This is spectacular. Witnessed it myself for 2 days straight in 2016. Porter is THE best guitar entertainer I've seen, he even found time to talk guitar with my brother and I for half an hour after a set.
I knew Mike Porter McClister in 1981 at Phillips Junior High School and learned that he had some serious musical talent in the late 80's when he would rock house parties in Chapel Hill...but discovering him AGAIN 26 years later after hearing rumors over the years of him rippin up Nashville makes me appreciate Facebook for those long lost reconnections! This video proves I was right! Way to go Mike! Porter McClister W Don Kelley@Roberts Western World..Ghost Riders
Here's a text book example of why so many of the young wannabes out there need to realize that making it in the music business is a miracle..like lightning in a bottle. How many of you have heard of Porter McClister? He's is so incredibly good it isn't funny and yet few know who he is. Steuart Smith--ever heard of him? How about Daryl Stuermer? If you can't write great songs that have mass appeal--your chances are almost nil. Not trying to be mean--but make sure you have some type of vocation or other talent to fall back on.
Thankful for seeing Porter with Don many times at Roberts !

I've noticed quite a few of these hot lead pickers, even ones I know personally, oft' times aren't very supportive rhythm players...
Very Nice, Thanks Stu !! ---- :)
