I bought the same kit to do a 21" replacement deck. That small can did 2 coats, plus the interior of a once rusty wheelbarrow. Pretty amazing. I do periodically spray Fluid Film on the underside of the deck just to make sure nothing accumulates.
@@NameItBuildIt The combination of using POR 15, Fluid Film and a very sharp blade is unbeatable once you've done those 3 things. I can mow long wet grass with complete confidence nothing accumulates. Didn't believe until I tried it.
Not yet! just sand it down and prep it, then get oem toro red paint and 2 stage clearcoat. I search my videos for how to paint a badge or fender for a Corolla. 😎
Good point. This is on the bottom of the deck so it doesn’t matter but they make a UV resistant clear coat if it was exposed to sunlight that I would have used 😎
Thanks, I will try it. I previously tried POR-15 without the two preparation stages on my mower and that immediately peeled off in sheets. Shame this stuff is so expensive though.

Don't expose it to the Sunlight. UV light changes the POR-15 appearance, and possibly the gloss.

You need to thoroughly prep whatever you are applying por15 to or it will will not stick. If you do it the way I showed in the video it will work.
