My bottlenecks are training mats and purple iso.

@@Boilon I think what they need to do is set a challenge through the milestones.
Reward players for spending 400-600 cores per day on energy or something, but give enough purple ISO to make it worth the trade.
Right now I'm just in a holding pattern waiting for ISO. Even if I buy $5 ions I won't have the crystals to use it and if I buy crystals I won't have the ions, and $40 per toon is far too much to invest.
Every ISO L3 requirement node in this event is a demand for $200.... C'mon, get real!!
u would think 6yrs+ in a game this u run out of training mats in a hero collector like most other should be flooded with mats at this point

That's not enough to spend 6 million gold per day on toons so even though there's more gold in the game you can't use it on toons.
They have it completely locked down for F2P and the $$ prices of mats went through the roof about 9 months ago.
They clearly slapped this shit together with no regard
The difference between the sides are insane but the rewards just aren’t worth the effort
They need to take the purple iso requirement off entirely. Most of the player base still don't have Odin and purple iso isn't just readily available like iso blue is. If purple was farmable that would be a different story
Making it purple 2 would make a mountain of difference but regardless the rewards are fucking trash
Ask you Average player how many purple L2 toons they have! Then if they make the requirements for the nodes!

@Boilon purple 2 would make a big difference, but even still. They barely gave us access to purple crystals. I'm currently waiting to start city villain for Odin cuz i don't have any purple crystals. Got a little over a million purple ions tho. But what good does that do me when I can't even use it
I’ve been saying this from the beginning, too. Tf good is an event if most of the players can’t even participate. Its like they’re actively trying to make the game miserable for us.
They need to make purple farm able by the time level increase happens

I wouldn't even say there's a challenge because on the aforce and tech side the whole team goes 3 to 4 turns before my scientist supreme gets to take a single turn, so my whole team is loaded with debuffs and trauma, while their side is loaded with buffs and safeguard. The match last like 10 mins and I'm just sitting there watching them take turn after turn after turn. It's not fun at all.
Yep, since I have not unlocked Odin yet, definitely not spending my purple Iso on A force, especially Ironheart and wasp

I watched 1:03 seconds of this video, and I pretty much agreed right then and there. This is insane. What gets me, though, is you get to a point where the enemy toons are ~180k-250k in power each in few nodes, but the game allows the enemy to take 5, 6, 7, even 8 turns each before you even get the chance to take one turn, which nearly wipes out your team of toons of ~600k-1m power. I literally sit there and have to tap the screen 2 or 3 times so my phone doesn't go to sleep as they're continuing to pound away at my team. There should be no reason a team that low in level should be able to take down another team with that much of a gap in power. It makes zero sense to me.
And! How are they already announcing a new war team when they haven't even released all the members of this new A-Force yet? Nothing they do makes sense to me. It's the policies that relies on preying on the consumer for me, which should absolutely be illegal imo. I just want a good, team based Marvel game. That's it! 😭
I’ve been yelling about this since we first got an inkling they’d require purple isos… they NEVER reward even remotely close to what they take from you to participate in these events.
I haven’t been able to do a single pocket dimension bc I simply can’t come up with the greedy amt of resources they require.
I’ve been so angry about this and I’m getting to the point where I feel like just giving up. 🤬 Scopely and 🤬 their gd holiday season.
Kahhori doesn't get her speed bar block unless she has her full team. It seems like these nodes are designed for her to have that since the ZSW will have hers.
That's fair. I mean everything other than that is usable with just her with War buffs though. But, yeah there's that part that requires the full team.
Keep in mind the full team WILL be released during this event, maybe that's what they're pushing.
12:48 Not breaking any sweats or any appointments to do this event. The problem is the amount of Resources we have to use to do the event no where matches the rewards. Think I might for the 1st time just take one of these events off. It’s the holidays anyway. If I have free time I will do as many nodes as I can w the characters I already have. Not breaking any appointments or any sweat to do this event.

I’m glad I’m not the only one, these rewards are seriously out of touch for how difficult it is.
I have very mixed feelings about them giving away 7 red star characters anymore. Anyone engaged enough to actually beat these events will already have him at 7 red stars. At some point, you get everyone to 7 red, and then whenever a new character is featured, you can open a 7 red star orb, get the new character to 7 red star, and move on.
The 3 diamond SS is great. Wish I hadnt just upgraded her to 2 diamonds yesterday, but it is what it is.
Naw 3D SS is trash she doesn’t need it. The rewards for how difficult it is just doesn’t match at all

MSF rewards are completely out of touch with the primary group of essentially end game players. They promised more "meaningful engagement" and instead you could just hoard energy and skip passes and events and upgrade nothing from Orchis onwards and you'd probably be ahead (except in war that doesn't matter)

So much of this could be fixed if they add rotating specific purple iso crystals to snow globes like they did on the first shop after their introduction. It would give us a much better roster and give people the DD8 push that usually happens after 8-10k people already finished a DD.

