  • Adhyayan Suman is receiving rave response for portrayal of Nawab Zorawar Ali Khan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's OTT show HeeraMandi. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble host Aakruti Bagla, the actor shares his experience of working with SLB and how he was initially rejected for the role! Adhyayan also speaks about sharing screen space with dad Shekhar Suman and how he managed to pull off face-off with Manisha Koirala in the series. Reflecting on his 15-year journey, the actor reveals going through major politics in the industry and how despite being 'privileged' getting work is difficult for him. He also shares how our industry weighs popularity over talent and the fact how conversations about his past relationships continues to remain talk of the town and bogs him down.

10:13 I think it was so sweet how Adhyayan quietly listened to his father speak in that interview and I was one of those people who did make a positive comment. Shekhar is an older senior veteran actor who has a lot of life experience and it was his time also to shine and he’s not going to deliberately take away attention from his son. On the contrary Adhyayan came across very mature, patient and said all the right things.

    Hello from USA
This was a very good interview which popped up on my screen thru you tube algorithm . I watched from the beginning till the end without skipping. He speaks really well. Has a very calm demeanor and a very matured way of looking at every situation in his life and articulate it in a positive way.
And this was what we expected as viewers to hear somebody voice their thoughts, opinions views without being interrupted. The host was very good asking the right questions, never interrupting , had a very sweet voice too. Unlike some girls who speak in a high pitched voice, always interrupt and laugh unnecessarily using the fake laugh as a filler. This host was really really good.
Now coming to one point which he made about the last interview saying people are “ unpadh.”. Because I was one of those people who had written ( May be the first one ) that we could not watch the interview because the dad kept interrupting and overriding the son. That was not constructive criticism nor trolling . It was observation and what was irritating about the interview. The problem is if I as a viewer express my opinion stating the fact and the reason ,
I am being silenced because I did not speak in their favor? And it’s perfectly fine to cut someone short, interrupt, not allow them to speak etc ( which would be considered mannerless in other countries ) and that’s ok? There is a quote about this too lol which fits perfectly. So after that interview both are doing interviews separately , each one by themselves lol. Doesn’t that speak volumes?
    Anyway to each it’s own.
But I did enjoy this full interview.
I don’t know how many other interviews he has given but this was the only one which popped on my screen.

I just came across your comments which were strangely both good and idiotic at the same time.On the one hand you are praising Adhyayan to the skies and on the other you are running down his father for interrupting and overriding his son.are you out of your head ?why on earth wd Shekhar do that?Do you have any idea how much he cares and loves his son and what all sacrifices he has made for his son to see him successful and happy?Shekhar is talking more bcoz he is far more experienced and therefore he has so much more to say.Adhyayan respects his father and is totally In awe of him.He enjoys, like the rest of the world, when his father talks and listens to him intently. And i think it is a beautiful interview emotional and balanced.next time be very careful before you open your mouth about a man who is revered and respected the world over for his body of work and the way he has conducted himself with so much dignity over the years. But to be fair and to give the devil his due, thank you so much for saying the nicest and kindest things about adhyayan.
