The music, the scenery, the dancer... Like a poem! The music is just so enchanting, music from another world... and so wonderfully played!!! Thank you for this!
He is absolutely stunning with an enigmatic beauty.. Great video. I love the Wagneresque Black Sea region scenery at the back drop. It really adds to the drama.. Also thumbs up for the Royal Ballet for travelling all the way to film and photograph dancers at their native lands..
I know him + think it may interest you to know his story Aged 14, accepted into Royal Ballet upper school (usual intake age 16). Went from 1st to 3rd year (aged 17) was accepted as 1st soloist in the company aged 18 (skipping corps etc) + now dances principle roles (aged 19) He is a rare talent He was offered royal company + kirov, so requested a meeting with director Monica Mason + said that before he made a decision he wanted to know "how quickly he would progress through the company" lol
Well... whatever it is it actually could fit both because yes that is more like Prince Rudolph's costume... but Mayerling is a hunting lodge... not on a sea at all... not that anyone really cares lol. I think this idea of filming the photo shoot is pretty cool. Cant wait to see more!
Gigliola Guerra yes I heard about this! Taming of the Shrew at the Bavarian State Ballet? Absolutely wonderful! I actually meant to dance together at the Royal... too bad he pulled out last year for Marguerite and Armand :(
Also I didn't mean that. I didn't know it was for Mayerling, I meant it looks like the perfect spot to show people, "this Could be Swan Lake." With Siegfried's castle in the background
It's um not Swan Lake. It's for Mayerling. They're using for the adverts for Mayerling which is on next season. That's definately Prince Rudolph's costume, not Seigfried's.
Absolutely fabulous photography, Sergei is a natural in front of the camera. Love the pictures of him warming up his feet. He has beautiful feet, 😊
Not only a ballet prodigy. Sergei Polunin is a rare, true star with exquisite beauty. I think he'll do so much for ballet now on.

What a talent, what a dancer.. Yes, he quit the Royal Ballet but he can never quit dancing, he is born to dance.
Its not the body of a person, but the soul, that you come to know and love.

Csodálatos!
georgeous!
Now we all know it's Swan Lake, but if it's ever needed an image of where it would be in our world, I think the Black Sea would be spot on
