The fact that Kenya's economy is still growing at like 5% and yet the country still can't outpace interest rate hikes is something a country like the US just never has to think about. Our government gets sad when we have to pay 3% interest rates on debt while Kenya's paying 10% on new bonds that it takes out just to avoid default on older bonds that were at 7%. The entire problem would go away overnight if Kenya was paying the kinds of interest rates that the US pays.

🤣🤣🤣🤣Sounds like Jan 6th in america 😂😂😂😂
January 6th was nothing. And nothing in the USA has ever come close to anything that happens in africa. Our democracies are challenged both on ballot and by force.if you want to see protests government coups incarcerations come to africa.
Lmfao 😂😂😂😂😂
Russia strikes again.
Classic western fanboy line but Russia had nothing to do with it, it's rutos masters in the USA and IMF that wanted taxes raised.
Gained their independence from British rule in 1963. Been going downhill backwards ever since.
type kenya in 1963 and today..british colonialists were not on Kenya to help them but to suck the country dry... colonialism is only nostalgic to racists
Another wagner coup
700 million for his wife's office and 300million for the youth fund and you call it a wagner coup? If you inherit land from your parents, the title changes from freehold to leasehold, still a wagner coup? Sanitary pads being taxed 18% more in a country where 50% of girls miss school when they are in their periods because they cannot afford a pad? Cancer treatment rise to 20% for chemotherapy, from 50k a session in a country where the average worker earn 15k per month and the health insurance just pays for your bed in the hospital? You must be insulting the intelligence of the Kenyan youth.
Wwwhy they vote for ruto in first place. Is it same as us. Biden or trump?
More or less😢
new kenyan leader will ebe the Hatian leader "b-b-q" !
If I know NATO, it was Russia.
Nah, just corruption, extremely high youth unemployment, and terrible government policy.
