Man that place looks amazing. Every fish was a stud! Wish the fishin was that good everywhere. This is the kind of video that gets you pumped to go fishing then you go to your local river and are severely disappointed.
They have definately increased the average size of the fish there since I first started going there 30 plus years ago! Awesome! I have had some great days there but I can't say I've ever seen those kind of numbers either! They are taking it to another level there now! Epic! Now the State of Washington needs to watch this, and do this in all the rivers.
All states, need to watch, not just steelhead but other species too.with all these fisherman ,expecting wild fish to take that pressure not possible, ( except Alaska!)
Thanks... now I get to see what I missed. I worked there for a couple of months during steelhead season 20 odd years ago now. Heard about that spot you were at but never got an opportunity to fish it. Now I know what I missed. On the upside, I fished a similar place in Alaska. Had it all to myself.
Even if there weren't any fish in the river, I have no doubt that Jordan would have somehow caught one, but that hole must have been LOADED for Marlin to have also snagged one. 😉 Great episode guys! I can't wait to book a trip with Ryan.
Awesome video. I think I’m addicted to that river now! I’ve never seen anything like that. Great to see the hatcheries working so well. Hope California figures that out someday. I’ll experience it one of these days. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the weight added, seem bigger until weighed...I'm a stats guy so thanx! Inbelievable video men, how great was fishing on a res just down from the hatchetery...very jealous right now!
I have always wanted to fish for steal head, I could go upstate NY, but after watching this, I’m not sure at 66 I am physical fit enough, great job. Fish on.
When the bite was hot and the spinner is caught in the tree and all your plugs are tangled together, my old pitching coach would have said, "your world is spinning out of control!" Great video! A brood stock fish is still a hatchery fish. More hatchery fish means everyone enjoys fishing and if you think hatchery fish are inferior to wild fish you need to get out of your bubble.
You guys were right down the road from me. I'm looking forward to fishing a bit farther north in two weeks. Chromers are gonna be in soon! Keep at it guys!
@@360fishingadventures8 I don't find that sad. That river relies completely on brood stock and the rest of the hatchery fish, thats not a bad thing but id rather fish a river where I have to work hard for a wild Steelhead then fish in the middle of 40 other guys.
Man how bad would it be to be up there setting chokers and logging all day while all these guys are catching steelhead. BTW hearing and seeing how these guys run a hatchery really makes me more pissed how bad Oregon or at least our local hatcheries really are! Weather it's odfw, funding or volunteer numbers and training seems like every year hear ,oops 90 thousand fish killed in hatchery. Sorry for the rant ,great video!
I would absolutely love a chance to go fishing with all of you guys..... I'm a fly fisherman but would gladly change it up for a day or three to be able to fish with ya all!!!!
Coming back and still laughing at Marlin's net job years later. Shooting fish in the barrel boys!!!! Also funny how Marlin refuses to accept that beads work better than anything even WORMS
Fantastic video guys! That is the best steelhead video I have seen yet. Great explanation about killing to fish that wasn't clipped... good job thank you!
Man I love watching this video. This is my 3rd time watching it. I love fishing that hole when it's not packed. It would be awesome if I can take you guys out there to that spot whenever you guys want
A hatchery! haha not hatin good video dudes. The Cedar creek hatchery has had a few fish. but i dont want to stand in a line preferably. But the place your at here looks a little better!
What an amazing video does Ryan Hendrix guide the river? I would be very intrestead in coming up next year this looks like a blast I would love to get out after some steelhead.
Hey man I love fishing and I go anytime. I went couple days ago to a creek nearby this river that's in this video and me and my buddies caught a couple

You would get a whole lot more steelhead if you GOT A CENTERPIN!!!!
You guys ever come to the rouge river
Man that place looks amazing. Every fish was a stud! Wish the fishin was that good everywhere. This is the kind of video that gets you pumped to go fishing then you go to your local river and are severely disappointed.
Ya is be happy to see one fish caught where I am
Tried and true method to untangle lures, shake them a bunch and when that doesn’t work carefully untangle them
Legend has it Ryan’s phone is still ringing to this day.... 😂🤘
Comment of the year
What's the number

William Cooke how come nobody replied to this comment!? That last sentence was money!

Nice river huh lol I'm glad you got to experience my land and get to be around my folks
Nicholas Ibabao what river or tribe is this
It’s beautiful just beautiful
Catching steelhead is a life passion for those who understand the feeling of having those days you will always remember. Tight lines to all....
Never in my life have i seen so many slab steelies caught in one day! Huge thanks for the vids guys!
Its nice to see how a good brood stock program can really improve the fishery. Amazing fish you guys caught!
The rez knows how to run one that’s for sure. I know where they are fishing here and it puts out at least one 25lber every year.
Thanks... now I get to see what I missed. I worked there for a couple of months during steelhead season 20 odd years ago now. Heard about that spot you were at but never got an opportunity to fish it. Now I know what I missed.

