Just seen the documentary. It's pretty interesting and definitely gives different insights on instagram and other social media outlets. Idk, it just seems like another typical awareness doc. The message from the doc is basically "Just be careful and don't do foolish things for just followers".
social media just blows my mind. little kids thinking a number on a photo defines them. i’ll admit the photography dude and ohio chick were chill. but that blonde girl just baffles me. although it’s not much of her fault. she grew up well off and didn’t seem like she had to worry about much so she got lost in the internet.
@@shydennise u bafflin me rn with how dumb u sound. i promise i dont care enough to hate on anyone. if you watched the video clearly youd know what i was referring to shut yo goofy ass up
bitch i definitely watched it rn lmaoooo like i said you are a fuckin hater tf re read what you said nd you sound like ah mad ass hater nd you probably poor as shit bye
Damn just watched this movie and it hits home like how easily we are influenced by this online image of ourself and others for the sake of validation... especially the story of the young girl who got bullied and her story reminds me of 13 reasons why.... but thankfully she bounced back from it and learned that real life can be as rewarding and validating // contrasted to the 'popular' blonde girl who says that even though she has all the pictures 'nothing ever really happens' in her life because she is always documenting. and then the young man who takes great pictures and is in it for the art and the thrill but is not getting the same validation... loved the different angles in it... food for thought
A 24 year old model in our city plumetted to her death from a rooftop downtown. Nobody has said it was from taking a selfie but I think it was because when I searched the hashtag that was related to the building where her lifeless body was found on the street below, there were photos of some girls standing on some chairs taking a selfie from the rooftop of that building. I think she was trying to do the same thing. Also she was a heavy drinker. I'm a photographer and I've photographed her before for a job. I didn't hire her the client did. She wasn't a nice person on the set so I made sure she didn't get hired again and suggested the client hire someone else the next time. This was about 3 years before she went splat on the ground.
@@janiecouture3661 Sorry, I'm just now seeing this. Regan Robertson was her name. The headlines of the story don't use her name. The whole thing has been very mysterious but I pieced what I think may have happened based on knowing a little about her. Just sharing you this, as Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." God loves you so much that he sent his son Jesus Christ to die on the cross to pay the price of sin for all. After 3 days after he died, he rose up from the dead. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior to be saved from sin and have eternal life (John 3:16, Romans 10:9).
If you want to hear the word "like" a million times. This documentary is for you. Does this new generation of young adults have any variety of vocabulary instead of using the word like every 5 seconds.... Painful!
Its on Netflix now

Alex Rodrigues I just finished it, and that’s all I heard. I couldn’t even pay attention to the story.
Sounds like someone didn’t get enough hugs from daddy. Create a real life that actually matters because this is just sad.
Oh, good grief, no. Just no.
