One of that crazy tough Russian guys who was trained to ignore pain...
Denis Velox there was no one to hurt him the first place. By far his greatest gift was his insane strength, I mean a suplex is something unheard of in the superheavyweight division and he performed quite regularly to the point that it was considered that you did great if you didn’t get suplexed by him
Mike Devyatov, he freaking went from his back, to his knees, to his feet, all while holding a 285 lb thrashing bull of a man in front of him like a sack of animal feed. Absolutely insane strength. He was my idol when I wrestled.
one olympic wrestler scored 1 point, and acted as if he had won gold right there, it was that big a feat just to get a point on that monster.
Much can be said about Karelin but he is definitely not crazy.
When he was 18, he gave his Father "the talk"
" A man of focus, commitment, sheer will" - Quote from John Wick. Applies perfectly to Karelin.
I’m sure he was everyone’s boogyman in thought or on the mat.
@@r6685 he was a boogey in the world of combat sports even MMA legend Fedor said he would be the best if he joined ufc
This guy is undefeated for 13 fuckin years and he regularly fought in the Nationals, European Championship,World Championship and the Olympics.
These tough and strong looking dudes be sometimes the kindest person you'll ever meet.
apparently, he is very quiet and polite. lotta the big russian fighters are bc they're thinking about putting out a good image not only of themselves but of their country and their sport
Well that's kind of true. Really strong dudes don't need to prove their strength by raising voice or mean looking or starting an unnecessary quarrels. Their accolades speak for them.
In fact many strong dudes were weak and they became strong by training, so they know what it feels to be weak
'With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility'
He isn’t really kind though. He’s well spoken and isn’t an outward menace but there’s a fucking monster behind those eyes. There’s a reason people like that gravitate to combat sports
As an American, i have to say, this man is the heavyweight goat!
Как русский я тебе скажу.сам ты козлина янки
they say he's the reason Chuck Norris looks under the bed every night!
Aleksandr would try to throw Chuck Norris so far, that they had to dig him back up because gravity couldn't lift Chuck Norris
Who is they ?
@@11xr1east other people than us.
That would be Fedor Emelianenko. The boogeyman looks under his bed for Chuck Norris and Chuck Norris looks under his bed for Fedor.
The only good thing is that he won't fit under a bed
Sleep paralysis demons see him standing at the end of their bed when they wake up in the middle of the night
I read an article about this guy "The Bear" a long time ago. The article quoted guys he wrestled as saying they were afraid of him because of the pain he inflicted. These were olympians saying this. One guy said the Russian folded him up like a lawn chair and that he was in pain for a week.
🤣
his feet hit the back of his head dude lol
Imagine trying to date this man's daughter
not a problem...I'm good man but if she'd looks like him 😓....no thanks
And imagine any girl date with him 😂😂phad de ga.
@Usama Fayyaz Wwe or Mma? She sucked either way honestly.
I just imagined.....
Text you after I get over this fracture 😂
Why date his daughter?!?She could probably kick your ass:)
No chance against my mother in law.
Mine too
no cheat guys
Yep.
Right lol
Lol
Intelligent, flexible, very well conditioned, consistent, tactical and immensely powerful -- greatest Greco Roman of all time. To all you young wrestlers out there, do your kettlebells!
I was watching this with my daughter. At the end of the video I looked over at her and now she somehow has a majestic beard and wants to be called Rampage
Rampage Jackson?
and wants to be rampaged?
Lmao thanks for the laugh
He was such an unbeatable beast. One of sports greatest of all times. I remember one time when he had his opponent on the mat, arms around him, then blinked with one eye at the camera and just tossed the poor guy like a piece of lumber. Like "here it comes".
There's good wrestlers, and then there's Russians...
There are good Russian wrestlers and then there is Keralin.
And then there is The Great Gama ❤️🔥
Some of the best wrestlers in MMA are black though.
@sick J You're right. But blacks are also better than slavs.
@@ciupilan1000 Tell that to Mike Tyson.

Not just any degree. A PhD.
He got everything maxed out, intelligence, physics, combat sport skills, education.. fucking everything
He is actually very kind and chill person. You probably wouldn't expect that from a guy like him.
Absolutely amazing strength, agility, flexibility and stamina for a guy his size. Truly impressive. Much respect 🙌♥️
And he wasn’t just some unintelligent brute; his technique was scientific. Man had brains, too

All jokes aside Cain vs Brock wasn't a wrestling match. It's completely different. It's like saying Randy Couture is a better boxer than James Toney because he beat James Toney. .
It's amazing how calm Russian athletes look until it's showtime.

considered the greatest Greco-Roman wrestler of all time.[2][5][6] Karelin won gold medals at the 1988, 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games under a different flag each time (Soviet Union, Unified Team and Russia respectively), and a silver medal at the 2000 Olympic Games. His wrestling record is 887 wins and two losses.

Stamina, balance, tenacity, incredible strength, focused power, what a wrestler he was. The best.
He is one of the greatest athlete that is ever known hands down!!
Imagine if a boxer or some other type of fighter gets cocky and says that he could beat any wrestler and this guy comes to him and breaks his back
Vlaicu Rabca Never underestimate a solid base wrestler who can take a punch, that’s all I’m gonna say.
I just imagined Balrog VS Zangief, at the first time I read your comment lol
@earaza Yeah I agree with that, most of the fast fighters are really good, and it's hard as hell to beat a fast and strong fighter
I would want to see Jon Jones fight this dude if he was in his prime. He was community college wrestler that beat 2 the hell out of two olympians Hendo and DC.
@Mad Max Jones would beat him without a doubt.
