your tutorials are great. I think I am in for your course. I randomly used inkscape with your tutorials. I try to make images from photographs for my Silhouette cutter. Now this bird is easy to section in different colors. I want to do a dog and don't know how to organize it into sections.
@Fabianus Anka why would he do it for free? He went to school and paid to learn, so you can as well!
Sometimes you do. Not everyone is born with skills, they practise and pay to learn
I was lost at the very beginning until I looked elsewhere and found out I needed "Create Regular Bezier Path" selected on the top left panel
OMFG!!!!!! THANK YOU! I just spent 2 hours on this and I immediately did it!
yeah i just realized the same thing
You have the perfect balance of being repetitive without sounding too repetitive. Explaining the keybinds each time really helped me. Old but gold
Hi Nick, I really appreciate your videos, especially the GIMP & Inkscape tutorials. Keep up the good work and please don't stop making content.
Greetings from Germany
Thanks! No plans of stopping any time soon.

Another outstanding video by Nick! Learning to use the Bezier tool is challenging but powerful once you master it.
It's so great that you mention the keyboard shortcuts you use. As a total beginner, this is immensly helpful - much more fun to look at a cool parrot picture being made than just hear/read a list of key bindings with no to little context.
You're awesome Nick. Your tutorials are mostly very delicate and time consuming but the quality is top notch. Keep up the good work man.
Thank you so much for this, Nick! I am an absolute newbie and thanks to your tutorials have managed to achieve things I didn't think I could. You are concise and clear and I greatly appreciate your effort and the time you take to share what you know. Thank you, thank you! Kind regards from Colombia, South America!
Thanks so much for this tutorial! I'm making svg files from jpg images for embroidery, and this tutorial was *extremely* helpful. I'm fairly proficient with GIMP, but had never worked with Inkscape until your tutorial. Thank you again.
I think being a good teacher is an incredible skill. You are one of those people who's got it. Your videos are always so well put together and informative, I learn something new every time. There is no other channel on youtube that can hold my attention for 20+ minutes, like yours. Thank you!
Thank you for the feedback! Glad to hear that what I'm doing is effective.
I'm really very much thankful. Nick videos are helping me every day. Now, I myself can create vector, low poly potrait, line art etc after watching his videos. His way of teaching is extremely wow. Please make more videos on Inkscape. Thanks for all your efforts to shape us.😍
Thank you for this. You just helped me out in a big way. I appreciate how well you presented it. Clear. Consice, and just enough detail of information without a bunch of unrelated stuff. Very well done. Thank you again.
Ah! Brilliant tutorial master. Thank you.
This video is EXACTLY what I need all the way down to tracing a tropical bird. Subscribed.
your speed of teaching doesn't matter as long as you tell your audience what you are clicking on your keyboard and thanks for that! Love this Vid! Keep it up!
thank you so much>>>> I am from Egypt and i learned a lot from you>>>>i need Inkscape a lot in my channel>>>>>and your video helped me a lot
I like how you explain so clearly that anyone can follow along. Thanks for that
Just started learning vector graphics using Inkspace and your tutorial came out super handy! Thank you for the amazing content.
Wow! I am very impressed with INKSCAPE as a vector graphics design application. It is exactly what I was hoping as an alternative to Corel Draw, or most any other program, that cost hundreds of dollars to own. I am also very happy with the instructional videos available from logos by nick, and will very likely be purchasing a more in depth training series so that I might finally learn to do the things that I have been wanting to do for a long time. Thanks for the instruction Nick. Kudos to the creators of Inkscape!
The whole time I was like OMG dude just drag down that layer panel! Kind of wish I had watched this first, would have saved me a good few hours figuring the busier tool out. Thanks man.
Amazing tutorial. Everything I ever wanted to know in one video was very informative, short, and well explained! You got my attention there, keep going!
i have been learning inkscape and using the Bezier tool for the last 2 weeks, but I just realised that i did not know how to use the Bezier tool, till I saw this awesome video. this is the first video that i have seen, that shows very clearly how to use the Bezier tool to advantage. Thank you for helping dummies like me. Keep up the good work. i think that this is the best Bezier tool video, that i have seen so far.
This opens up a whole range of ideas. Excellent tutorial.
This video is exactly what I was looking for for my logo project. I appreciate you manifesting it. Very informative and engaging.

Nice. This brings back memories, I used to work at an embroidery shop for a bit and this is how we did some of the work, just using Corel Draw instead.
Thanks, idk how you dont have 10m subs bc you are so good and I can tell you work very hard!
The click and drag does now work on mac!

Great tutorial! The tool was a little confusing at first, but once I got it it was pretty easy! Thank you so much!
This was so helpful. I've had that program on my desktop for so long but every time I try and use it I get frustrated because it's tools are so different than the ones I am accustomed to using. I really appriciate this tutorial.

Thank you Nick this is really useful, i am finally able to create some nice scalable maps.
Pretty cool and smooth tutorial
I'm so glad I found this. I recently had to get a new laptop and install Inkscape and GIMP onto it.
I've been working with Illustrator and Photoshop for years but I am unable to get them right now so I had to find substitute programs to keep working on my digital art. I was recommended GIMP and Inkscape but they're so different than what I'm used to, especially Inkscape, so I was worried!
Thankfully this helped me understand the basics a lot better! I plan on using my old laptop for an art computer at least until I get the hang of these new programs-just hope it holds out long enough! Thank you so much for doing this tutorial!! I gotta keep in mind that sometimes simple is better and not get so hung up on little details!
The parrot looks great by the way! :D
Glad to hear. Inkscape and GIMP are excellent programs for art.
This was a great tutorial, thank you.
I wish I could figure out how to show the object toolbar with the raising and lowering icons...
Pretty good tutorial!!!! I love your tutorials!!!
Now I know what tools to use! Thanks Nick!
I love your work sir thanks a lot , I use both GIMP and Inkscape because they are free resources. Please continue on making content great work :) Greetings from Philippines.

This looks so much better than what the program gets from using the vectorizing algorithms.
This was just awesome! Thanks a lot!
Hi Nick, it's a very good exercise to practice the Bézier tool.
I am so thankful to you for this Video ........for year or more was searching something like this. God Bless you. :)
Thank you so much! It's really nice work!
Thank you SO much. That was wonderfully helpful! Best, M
this was fascinating to watch!
You deserve a thousand of likes!!! Thank you!
Thanks for the tutorial :) I just downloaded Inkscape because Adobe Creative Suite was too expensive so I'm just relearning things the inkscape way (with your help). I'm having trouble recognizing how I should know where to start the next point to work with the pen. Is it just something you choose naturally or do you have any tips when choosing to get the correct curvature?
Fantastic tutorial, thank you
Wow! I like it. Thank you so much for this video😃
