Correction, even though each booster goes into to a separate booster slot, they do not stack. I tried this earlier this month and did not receive the combined increase. The GM returned to me that they do not stack. 1
I thought they did stack, but the bonuses from both cannot take you above 100% standings increases. Maybe I am wrong then... Well just means Social V is super important.
I actually lost standings to them from shooting them, but because I have the 'Diplomacy' social skill, it actually improves the standings to them to be positive.
Hey suitonia, i hear this term thrown around a lot and I really dont get what it means - what is "percent standings base"?? Ingame the standings show as between -10 and 10. Is 30% equal to 3.0 points of standings? 6.0? Or something else? Cheers
I'll try and explain it the best I can. All Standings gains or losses are % increases or decreases based on your current standings, towards 10.0 if postive, or -10.0 if negative. So if your standings are 0 and you get a 30% standings increase, it would go to 3.00 (30% of 0 to 10, or 30% of 10-your current standings) If your standings are -10, this would be a 6.00 increase, because 30% of -10 to 10 is 6. or 10 - -10 is 20, of which 30% is 6... If your standings are at 5. It would be a 1.5 increase, because 30% of 5 to 10 is 1.5. hopefully this explains it.

silly question but if you have negative faction standings will concord just fuck you whenever you go anywhere near a gate or station?

Max out the DIPLOMACY/SOCIAL skill ASAP. The rest is achieved with an extremely patient REPUTATION grind :D GLHF.
How about pirate NPC in anomaly/ belt/ gate? If I have 5 standing, will they appear blue to me?
