I know people dump all over this brand but honestly, their stuff is outstanding for the price. I own a couple Eafengrow folders (bought them before ever looking at the EDC or knife scene) and they're _solid._ Great knives.

I seldom comment on these YT videos, many you tubers seldom get to the point. However your videos pretty much get to the point, and your hands on is instructional and entertaining. I have a knife fetish, or so my girlfriend thinks. We live off grid in the Alaska interior, and I always have a knife on me. Especially in fall when Bears are fattening up for winter. I do prefer bigger blades though. I carry small knives for meat preparation. I now own seven eafengrow blades. All seem fine.. and they have not killed my wallet. By the way, Im not a fan of exotic metals. I prefer knives I can dig up cattails, dig out punkwood for charring, and splitting firewood, I've carried a Coldsteel trailmaster for years, and most would never believe the punishment the knife has gone through. Keep up the good work on your videos. I enjoy them.

The thunk sound from throwing, sounds like a very powerful and hard throw. One sturdy and hefty blade here. Thank you.

Great blade geometry and design for it to bite into wood like that as well as good penetration when thrown, very impressive.

Very unique review, but most importantly, informative...:) I like how you pointed out that this knife is sized between a smaller carry knife and a machete. A heavier blade that's not too big but not too small has lots of advantages in the field and for self-defense. Keep up the good work..:)

Just bought 2 from Amazon. The 135 is my next purchase. I’m now addicted to. You can’t beat the price . Especially with this quality. You can complain that it’s made in China but take a look at what you are wearing. Probably dressed in Chinese made clothing. I own a Winkler knife, I feel like I way overpaid when holding an eafengrow. If I broke the Winkler I’d probably have to have a “moment”. With ef , I’d just buy another one. But I don’t think I can break the knife unless I used machinery.

I have the 141, 129 and the 973. I absolutely love their knives. I plan on grabbing the 135 soon as well. I also agree 100% about the whole “tactical fantasy” thing and really it’s not that beyond reasonable to anticipate a scenario in which you’ll need a tactical strategy or advantage. We keep spare tires in our cars, not because we have “race car fantasies” but because we know shit happens. We’d rather have a spare in the trunk or under the bed, than not have one at all. Great video, as always thanks for sharing!

I've been stabbed twice & cut too many times to count. The fact is violence is a reality not a fantasy. Yeah you may get lucky & never have to defend yourself but its those who don't prepare as if they might that have the hugest chance of not walking away afterwards.

Yeah Dan, your channel along with two others I follow give this knife an A+ rating. Hi Daniel, would you consider making a video about quality budget clones of expensive knives? I have often noticed that simply putting the words "tactical", "combat", or even "survival" or "bushcraft" on what are essentially inexpensive, mass-produced hunting/work knives allows companies to inflate the price by at least 5-10 times. For example, the expensive Shivworks clinchpick knife you made a video on a few months ago is essentially a Schrade Old Timer Sharp Finger knife which retails at around $15. I think this could be a popular video as a lot of folks are on tight budgets these days. Even an "inexpensive" Mora companion knife $16 has a highly-rated clone that retails for $4 on BudK.