I don’t think that this is an overreaction at all. I was considering delaying my DD8 run to clear this but no way in hell am I going to sink purple iso 3 into toons that won’t allow me to clear it. 3 RS absolute at g19 purple iso 3 will have a tough time.
Thoughtful game design can only be done with consideration. They clearly gave that up after the Nova/BC/GGC trial cycle imo.

Bottlenecks the same material that they have cutoff in the BW store , then requires the same exact shit you CANT get , to get rewards you dont care about..

This pretty much sums it up honestly. The rewards are very out of touch, same with the requirements.
I got absolutely wrecked on the Absolute A force Normal 3 node. The speed of the bots is so high that I can’t even get attacks off. I’m using a 3m Hank pym, kestrel, gg classic, Penni and Kang team. Definitely need full orchis team synergy to clear node.
And a partridge in a pear tree!

I’m pre-Odin. Within less than a minute into this video I knew to stay the course and continue towards Odin. This event is pure garbage 🗑️

The 2 mephs aren't actually that much of a problem. It's the war toons, giving you x2 slow, x2 ability block, stuns and trauma. It's awesome.

It’s ok to skip these events once in a while. The resources we get is not worth the resources most of us will spend to complete it. You end w less ions for example than before you build for just this event.
Teal gear at this point is crazy, nobody endgame needs that, and they already load every milestone event with teal gear orbs.... special events like this that are more endgame focused should be crimson.
The rewards are like 10% of last dimension

But comparably to what we get in the event stores now these rewards are seriously out of touch for the effort and challenge

Yeah. If they have better rewards like armoury 19 orbs and crimson gear orbs. But also the half unlock of Miss Marvel Classic.

Nah, the obscene difficulty IS a problem because they're also doing the Cataclysm event. You don't do two events aimed exclusively at the sweatiest top end players at the same time, especially not during Christmas time when people are busy with more important things than a mobile game.
FYI, i couldn't start DD6 yet ( super skrull ) so yeah i'm way behind.

Btw, I think we know now why frozen dimension had a 2 day cool down. They didn't remove the rewards from multiple runs. I'm on my 4th run (won't be able to finish) but you can still get rewards on each node. So they kept the fuck up from last time, bit added the cool down so players couldn't get the rewards over and over and over

I'm a couple of days from unlocking Odin but I am not going to waste my purple iso on this frozen mess. Scopely is the only company I have ever known who seems to basically dislike its customers and seems to go out of their way to make you hate them. I will play it until it gets to the sections which require me to put purple iso on new characters.
The A-Force section is just ridiculous. They take 15-20 turns before I get 1
I think there is no 2 sides to this dimension. There is an arrow from the last node on the left side to going down to the right bottom. I completely agree that the rewards are just not worth it. Specially for an event that comes to game once every 2-3 months. The rewards must be rewarding. It is extremely meaningless to ask the player base to take a very new toon to t3 L3 without literally giving any meaningful rewards. For example, for this late blog post of this requiring t3 l3 iso on an absolute a force toon; 5-10 nodes on this should have some serious amounts of t3 ions and t3 isos. The training mats you get from the entire frozen dimension, doesn't cover 20 percent of 1 character leveling up to 100. Complete nonsense. Great video mate!
Kahori is amazing in Dark dimension helped me get through dd8 and dd7 quick dd8 in 12 hours and dd7 in 3 hours

I bet they have an extremely easier version of this pocket dimension waiting to be released after some player outrage. I highly doubt that any new AA force lower than 5 stars can handle these nodes.

It sounds like there is a difference between an engaging event and a rewarding event. This one sounds very engaging. I'm excited to try it. But it won't be rewarding. So I don't see me using resources to build anyone specifically for it.
Im at the final 3 nodes to unlock Odin but i need 846k purple Ions to do it. There is just no way ill be able to complete this even if they lowered it to level 2 instead of 3.
2 is still better than 3 but yes you should absolutely do Odin first
Also. People are not realizing. It's not tech characters you can use. It's ONLY TWO tech characters with THREE absolute a-force characters

It's just a Holiday thank you to the Whales.... There is nothing for them to Flex on in the game right now... they all have Odin & 3 star Kahhori. PS Marvel Rivals is a lot of fun are you playing it?
Naw rivals isn’t my thing but I know it’s quite popular. Just not my game genre I’m more of an RPG, strategy , turn based kind of guy :) I’m more methodical!

