Hi, loved the video but was really hoping to join your GHL community to see what the possibilities are. the link you've provided is for Skool. I've seen other comments on this below but the primary reason for me watching this video is to learn how GHL communities work in reality. I already have a community on Circle - which is great - I'm considering moving to GHL to keep everything under one roof. Thanks very much for creating the video- linking to a GHL community would have been the icing on the cake! :)
@@RonMedlin awesome thanks - would love to check it out and, if it's workable, my team will definitely need help in setting it up ;) ps- I also am waiting for search to be launched across posts which I believe is coming soon. This was one of the features of Circle that pushed me their way. cheers
@@RonMedlin Thanks for asking. How to connect a domain for each group for marketing purposes. How to use the channels, vs groups features, etc. Rewards for engagement. Some thoughts and struggles I'm having right now setting it up. Thanks!
This great, thank you! Is there a way to set up the membership so that people who sign up in, let's say, October, get access to October's content and all the following months as long as they keep paying, but they don't get access to the months prior to them signing up?
You would create a form or survey and someone completing that form/survey is the workflow trigger. If the community is in GHL the module would be one of your courses so one of the actions in the workflow would be giving them access to the offer for that course. If community is on SKool the action would be a webhook. Then you setup the webhook as a trigger in a Zap with an action step that unlocks the course in Skool. Hope that makes sense
Can communities be used as a private group for purchasers of a HT product? If we keep them private (from Skool) but free in price (because they've paid in GHL for the course). Would this work as intended?
so if the rewards doesn't connect to any levels at all, does this mean we can't technically use this feature yet or would we have to do it all manually right now by keeping track of peoples scores and sending out their rewards directly?
I started my Skool community over a year ago when ghl communities werent very good. So it would be too much of a pain to move. Plus Skool is just better right now. I think theyll catch eventually except for the culture. Don't think they'll ever catch up with that on the community side but I'm a big GHL guy. I'm probably one of their 1st 20 clients but on the community side they're just behind.
They basically copied Skool lol. There's a few features missing like direct messaging and the Gamification is not fully setup. But they're moving much faster than Skool coming out with features. Skool is pretty stagnant so I think ghl will eventually surpass them.

My community is on Skool but I built out a demo community on GHL. Thought it was in there but I'll check

Thank you for doing this video
You're very welcome!
This was game changer thank you for sharing! Please make more videos on GHL communities :)
What else would be helpful?

Be a lot of manual work but you can lock and unlock courses for people
Great video Ron. How do you create a form that will automatically unlock the next module?
You would create a form or survey and someone completing that form/survey is the workflow trigger. If the community is in GHL the module would be one of your courses so one of the actions in the workflow would be giving them access to the offer for that course.

Sure you can do that. I just saw some of the new GHL releases though it's going to be basically like Skool after the Summit. Minus the culture.
Thanks for this but I do not see where to download the checklist for GoHighLevel in your community as mentioned?
It's in the classroom. Send me a Chat there and I'll send it to you.
I really believe GHL communities will beat SKOOl here soon!
Feature wise I agree, culture wise never
@@RonMedlin damn
@@RonMedlinthen what is the point in doing this and not Skool
How do you lock and unlock courses to the community members once they they finish the previous course?
I use GHL surveys that they fill out after each course and then webhooks to unlock the courses

So far, I'm just so confused on how to "activate" the gamification
I imagine an update is coming soon
Yeah not sure It works properly yet
You can build automations once they complete a section or a course to grant access to another course, send emails etc.
I'm curious - why teach about using go hlevel communites and then use skool to do it?

Also the platform doesn't really matter. The process works the same
How does ghl communities compare to skool?
They basically copied Skool lol. There's a few features missing like direct messaging and the Gamification is not fully setup. But they're moving much faster than Skool coming out with features. Skool is pretty stagnant so I think ghl will eventually surpass them.
Gonna be better here soon!
What's your average cost per call with this funnel?
We're not running ads at the moment. All organic
🔥🔥🔥
Thank you:)
Is there a way to make GHL Communities have 3 tiers?
Not currently. We use multiple groups to do this in Skool
