    Hello. Does the amount of charring you did seal the wood enough to hold a liquid?

    Thank you a really interesting video, what did you soak the towels in when burning the inside?

      I soaked the towels in water before applying the blow torch flame to prevent moisture escaping too fast from the barrel and possible crack the timber

      Thanks I thought water but the bottle confused me, I have some oak blanks so will give it a try

      Lovely wee video I have made
      Some nip glasses before, but that’s a nice idea with the barrel was that vinegar and wire wool that you stained the wood with at the start I look forward to turning some wee whiskey barrels 🥃🥃
