EXACTLY what I needed right now. I just bought one of these carts a couple of weeks ago. I'm almost 72 years old, female, and have a bad back. I could NEVER have put this thing together without your video. Thank you so much! 💯
THAT right there is why I make these silly little videos! I’m so happy this was helpful for you. Thank you for watching and all the best to you and you bad back. Thank you.
You are awesome!! I tried 2.5 other UA-cam videos on this assembly for my wagon cart. I got about five minutes into 2.5 other videos and found yours, thank you thank you thank you. To the point and very accurate I appreciate that.
Dude, you saved me with this video. I needed this cart badly to haul storage bins and the stupid instructions were in tiny lettering that I could barely see! In the Spring, I will use it to haul fertilizer and mulch! You ROCK!
Not only is it tiny, none of the hardware is numbered in its packaging, so the instructions that are, for example referencing, "use Nut 9 and washer 13" are meaningless. Incomplete' too. Unless you use the small washers on both sides of the steering mechanism, you'll wind up with extra parts. Nothing said about the 4 lock washers.
Man, I hope you get famous -- for all the right UA-cam reasons -- and therefore rich! You're a natural at this stuff. Thank you for saving me from the horrific "instructions" that came with this otherwise great garden cart.
hahaha! rich AND famous! I'll take the rich and leave the fame, I hear its not all its made out to be! But really now, thank you for watching. Im super happy my silly little videos offer something of value for peoples attention unlike most of youtube. Thanks again.
I just bought this to haul my Christmas decor to my backyard storage. It pretty far back there to haul this stuff! Thanks for making this video! The instructions are in a tiny little pamphlet!!
TY for the assembly instructions. The instruction manual was so difficult to understand. I just took it out of the box, and looked up a video and there you were. 👍🏻
Can't thank you enough. My Son was putting this cart together for me and after some time of frustration I recommended we look for some help on You Tube when we came across your video. What a BIG help it was!!!. Thank you again for sharing this helpful video.
Thank you so much for sharing. I purchased this to use as a market cart and the instructions did not hep me - you might never know how much your sharing your time and knowledge helps! Bless you!
Just got one and some things have changed on the assembly. They use push pins for the tires now 🤦🏼♀️ and the back assembly has 2 support bars. But I couldn’t have done it without your video. THANKS SOOOO MUCH ❤️
Great instructions, very much appreciated. You've probably saved people thousands of collective hours. HF should post your video in the Garden Cart description.
Thanks for enlightening my humor putting this together! I took my old one apart to recycle it and thought ‘no worries’! HA! ..immediately threw away the worthless instructions and got out the lap top! Found you.. Thankyou…!
You are awesome!!! Totally saved us with your video instructions as my daughter and I are not extremely handy people, so first seeing the included instructions was a nightmare! You saved us with this video!! Thank you thank you a million times over!!🙃😁🙏🙌🙏🙌🙏🙌
Fantastically informative video! Your explanation of each step was easy to understand, I just purchased mine and was wondering what washers went where. You also have a great sense of humor. Thanks so much for making this video, it really helped! It is videos like yours that make you tube great and social media worthwhile.
Thank you so much for making this video. I would have been over the moon frustrated with the instructions that came with. You saved me so much time and a lot of swearing 😊
Yep, the instructions never mentioned the lock washers once...after having leftover parts and my acorn nuts popping their tops, this video answered my question! Lol
Hey man, I wanted to give you a shout out and a heartfelt thank you. I was able to get my wagon done in about 45 minutes thanks to your easy to follow instructions. Well done!
Harbor Freight needs to put a link for this video in that ridiculous instructions manual they have and pay you. If it wasn’t for you, this wagon was going back to the store 😩 !! Thank you , thank you 😊
Well thank you so much! I’m really glad this silly little video helped. I really do try to make something of value in exchange for peoples time with these videos. Not like 99% of the rest of UA-cam, robbing people of their valuable time with trash to stupefy their simple brains. Thank you for watching.🙂
That was one of the most enjoyable videos I've watched. I don't even need to assemble one of these but once I started watching you made it so funny I just kept watching
Thanks for the video just bought mine. I'm guessing that the two holes in handle lets you pick your grip orientation either up and down or flat. Wish me luck lol.
Your very welcome! I’m happy people still find my silly videos helpful. As for the missing pin and washer, if they are indeed missing I wouldn’t be at all surprised the way China cranks these things out so fast! BUT, I’m sure you can find those missing pieces at your local “home improvement” stores hardware department. If Ave Hardware is a thing in your area I’d start there. Why? Because they have an excellent hardware selection with some of the most oddly specific items and selection that Home Depot can’t compete with! Though for simple parts like that and the likelihood of accessibility, the depot is probably a good bet. Thank you for watching!
