna is here B.Day 1948 that would make Brianna 72 year's old now but she looks 22 well i wish i was Ha ha ha ha

What awful actress choice for Brianna , can't feel anything good for her , can't relate to her pain ,her happiness , don't like Brianna actress at all
Their performances in seeing their daughter was stotic and boring. Dory parents in seeing Dory was way emotional.
