Thank you for the upload :) I'm 6'2" and I like the straight bar look of the factory option 'dragster' handles which apparently are forward on the Scout Bobber. I always had the pegs underneath me when I rode dirt so I can see plain sense in a mid-controls footing posture. Don't see any sense in having feet out forward and doubling my upper body forward ,at the waist, as well. This sort of community spirited upload informs me I'll have to sit on a Scout Bobber and figure out what geometry arrangement suits. Its good to have the research preparation to make a good judgement when the cash decision comes.

Lowes or Home Depot. Tell one of the guys that your aluminum garage door is rattling, and you need a bunch of rubber door seal to press against the garage door and buffer the shaking. the guy should set you up. - C
Rikki, good video as always 🤘🏻. As a Scout owner myself I just installed the OEM reduced reach kit for the controls and it made a difference, not to the point of mid position, but good enough. However if you are interested the other day I test rode a 2018 triumph bobber black, mid controls straight from the factory and it felt like pure love, I may say slightly better than my Scout, Just a heads up. Rock on and keep up the good videos 👊🏻🤘🏻
I went looking at a Scout Sixty set up with Reduced Reach pegs and bars, and the dealer kept pushing me on a regular scout with just a reduced reach seat. The pegs were still far more forward than I was comfortable with and the bars were still a reach. They were trying to talk me out of the reduced reach bars/pegs, and ended up talking me out of their dealership. I'm only 5'3" with a 28" inseam.
godwhomismike: Man that sucks, I am sorry to hear about that negative experience. My local Indian dealership treated me like a king when I bought my bike, don't give up go to another Indian dealership, these are awesome bikes. Trust me the reduced reach controls and handlebars will make the whole difference in the world. Best of luck 👊🏻🍺

I’m curious if these mid controls gave you any extra lean angle. I’m looking at getting mid-controls for my bobber just to get some more lean angle. So I’m curious if your pegs take a lil longer to scrape now.

I been making my rounds on youtube vids of owners of this bike. I hear it is not great for longer rides. Was wondering if some mini ape hangers and possibly some sort of backrest for the driver would make it more relaxing for longer cruises? Any thoughts
Did the Evil empire forward control relocating kit increase the I.S.B's Lean angle? Because you said the new controls raise your legs up and more lean angle is a plus. 🗨️😎👍
So I placed an order for these from Evil Empire designs and haven’t heard back from them with any shipping or tracking information. I’ve emailed, called and left messages but no response. If anyone has any info on contacting them it would be very helpful. I’m really set on these and but considering disputing the charge with my bank.

Someone ought to make cover plates for the frame where the forward controls came off. Just my opinion. Nice job, by the way.

They look a bit too close. Your legs would be right under you, and on such a low bike that might feel uncomfortable.