Unless they update the rewards/remove t he ISO 3 requirements I'm just going to ignore Frozen Dimension completely since it's not worth the entry cost, Orchis shards be damned.
Sadly, as long as what is created is money motivated and the love for creating an engaging and enjoyable game (characters not doing what they're suppose to do, bugs, etc.) is lost; then this perhaps is what we can continue to expect. 😓

I wouldn’t say everyone asked for it. So there’s a difference between the piss easy auto PD and what we have here. Scopley is inept at balancing content. I hope cataclysm is a step in the right direction but we’ll see later this week
@Boilon all I'm trying to say is that everyone was saying how they wanted harder nodes and event's. That the game was to easy well we get this ridiculous event and still no one's satisfied.
The rewards aren't worth the investment needed to clear these nodes. That's the issue.
The last pocket dimension made the investment into the characters worth it because you made that investment back and then some. There's no reason to stop what you're doing to try and clear this frozen dimension if you don't already have the characters built up.
Why would I spend purple iso on Aforce if it's going to give me less purple iso than it takes to clear the content? They need to 10x the purple iso rewards. I don't have purple iso on orchis yet, but I have it all sitting there ready to apply at the cost of stopping Odin progression. It is only worth doing if I make back all the purple iso i spent on Orchis.

We are getting 3 million first run and 5 million after the 48 hours second run. The snow globes are 50k each and they were better off just giving us the 3 million for these because no one who is F2P will spend 3 million on 50k snow globes. i don't buy these at all as you get them for free just by doing the content or playing normally. Why are the devs holding back on gold is beyond me. having gold won't stop us from playing their video game
It’s probably this way because big spenders complain that there is no hard content and the stuff they put out is way too easy
8:21 I don’t know if you willfully did not emphasize this part or did not spend much time giving it more importance but it’s big. And reason it takes the task from impossible to just challenging. Maybe all those other difficult characters you emphasized earlier also have lower abilities that make them less scary than face value.
All the enemies have 20% damage reduction. And in many instances have 2.5x damage. Each node is different but nonetheless it’s still insane. The mythic a characters on the last node have their passive dumbed down a bit but realistically they want you to have the new characters here. And the purple 3 requirement is still out of touch for the overall rewards

needs 3d Medusa. the others gave better diamonds. needs more purple in the earlier nodes to get people to purple 3. you don't even get a best 24 orb, and you can't get fragments anywhere.

The milestones payouts are garbage, leader boards for the most part suck too, passes are lack luster, permanent game modes are outdated, new game modes suck (Batleworld), in game stores are trash & crazy outdated, the offers are waaaaaaaay over priced... I could list another 20 things wrong with the game rn, thats sad 🤦💯..
Also Its been well over a year since he's been in game, we're gonna get GTA 7 b4 Zuggs is farmable 🤣🤣..
Im annoyed that it require aaforce i dont have them/build them like do more of these event but make the requirements more forgiving

@@gungarekTech is for the early and final nodes, which is possible if you used S6 or Orchis in DD8.
However, unless you've done 3 legendaries to Purple 3 (and let's be real, the only one worth it is OML) and 5 mythics (which definitely isn't happening unless you've already got Odin), you're gonna need at least 1 Absolute A-Force to Purple 3.
I've got Odin and 4M ions in storage, so I have the ability to do that if I feel like it, but anyone that's not already done with DD8 is probably not realistically finishing this unless they're using 2 or more Absolute A-Force. And with how luxury the rewards are, this is definitely a check of "Do you already have Odin?"

People who pay to play don’t need the rewards, they can just buy them. They need the challenge.
Not sure if you mentioned it, but there's also a 48 hour cooldown between runs. So subtract 2 days from how long we have.

I pay good money for the character releases, to save me having to spend massive amounts of time on the game, and expect that I should be able to auto my way through the events and claim the rewards. If envoys want to restart node after node after node for a perfect run, then let them do that for bragging rights, rare costumes, and special frames, but make the rewards a walkthrough for people that support this game.

This happened because Krakens pay to make the game easy then cry because the game is too easy and they're bored. Scopely then decides to make a game mode only mega krakens can finish and nobody else lol. Thx for yet another example of how krakens ruined the game for everyone

The only thing i disagree with the rewards are people who choose to do the abosolute a force side should get better rewards then those who do annihilators
But you can’t choose which side to do you have to do both? Like if you can’t do both you can’t clear PD
That would be a great thing to implement in game. Rewards based off of which you use. The new feature team gives better rewards or a much weaker team could also give better rewards than over powering with meta toons.
As someone with a 3 diamond Kahori and a 1 diamond MMC bring it on what are the leaderboard rewards is what I want to know

While I like engaging events, I'm not going to spend the amount of time necessary to beat this, which I believe I could, for a bunch of rewards that honestly don't matter for the people that can beat it. They may as well reward us with green gear.
