@Harrison Drews that, and it was possible that he actually preferred to use a bow and arrow instead of close quarters, which surviving artifacts and depictions showcase (which ones specifically I can’t fully remember, been a long time since I studied the Wars of independence so I could be wrong.)
Imagine these guys flying back to the show's location with these blades. Airline employee: "Sir do you have any weapons?" Contestant:" Ummm...ah...well you see..."
Always wished they would show a close up of, at least some of, the weapons on forged in fire. Some of the swords look like they were crafted really nicely, some not as much, but it’s hard to determine that because they never, or very rarely, show a close up of any of the swords made for the show.
consider that historically, it took smiths weeks to make a sword, and longer if it was a showpiece. They don't do the close up because if they did, you'd see all the polish still left to go on it.

I’m like I want to be that way whenever I lose and just find the good in it but why doesn’t his expression match his mood. I bet he has a great smile too.
James won with a sword taller than he is, short kings everywhere you can rejoice today
Spoiler why dude
Ok, that hurts a little but I’m ok with it
That was a great quench by James. Well thought out.
Fun fact: it is pretty much impossible that Wallace used a claymore or that the "Wallace Sword" belonged to him. Wallace predates the adoption of the claymore by a fairly significant number of years.
They consider BraveHeart Historically accurate so yeH...
The Egyptians built a golden dagger with a meteorite...
This is a comment I can agree with
@@turkay67turkay Yea, Braveheart was a great movie, but it wasn't actually all that historically accurate.
@Harrison Drews that, and it was possible that he actually preferred to use a bow and arrow instead of close quarters, which surviving artifacts and depictions showcase (which ones specifically I can’t fully remember, been a long time since I studied the Wars of independence so I could be wrong.)
Both made beautiful swords but the winner's was on another level of craftsmanship, that thing was perfect!
Where’s the original guy who tells them how much money they win? And what they’re doing? 😒
I think this is from s8 and I think will had a kid or something so he is spending time with family iirc
Ikr just why?
Bruh why family before that
Fork in toaster he’s an ex ranger sure he’s missed enough
exactly
One made a Claymore, the other made a William Wallace sword
That awkward moment when a sword is taller than you...
"Never made a sword of this caliber." So an ex-caliber? 😂
this cracked me up!
Its not even my work but I still held my breath on the strength test
Can someone yell: All cuts are good!! 🤣🤣🤣
This time being little bit heavier didn't matter. It will keeel!!!
Imagine these guys flying back to the show's location with these blades.
Airline employee: "Sir do you have any weapons?"
Contestant:" Ummm...ah...well you see..."
The size of the quench basin alone.
I get the feeling that the dude is so accustomed to his line "IT WILL KEEL." that He lengthens it some more so that it sounds more funny...
I feel like the new host is trying to be Wil.
He cant replace will... just that will has a newborn and family stuff to care for ..he'll be back next season...
Look at that face 8:37 I just wanna hug him :(
3:07 someone forgot to bleep that F bomb
8:55 that "are you kidding me" look though 🤣😂
Always wished they would show a close up of, at least some of, the weapons on forged in fire. Some of the swords look like they were crafted really nicely, some not as much, but it’s hard to determine that because they never, or very rarely, show a close up of any of the swords made for the show.
consider that historically, it took smiths weeks to make a sword, and longer if it was a showpiece. They don't do the close up because if they did, you'd see all the polish still left to go on it.
