- I hit the ‘Oro Di Napoli’ Pizzeria in Los Cristianos, Tenerife, to discover why this restaurant is very popular with locals who queue outside each night to get in!
This was a mid-week night in January, 2025 so not peak tourist season & within minutes, the whole place was packed!

Thats what i thought Anne. We stayed up the street fron there last year & every night was the same. Service was spot on as well so can highly recommend it. X
It's always full of Italians, which shows you how good it is. Food is amazing and great value. Always book ahead at weekends. Best pizza on the island, possibly ever.
Looks lovely and clean Col ,I don't eat pizza personally,an odd slice from the boss , prefer a Donner myself 😂 and hate doing restaurants but have to go sometimes 😂😂,cheers again
I can remember when that place opened,it's always been busy .Just up from that is restaurant Fortuna nova that does a great value 3 course meal and the food is very nice Col .
Mountain of food looked tasty, the starters looked like a meal in its self,I don't mind a pizza but I'm not to keen on our local domino's pizza they all taste the same very salty the novelty is wearing off.its basically bread with cheap toppings it's a license to print money. Avoid the gluten-free pizza unless you prefer brittle biscuits..your chips col ,would be a portion for two @ domino's near me..

@ Hardly a food reviewer I’ll leave that to the likes of UA-camrs who basically know f*ck all. Has for Carlos ask yourself how many years they’ve been on the island and then think about your comments. I’ll pass your comments onto Amanda at Carlos. Keep vlogging cos you’ve never been Carlos with those comments. Oh and maybe read their reviews on Tripadvisor before making comment about frozen veg. People like you can ruin a business with not an ounce of truth. Stick the DJing
@@Packaging_man Yes bud, pass the comments on as they’re based on the pic you posted - frozen steak-chips & frozen veggies, alongside an overdone steak. With a few chopped herbs lobbed over it to make it look anazing. It’s a shame that so many once-decent places over there now purely trade on reputation & have the same customers from 20-30 years ago, rather than being able to attract new ones. In 20 yrs time, the same will probs be said of the likes of Vegas Grill etc.
I’m deffo sticking with djing for the time being - pays for the trips over.
If you look at my restaurant videos, they’re not ‘reviews’ as such as i’m there in holiday to eat, not to vlog. That said, if a place knowingly serves something awful for a fistful of euros, i’ll gladly say it. Likewise the opposite, if its nice, I’ll say it. These days, businesses - even DJs - should be aware that they are now more open to this kind of exposure. I get slated online all the time for not playing someone’s favourite Abba song. Its what apparently makes me a ‘crap Dj’ 😆😆
FYI -i have been to Carlos but not for many a year but stopped as there’s simply plenty better elsewhere. I’m happy to try it again though & put a video up but if it’s frozen stuff, i’ll be saying it’s frozen stuff. 👍
@ Given there’s no review on Carlos by yours truly since 2015 I’m not sure what you’re referring to. I think you need to do some more research first
@ April ‘24 on your insta bud. Says Amazing meal at Carlos. Looks like a lasagne, steak, frozen chips & veggies & a couple desserts.
Next time i’m over, I’ll pop in & do a video if i think on. I’m rarely over that way though as its not my thing unless its for a boat trip or a jar in Temple bar.
