These guys should be featured at festivals like Bloodstock, Wacken, Hellfest next to other big Death/Black/Thrash Metal bands! I was 10 in 1994 when this came out .. I was always a huge slayer fan and grew up in an age where we traded tapes / CDs .. in highschool a friend of mine had gotten the slayer tribute “gateway to hell” and loathed it .. I traded him some lame album for it and fell in love ! I spent all my years after that searching for full albums of those bands .. I lucked out one day when I friend of mine had this in his collection and was more than happy to get rid of it ! I played it so many times for years and years after that .. wish I would have taken better care of it , but hey ! Sadistic intent was the soundtrack to my teenage years !! I wouldn’t have it any other way ..
Came out in 94 at that time everybody playing death metal wanted the morrisound sound, not these guys and that was a great decision cause this record is perfect the way it is.

We opened for this band at the Waters Club in San Pedro ,California in Sep1990,, It's amazing to me they are still touring and playing festivals all over the world ,,, i will always Support Sadistic Intent !!!

If I'm not mistaken a couple of these guys went to Nightengale and Franklin schools in the Highland Park area of LA. I was a lil scrub getting into the death metal scene. There was always gigs going around that area of Highland Park, Cypress Park, Glassel Park and so on. I went to school and met a few of those guys. Damn I'm getting fucking old bro's!

Rick and Bay, the band members and founders, have a record store called Dark Realm Records in Downey, CA. They are great guys and have awesome stories. I spent like 2 hours in there just chatting about metal and stories. The place is incredible and is the best metal record shop for rare finds, patches, CDs, and imported T-shirts. Absolute MUST visit if you’re in the Los Angeles area! 🤘
