I am not really much of a reader tbh, infact I barely read at all (except ofc mangas and stuff) haha, but one of my friends was on my ass all the time , telling me to read the silent patient,since I enjoy psychological thriller genre, and MY GOD , i kid you not I finished it in like 3 days , all 3 nights after work spend JUST reading this for hours.Really this has to be one of the best pieces of fiction I came across in a while.I was on the net for the couple of days searching for recommendations ,which in turn got me here to your channel and seeing you put the silent patient on the absolute top, makes me wanna get all the books u mentioned in the top 2 tiers. My coming weeks are set 🔥🤩

A lot of ppl get into her when looking for thrillers, so I gave some recs that have similar writing styles and also some more "advanced" ones for when you're more familiar with the genre. Enjoy ❣️

I also really liked My Dark Vanessa and it definitely is a heavy read. I will say that I do not have a therapist on speed dial but I can definitely see why others will need one after reading MDV. Books don't, usually, move me emotionally but this one definitely did. Specially after reading the author's stuff in the back of the book. Oof.

@@litwithleigh Yeah, if I remember correctly my Kindle version had discussion questions in the back and then the author basically doing a Lolis represent type thing after it. Was a bit disturbing and it validated my thought that the author was probably groomed in her teens in my mind as well.
