Brazen Collector is another red creature that offers free mana when you do something you'd be doing anyway. Like Rodeo Pyromancers....

I joined into Wilds of Eldraine... So an interesting standard, to say the least. Surprised with no rotation, etc.
So I decided to make a deck that expanded from the Oldest (Kamigawa) to the Newestn(Wilds) as a testament to this...
Rats.
A Lord Skitter, Braids Arisen Nightmare steal/sac deck using a one of of Mukotai Soul Ripper ( I only had the one copy), a full play set of Okiba reckoner raid, Hopeless nightmare, and more.
By FAR the most effective meta-counter and most fun synergistic deck I have EVER made.
It was so good sometimes I'd log on and get my daily wins before a single loss. Because of Atraxa (witch domain), followed with Gruul dinos in Ixalan and other combo decks....
The combo of Twisted Fealty + Callous Swellsword turn 4
OR
Furnace Reins + Callous Swellsword Turn 3? Devastating.
Nothing is funnier than watching a combo deck perfectly combo off, play squirming emergence off into an Atraxa on turn 3, and rather than them having their combo stopped with spot removal or counter spells...
They just lose the next turn
Hopeless Nightmare + Okiba turn out to deal exactly enough damage for an 8 power Atraxa with a wicked role on it to finish the job.
Tis' a thing of beauty.
TL:DR please build a Rakdos sac deck, I hope you do.
Also worth noting that two of these lizards are OUTLAWS and say "target", like that one that deals one on attack...
So Lizards are likely Rakdos.

Lizards is one of the types im most looking forward to, Jasper Flint was one of my favorite cards from OTJ and with a lot of the lizards being outlaws it should be fun deck to build

BTW I just reread stormsplitter : you sac token at the BEGINNING of the end phase, not end of turn, so there is a window of opportunity at the end of opponent's turn to create a couple copies and then go ham on your turn

27:00 You have to remember that Hearthborn Battler activates for ANY player that plays their second spell. In a 1v1 that could mean up to 4 damage per turn. And you can immediately give it good value by playing something immediately after it, dealing 2 damage because it's your second spell. It also activates all the Expend 4 if you cast a 1 mana spell after it XD
I think Flamecache Gecko could be interesting in slow burn decks! It gives you a body for free, essentially, and allows you to cicle any extra lands into your finishers. Maybe it doesn't make the cut but I could see it being useful!
the site lag is most likely due to ads. As each new ad loads it eats up memory that isn’t cleared and then it starts grinding the page down. This is a typical issue with poorly coded ads. Optimizing ad memory usage is not very important to the ad makers!

52:00 Honestly, gifting a draw seems like a really hard mechanic to evaluate in a vaccuum. There are definitely some 3 health drops in this set (looking at the Valley [word]callers) that I would assume are stronger than my opponent's average draw.
Also yes, Storm is definitely just an old mechanic that WAS broken. Looking forward to the multi-colour reviews.
Expend is actually a completely new mechanic, specifically for Racoons in this set

Sazacap brew is actually good cuz giving the fish is irrelevant if you pump slickshot show-off, it give you a +2 pump plus draw two
war squeak = triggers prowess and valiant for 1 mana. gives haste............ and removes a blocker. i can easily see this being played in either mono red, lizard, otter or mouse tribal.
About "Blooming Blast", i guess it is worth to give your opponent a treasure if you're killing a blocker and dealing damage to face, possibly winning the game before your opponent can really use that treasure.
reached diamond with boros convoke in 3 weeks (started to play mtg:arena 3 weeks ago) because i have no cards and this was the only deck i could afford :D
Idk if I like artist talent tbh, do I really want to spend turns 2-3-4 leveling a class and shocking once for 4 damage in all 3 turns? Sounds too slow.

Blooming Blast + Artist Talent - For 1 Red Mana, you can deal 4 to a creature and 5 to its controller... at the cost of giving them a 1 time mana boost? I have a hard time believing that Blooming Blast is going to be bad.
I've said it the entire spoiler season... Otters seem leagues above any of the other tribes maybe except squirrels.

Expand doesn't matter if you go over, but it only sees mana used for SPELLS, not abilities (otherwise I would be playing all those shitty pay 1 colorless make 1 any color artifacts and basically expand all the time xD)
I have a big question which could make dragonhawk better than it seems : when it says for each of those cards that are still exiled, does it only count cards from this turn, or does it count all cards exiled with dragonhawk since it entered ?? because it could make a huge difference (though I think the body will kill people faster than exiling cards xD)
The only way I could see wildfire howl work is with card that increase damage (like Mechanized Warfare) so it would be 3 + 2. Or maybe in that highnoon deck concept where you don't care opponent drawing cards because you limit them to 1 draw per turn (but I would play that deck in esper to have access to ertai, duelist etc)
Stormsplitter + valleyfloodcaller + convoke (we have a couple good convoke in izzet and there is a battle that gives ALL NON CREATURES convoke) = banana days (tap otters play spells untap them, order so that the copy are spawned before the untap trigger so they get the +1/+1 and after a couple spells Blargh 257 damage)
Flamecache geko : "the 2/2 statline is kinda underwhelimg" Me with my red/black/white delney deck ?? Excuse me ?? Thank god it doesn't have more than 2 power xD. It's the best statline I could ask for something that makes mana with a trigger. the issue is I am losing epicure which means enabling the lizard might be harder (although we could just hit face with delney if they only have big stuff)
hearfire hero into inkeeper talent (that green 2 drop class enchantment that puts a +1/+1 counter on a target creature you control at start of combat) = stonks. I think grull will be more popular than monored because of that 2 drop enabling valliant every turn
I played MtG when Mono-R goblins was meta and you'd easily not get a turn four, or three. Red can't shock me. I'm personally more of a Jund guy.
I don't know how to tell you how to pronounce Agate in text form, but as for what it is, it's a gemstone

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t the point of aggro “win before you run out of cards or you lose?” Why are we giving aggro so much value generation that plugs up its only weakness?
I do understand your idea, but it's no longer how magic works, most becuse removal in general it's way better than before, so if control/mid-range are stronger, u got a way to help agroo to have some gas in order that can compety as well. Sorry for my english, i'm still learning.

I dont wanna hear mono red complaints from someone who is willong to play blue, the "oh, you dont get to play the game" color. Your wife was correct to say she wouldnt date a blue player.
I dont know WHY having a spell countered or bounced feels WORSE than being destroyed...but it does.
