What happened to "the peoples car". Not just talking about VW. What happened to the affordable, light weight, not complicated reliable automobile options? All the extra Tech such as the Infotainment System adds to the cost, complexity of the Vehicle. I do not want this complexity in my automobile. More and more I am out of the New Automobile Market. I will stick with my 06 VW with a Manual Transmission. The Laws and Regulations need to be changed. I want a well engineered and thought out automobile. I want a simple reliable button and switch configuration. No Infotainment System, No push button start, a physical real Parking Break. Simple things like a Engine Oil Dip stick. So, I can check my own oil. How is this possible. Using a Cell Phone when Driving is illegal. However, some how it is Legal to have a ever increasing sized screen in front of my face. That controls more and more functions in the Automobile.
Totally agree. Simple, functional cars are getting lost in all the screens and unnecessary gadgets. Sometimes less is more, and things like a dipstick or a manual parking brake should be standard, not a luxury. Good point.
@@AutoPulseChannelThey don't make much money on small cars. They stop building them so people would buy bigger SUV. More profit. Ford stop building cars except Mustang. Then they complain people don't buy small cars.
You're right, it's all about the profit margin. Bigger SUVs and trucks are more lucrative, so companies like Ford shifted focus to them. It’s ironic, though, that now they’re wondering why small cars aren’t selling when they pulled them from the market
The only descent car was the subaru the rest are crap, hope no one takes your advice 😮

Yeah, the CX-5 is awesome! Can't wait to see the hybrid version too, should be a game-changer!
