- This is the "First ride" video for my newest little scratchbuilt body, an early 60's Toyopet (Toyota) Stout pickup i recently finished. I built it to be the size of a Tamiya Hilux / TF2 body so its a little smaller than most of my other trucks. That gives it a big wheeled lifted look pretty easily while sitting on this chassis setup from my FC170. It may change in the near future but the bodys all done and i dig it. Way too much snow here for a proper trail ride, but i managed to get a few shots in the driveway to make up this little trip.
Albeit I am a simple hobbyist in the loosest definition, I am humbled by the intricate detail from beginning to end and recognize another artistic achievement from you in this genre. Kudos
Some crazy mad skills on building your bodies. I think that is what I like most about your work is the time and effort you put into making your bodies . Awesome work on the video like always.
The little box of records with the 13FE on the top of the stack. Incredible.

It's weird but the repeating soundtrack worked great for this. Then 4:20 I'm assuming was here for a reason as another person noted.

another cool body!!!!!
very nice work! just needed a bent antenna!
really awesome. love them!
It would be great to hear some sort of narrative. These videos could tell some cool stories with these kind of caracters.
0:07 At first you think it is Headquake's workshop, but then you are skeptical, because there are no elves, or Dreamworks employees, scurrying about...then you notice the floor, and realize this is just a projection of what Headquake's workshop might look like, if what he did was humanely possible.
You are the bomb man that is too cool
Awesome stuff as always. would love to see how you water resist your electronics since everybody always seems to do it differently.
3:25 GTO! Nice video by the way :)
Totally amazing
AMAZING!!!!!!!!
so freaken cool
Awesome as always, I've wondered would those hold up well to bashing? My guess is it wouldn't but still cool.
the 77 Ford is my fav, but this is a close close 2nd lol
First, fantastic as always. I don't see much room for improvement as far as your bodies go: you pretty much have that down to a fine art. It would also be cool to see them running on realistic chassis. Are you basically running most of these trucks on the same chassis? For instance, did this Toyopet ever come from the factory in a 4x4 version? If so, that would be cool to replicate, along with some tires that are closer to those used off-road in Japan in the 60's.
Tolle Bilder, super show - act!!
one of these days your just gonna see a video of a trucking going and then at the end quake will get out, and everyone will be 'O'
Awesome, simply awesome!
Anyway, did I see a '69 GTO under the snow?! :)
Dam I wish I had those skills
Phonologically awesome. Love your work shop. Does the cat ride on any of the RCs?
awesome!!
nice work cant wait for the snow to leave here as well hay what kinda wood have u found best for these builds im working on my own build of an 78 chevy k30 and im currently using pine
Another awesome creation. How long does it take you to make these bodies? Do you use balsa wood or some other kind?
Supper good job man the truck looks sick ... I have always used sheet metle to build my bodys but I think I could do a lot better the way u did it any sugestons or helpfull hints befor I try
Is that a gto buried in the snow? My favorite is still the 77 ford. I'm a die hard ford guy that's why.
love your vids and your hand built bodies.i have now joined scale builders guild....gotta million questions ,like what scale do you normally build in?do you build from pictures only or do you have the real vehicles to measure from?and what is the car under the big pile of snow in your driveway?(pontiac?)
great stuff, all around. i love the choice of vehicles. 1979 Subaru station wagon?
Did you paint the cat? In the previous vids he was orange...
The car is work of art.. amazing!
this shit is way cool, keep it up
hahaha i loved the 13th floor record on the box! but i dont recognize the song on the video, can you tell me what song is?
your side view mirror is on the wrong front fender
Was that a GTO I saw buried under snow?
sorry i take that back about the side mirror.you made her a left hand drive,my bad
Rad!
The three people who gave thumbs down should be bitch slapped.
Another cool video and great work on the truck.
Thanks!