I noticed that when attaching the flat connecting bar (about 9:20) the assembly works much smoother if you place the flat bar UNDER the steering arm bars ("under" with the wagon upside down). The instructions show it assembled as in this video, but the steering arms scrape badly against the flat connecting bar that way. Also the instructions (and parts list) doesn't show the lock washers for the wheels. Also, I was going to re-use the old wheels from my old (previous style) cart (which finally rusted out on the steering arm, but I had recently replaced the rusted out wheels), but doesn't work! The old wheels are slightly wider than the new wheels, so that they bind up when tightening the acorn nuts. Thanks for posting this video!
And of course, my metric sockets are among the missing....I really do appreciate your video. It kept me from wanting to throw things and cursing the idiot who wrote the instructions!
i was just about to return it because the wheels don't turn and a cart that goes in only in a straight line wasn't much use. The instruction manual doesn't say to leave those front bolts loose! Watched your video, loosened those bolts, and wheeled around in circles!
Thank you for explaining where the lock washers go. Because the mfr. does not label the hardware and so the part numbers are meaningless in the "instructions. Very much appreciated.
well, i put my wagon together but durn thang not steerable! so, says i, get out the instructions. hmmm, must be in the trash with the box. found it, worthless so back in the trash! decided to consult youtube, where after several watches, figured out the front was too tight! when is it ever smart to leave loose bolts on anything? works fine now, thanks to you!!! some of the reviews say not great wagon, but it seems to be a darn fine replacement for the red childs wagon i've used for years. thank you for detailing the build!!!
No Problem! Thank you for watching! Knowing my silly little videos help someone out there is why I make them!...that and because theres an outside chance youtube/google will give me a few bucks now and then! Its a fine wagon really! I purchased two of them for our steel yard. Our customers load them up with a couple hundred pounds of steel scrap all the time. Honestly can't believe they haven't been destroyed. That says something.
Sadly, I am already finding this useful...Thank you! You would think there would be a "tools needed to assemble" and labeling the lovely nut card....but I guess I am expecting too much...right? And where do the split ring washers come into play....because nothing is labeled a split ring washer....
Ya the "instructions" leave something to be desired don't they! As for the split ring noise makers, honestly I don't remember and I'd have to watch my own video again just to reference it but I'm not a huge fan Of watching myself and listening to myself is even worse! So I would say this much, Those washers are just a way to keep nuts from backing off over time. Use where needed! (insert laughy winky face). I hope this was helpful and Thanks for watching!
Fill those tires with expanding foam, did it to my Pneumatic tire hand truck when the tire would keep going flat. Flip the cart upside down so the wheels can spin freely. If it has a tube (some do) remove it. Then puncture 3-4 small holes in the tire to be able to feed the tube from the can of expanding foam. Squirt in small amounts then spin tire. That will send all the foam evenly around the tire while wet and pliable. As it expands it will push all the air out the holes and then the foam will start coming out. Once it cured cut the excessive foam that leaked out. Homemade run flats !!!!!!
It's been 3 years and wondering how it's held up? I saw another video an theirs is in really bad shape. I'm glad I got the 2 year warranty. On the flip side, I wish Harbor Freight would send you a cart every time they change the parts or design. I just bought one yesterday and reading they changed it a bit. Hoping to have done it myself but not sure now. Too bad they don't have a free assembly like Home Depot does.
Liam Souza well, there were 3 in this video, 2 of which went for daily use by our customers at the steel yard! As you can imagine most people when using something that does NOT belong to them they treat it, well, unfavorably let’s say😂. They’re both still being used daily since this video and haven’t had a problem yet! Honestly, I expected worse. But I’m surprised!
Honestly I haven't looked at theres. But if its any consolation I did buy three of them: One for hauling wood around the property for our fireplaces and the other 2 are used daily for our customers at the steel yard in town. I watched one customer load it up with several hundred pounds of steel without incident!
can you please load up one of the carts with one thousand and one pound (or more) and pull it around the yard a few times??? I don't really care if it can, I just want to see if you will...
@@4rnorthwest when I saw the little tires, I figured the metal cart might hold up under 1,000 pounds, but I don't think the tires would. What do you all think?
I ended up with the same two leftover pieces. I wonder if it's related to the extra holes in the base of the handle. Maybe an earlier version needed an additional fastener.
