I just want, one time in my life, to be even Half as pumped about Anything as 650id is about this dude workin on his bike. I'm not even hatin, I love the passion man
Nicer richer fancier than Diamonds. You can't top this front end with all its jewely like ingredients. Zach is a master like usual I bet he loves working on your teams projects
Gosh! 650ib I’m feeling lucky 🍀 here. Man, all I can say is, you and Zack have created a masterpiece. That I, my friend, is going to claim. Keep the vids coming and everyone stay tuned for my claim. 😀
Great teaching episode! Another thing you can do is hold the brake lever in then tighten the caliper bolts, to ensure centering. Those calipers look killer!
Holy shit, did you see the price on these. Who ever got this bike, if they ain't already doing so, should start going to church on Sundays to thank God for winning this bike. The upgrades on this thing are impeccable.
The proper way to get the correct brake pad clearance is to loosen the caliper bolts, squeeze the brake lever to clamp the pads to the rotors, then torque the caliper bolts. This will ensure the caliper pistons are properly leveled on each side of the rotor and that the caliper isn't slightly crooked at all.
Does the ecu need to be updated by the dealership after installation the calipers & master cylinder? I'm bout to do the same upgrade & already have the brentune stage 2 tune.
This bike is coming together very nicely, Ib! And each new build series gets better and better; I can't wait for the New Build Bike reveal; will the reveal be via a live or regular video?
Hey man! Thanks for the compliment ❤️ I'm going to do a live stream when I pick up the brand new 2018 motorcycle for season 4 of The New Bike Build Series 👍💪✔️👀👀👀👀👀
Ive been trying to get those caliper mount dowells out like Zach did. The first one i tryed will not budge without wrecking it. Now im too scared to go any further.
Cool vid your contents always fun, quick question 650, I know you’ve been around the s1000rr for abit you heard of any issues with the engine the camshaft wearing down the tappers I think something to do with a poorly treated coating on tappets, in uk I’ve heard this quite abit I was looking at the s1000R variant but same engine essentially. Thanks 🙏
Simon Jones yes new ABS systems are passive so unless air won’t come out of system(lever feels mushy) don’t need to bleed the box. There is a way using the diag. Computer to bleed abs box if necessary
650ib Bike is looking amazing. But I was just wondering if you have had to disable the abs on the bike at all to use the Brembo GP4-RX calipers? The reason I'm asking is because I have the same calipers which I already had for another bike and I was gunner put em on my R1M, but one of the European Brembo distributors told me that Brembo says you can't use these calipers with abs. I just wondered if you guys have been told differently? Personally I don't see a problem with it.
Did you guys get a clunking noise when going over small bumps or driveway aprons at low speeds after installation of floating rotors? Just curious because my Brembo rotors do that. Thanks in advance.
Does anyone know if you need to put another dowel pin to have these calipers align or they should be snug with the bolts. I'm trying to get these installed.
I just wanted to see a video that shows how much play these brake discs have, because I have the same ones and have been told twice that they are broken, I have to replace them. Can anyone help me?
Hello I really like your videos but now I have same master cylinder Brembo 19RCS Costa corta and I would like to now which DOT breake fluid you use for this pump ...for street and race (some time) use?
What steps do I need to do to become a fan? Are Patreons the only people who are entered in the drawing to win a drawing prize. I don't have the means to become a patreon at the time but my fiancé literally follows you and your builds everyday and shows me all the new things you install on these dream bikes. So is there any way to support your channel and these builds that doesn't cost money? Thanks for your time and info.
The Brembo M4s require lines with a 10+ degree angle at the banjo bolt. Factory S1000RR braided lines, available on the later premium models have this option but the earlier models with standard non-braided lines do not have the angle. Spiegler custom makes lines for the M4s.

Those calipers... Wow! Made outta beautanium

4:18 you always have to center the calipers by turning the front wheel, braking and holding the front brake, before tithtening the screws
Was just thinking this, tighten them with the brakes are applied so they sit where they naturally want.
Why???
The forq, the calipers, the wheel, etc are all fixed on the same thing.
Kitting this S1000RR up with goodies fit for a king 👑 brother
Great teaching episode! Another thing you can do is hold the brake lever in then tighten the caliper bolts, to ensure centering. Those calipers look killer!
That method may work, however you have no way to ensure the pistons all move at the same rate.
Simon Jones True; it’s more about having them centered at rest.

Damn I need to get that torque wrench, dude knows his stuff

Hey IB its your good buddy Frank
Sexiest brake calipers ever....the extra stopping power is perfect for a yoked and jacked rider.
Love your vids as always. Shame that bmw can’t be offered out to people outside the US. Ride safe
What's the model of the Brembo Calipers fitted in this video?
Nice video. Good install and checks.
Can we clone Zack and put one in every BMW dealership everywhere?
That would be nice!
It's looking good man 👍🏻

Hi! Grat Vid!!! Is necessary to change the brake lines if you upgrade calipers? Or bleeding the lines is just fine? Thanks!!

Yes, it was a known issue in the 🇺🇸 and there was a recall on it a few years ago that fixed it.
God please bless me with this bike! I’m a Patron now!!! 🙏🏽
God doesn't care about bikes
lol I can wish.............
I’m assuming Zac didn’t cycle the ABS pump as it still had brake fluid in it. Would be good if you asked him.
Simon Jones yes new ABS systems are passive so unless air won’t come out of system(lever feels mushy) don’t need to bleed the box. There is a way using the diag. Computer to bleed abs box if necessary
You rock Zack!
Thanks Zack

bro next time mention the caliper models.Love from INDIA @650ib
Hey IB
I know it’s out of context
But I would like to know if you could ever do a review on a 2018 Honda CBR 1000rr (SP2)
Is that The GP4 Rx model?
Would've taken Jaret Campisi all day to complete...

Can you put some Brembo calipers on a Yamaha r6 2019?????
Do changing the brake caliper will affect to ABS?
Hello I really like your videos but now I have same master cylinder Brembo 19RCS Costa corta and I would like to now which DOT breake fluid you use for this pump ...for street and race (some time) use?

Are you reusing factory brake lines? I'm currently modifying my brakes on s1000r got the corsaCorta19 and brembo m4s can I use the factory lines?
