I have all of the North American game files for MAME, Atari 800, 2600, 5200 & 7200, 3DS. DS, NES, SNES, GB, GBA, GBC, Gamecube, N64, Wii, WiiU, Sega 32X, Dreamcast, Gamegear, Genesis, Master System, Pico, Saturn, Sony PS1, PS2, PSP, Vita, original Xbox and old PC games through eXoDOS, totaling almost 18 TB and Launchbox has been extremely awesome in keeping everything organized and downloading relevant media so I get to see the covers of the games, manuals, and anything else. Sincere thanks to everyone who works on this project. My only criticism is that I can't afford enough storage to acquire all of the North American Xbox 360 and PS3 game files. I am moving some things around though so that I can purchase a lifetime BigBox license. I hope you all know the importance of what you do.
Great live stream guys. My spooky story 🙂 This happened just after the launch of the Xbox 360, I’d gotten the console day one and one of the first games I had was Condemned. To commemorate getting my 360, I bought a 51” Sony DLP TV and an Onkyo 7.1 surround sound system. This was my bedroom gaming setup and Condemned was going to Christen it. I blacked out my windows, turned off all lights, turned the volume way up and powered on Condemned. This was my first experience with surround sound, so you can imagine my surprise when I heard sounds coming from behind and I’m unable to differentiate whether it’s real or in-game lol I had never felt so on edge before and never understood how much sound design could affect a game. Less than 10 minutes into the game, someone jumped out at me from behind. I dropped my controller, quickly turned on the lights and never touched that game again. I literally thought I was having a heart attack 😂
Can someone let me know how to change the startup look in Big Box? I've added some themes and applied them, but when ever I start Big Box it just looks like my Smart t.v. or Netflix home screen, which I personally hate the look of. I want it to look like it does in Launchbox with the game systems on a rotating wheel on the right side, with the previews on the left. Thanks for any help you can give.
Absolutely, you'll want to change the startup screen of Big Box. In Big Box, go to "Options > Views > Default Startup View", and you can change which view Big Box defaults to when loaded. The one you're describing will likely be Platform Categories, and then just make sure to change the `Platforms List View`, which is within the same options menu, to whatever view you want (probably one of the platform wheel views)

Thanks for the kind words, too many games is certainly the best problem to have 😬

30 seconds for bigbox mode to open. Don't you think it's too long?