Glad somebody is getting into the fish this year cause it sure isn’t me lol
14 years of age here. Born in Washington and dream fish to catch is a nice Steelie! Love what you guys are doing! Tight Lines!
I love fishing Washington Rivers But never fished that river love all your shows I live in Tacoma good fishing guys
Man. Would be awesome to fish that water with a centerpin. Wish we had them that big in lake erie.
I fish erie as well. Mostly Ontario and niagara river for salmon and trout.
Even if there weren't any fish in the river, I have no doubt that Jordan would have somehow caught one, but that hole must have been LOADED for Marlin to have also snagged one. 😉 Great episode guys! I can't wait to book a trip with Ryan.
Lol to be fair I hooked a ton of fish... they just didn't make the cut.
Awesome video. I think I’m addicted to that river now! I’ve never seen anything like that. Great to see the hatcheries working so well. Hope California figures that out someday. I’ll experience it one of these days. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome video! No need to bleep this one! If other systems operated like this, "no river names" wouldn't be a thing.
Happens to me every time I put on a new jig awsome job guys ur my heros
Trophy fish sticks, old man Gorton would be proud!
I have literally watched this video at least 6 times my favorite steelhead video of all time
Man those hatchery guys are awesome I wish many more rivers had fish stocks like that. Thanks for the pictures.
You guys need to come down to the north fork of the coquille or the elk and sixes river in Oregon beautiful river and stud steelhead and salmon
Bucket List!
You can hear the logging high lead going on.
Logging = Lots of steelhead
You guys are definitely set with Mustad, so now it looks like you guys need a signature rod.
You're makin me a believer in those spinners Jordan...rock on bro 😁
Thanks for the weight added, seem bigger until weighed...I'm a stats guy so thanx! Inbelievable video men, how great was fishing on a res just down from the hatchetery...very jealous right now!
Best episode yet! This is sick! Such good proof that what they are doing works! Can’t wait for pt 2!
Wall hanger fish wow!
They they all used be that big glad see still in some local rivers big as salmon
I have always wanted to fish for steal head, I could go upstate NY, but after watching this, I’m not sure at 66 I am physical fit enough, great job. Fish on.
There starting to come in now!

Ricardo Simmonds
Copy!
Used to get fish like that all the time on the Cowlitz and Lewis back in the 80's, all hatchery stock
My tree snags due to excitement are always 100’ feet up the damn tree. I never get my gear back but i add to the the fishermen Christmas tree.
Jordan the Michael Jordan of fishing!the best fisherman ever!!!
Damn crazy. I wish I could hire those guides that's the best steelhead run I've ever seen
Dan M I know where it is I’ll take ya for 200
RiFF RAFF what river is it
RiFF RAFF I would be Down for this? If still available
You guys were right down the road from me. I'm looking forward to fishing a bit farther north in two weeks. Chromers are gonna be in soon! Keep at it guys!
Lmao I've hooked them on that log and had to bear hug that tree and climb down. Love that broodstock program
You guys are killing it!!!🎣🎣🎣
hey guys come down to Trail creek in Michigan City Indiana ......ill put you on fish
I like Jordan’s style, I’m also a big fan of spinners…. I also catch tree fish on occasion too 😂
In a river that size on Vancouver Island we have smaller salmon runs than you have of a steelhead run there.
That's kinda sad. This is on the quinalt river btw.
@@360fishingadventures8 I don't find that sad. That river relies completely on brood stock and the rest of the hatchery fish, thats not a bad thing but id rather fish a river where I have to work hard for a wild Steelhead then fish in the middle of 40 other guys.

I need to come out there and fish with you guys one day

I'm a fly fisherman but would gladly change it up for a day or three to be able to fish with ya all!!!!
That stick fish looked like it was probably a 40 incher. Great video!
Marlin next time dive on it with the net lol
Those fish are hogs. Wish my local hatchery would learn from these guys to keep our runs going strong. Awesome work from you guys.
Coming back and still laughing at Marlin's net job years later. Shooting fish in the barrel boys!!!! Also funny how Marlin refuses to accept that beads work better than anything even WORMS
Beads suck… lol - Marlin
What an amazing steelhead fishery. Almost every single one was a toad!!! Great video once again guys. Keep it up
26:05 Poor Jordan got totally left hangin
Lol whooops!
Phenomenal day! Good to see guys like you out having a good time. Awesome fish, great job.
Fantastic video guys! That is the best steelhead video I have seen yet. Great explanation about killing to fish that wasn't clipped... good job thank you!
