Only a true palm lover can go to such extremes to save a tree/palm considering how much skill and effort is required to actually do that. Hats off to you people and God bless you for such a lovely effort ❤️
I'm relocating a medium sized palm tree and I gave up half way. I watched your video and realized i have nothing to be complaining about haha. Great work!
Thank you.... wasn't sure what i would encounter when moving. Really appreciate it. Glad there is no annoying music or stupid commentary. i already know what a tree is. Bravo
It’s amazing how a 30’ palm tree can have roots that are only 2-3’ long yet they are often times the only things left standing after a hurricane. With such a small root ball you’d think that someone would be able to push them over.
Awesome job!!! Last weekend I took a few smaller palm trees out of the ground and the other weekend I planted them in my backyard. I'm still in pain. LOL
Incredible video. I’m moving three palm trees there 6 ft or so tall and this video was very helpful. The other 14 Palm trees we have are 30ft tall. I’m trying to get ahead before there huge. I planted the first set 15 years ago from just tiny seeds.
I am literally LOL over you using your car, i like it, very inventive and resourceful, you have made my day. thanks. Also You must be very fit, that is a hell of a lot of digging! no need for you to go to the gym! i bought a very small cordyline? cabbage palm when i didn't know much about plants, my 'garden' is only a small patio about 6 feet by 8 feet, and I can only have a few small container plants, when i bought it i didn't know it would grow into a very tall tree, i need to put it into a very large container as I think it is becoming pot bound in the container that it is presently in, i'm trying to search into how to do that and i stumbled across your video. it has just flowered so mama might be having some babies soon.
Awesome work, I’ve a similar project in mind with a tree half that size don’t feel so daunted now. Was the tree strapped somehow for a few months to stop it falling over?

Genius! I have a coconut tree which I want to pull down. But I have a 1 ton mini excavator to make use of. I hope it wll be easier compared to what you have done.
Just found two palms randomly growing at an old fishing spot I had about 12 years ago. Just went back and was walking the trail, boom.... palms.... From where, that's the question ⁉️ 🤔
AMAZING JOB MAN ,!! your job must've been killing you at the end of the day, i have to relocate 2 xmas palm trees and really wondering weather i should do it my self or hire a profesional company WOW!!!
I remove a lot of palm trees in south Florida and we use a B'root Bar root cutting tool. Look for it on Amazon. that tree would have been removed twice as fast. But great job.
I work the same way. People lack vision. I am trying to figure a way to move a tall coconut palm that's on a slope away from the sea wall without heavy equipment and big fees.
Karen everything I do, I think about those guys that raised those monuments with nothing...and I cheated, I used my car. Base on that, We can do anything if we want to.
Italiano92884 three head palm will not roll as easy as mine, but i would use the same concept. I would tie all branches very tight together with straps and extract like i did
@MiaNaomi Post the only thing to consider is the mess that a palm tree produces close to the pool. Also, the root size depends on the palm tree variaty ,
@@fly4fun24 thanks for the tip! I will definitely consider that because I didn’t think about it. I have foxtails too and I think they’re fruit bearing but don’t really know how much of a mess they make just yet. Will continue my research.
Well I followed your advices and my house collapsed into the hole but it was not your fault I did however move the tree first so all is well. GRATITUDE

That’s a different way to think about it. I wouldn’t think it was worth doing all that back breaking work for a palm tree.
Clever
@@EduardoDiaz-zo3rvComo el@ lo dijo es para los amantes de la palmera no para ustedes 😅
Now this video should have way more views, that’s some kick ass ingenuity,I’m a landscaper and that’s using what you have ,bravo
Yes, I have been thinking about raising a tree like this, glad to see it done.

They’re very resilient! They just sway and bend in heavy wind
Palm roots are very long, they just grow outward. Very few root grow downward. Once you cut a ring around it it’s pretty much free.
Palm roots can be a mile long
@@hightide9513 You’re correct but not the Palm Trees in America. Most roots grow to be 2’-3’ long. Thanks
@@DazeOfBudtending Sorry you’re wrong 😑 most Palm roots are 2’-3’ Thanks 👍🏻
You’re a clever fellow. How did the palm react to being moved?
My hat is off. You did amazing work. You are inspirational.
Pretty genius on your multiple techniques, Great job!!!
Wow, i am so impressed with what these guys achieved and what an advert for the car!
i like this video, there's no talking n im getting to see how big palm tree roots are!!

That was awesome. And I thought I was having a problem with a smaller one. This is way harder and he did. It.
Maybe the fast motion makes it look easier

CRAZY HARD WORK , did it survive ??
Me or the tree? The tree yes, me..? Barely
Wow crazy to watch, would u have any recommendations for moving a very thin palm that is joined with 2 more, thin but maybe about 15' high...
Italiano92884 three head palm will not roll as easy as mine, but i would use the same concept. I would tie all branches very tight together with straps and extract like i did
No way I could've done this with any of my trees. Mine are well over 20 feet and massive.
FIRM grasp of physics here. Lol
Nice job!
Well the Red Scion is all twisted up now
So palm roots don’t damage concrete and pools?
No they are very fine as you can see

a little crooked only 1 tip i could give and that would be to use a level to get your trees in as straight as possible
Did the tree survive the move? Im moving a Palm tree today
Cesar Sanchez yes it did. It is healthy and strong.
Thank u for sharing sir
Nice and to the point. Lucky your tree was in sand not clay
What does it cost for a service like this?
i wouldnt do it for any money if it werent for my own home
All that work. Is it worth it?
MrNjama yes , I used that area for driveway through the gate
Is there a guide for hoisting trees this way?
I dont know, but I had to raise it no matter what. That was a way to pull the tree upwards and forward at the same time
What if a storm hits it and it falls on the house
It is so light, it would not do a scratch on the house
Damn kudos to you !!!!
What tools did u use to get it out?
Joe Stal just the shovel and my car.
Where there is a will. There is a way!
How does he work so fast?

How long dod this actually take to remove?
9Am to 6pm around 9h

What's the scientific (or the common) name of this palm tree?
Dharaik

Sadly the tree died 2 months later.
