That's a stereotype though. If your bi and you are a woman dating a woman you're still bi. If you then go and date a man you are still bi. You don't just stop becoming attracted to both genders just because you're dating one. For an simile, if you were attracted to people of all hair colors and date a blonde person you don't just stop becoming attracted to brunettes. This is the exact type of misconception that bi people are working to dismantle. For a real life instance, Stephanie Beatriz is bi and marries to a man. She's not straight just because she married a guy.
@@Lex-jj7hb I'm not really trying to be insulting, I just mean we don't see Rosa dating men anymore. If she said she was more attracted to girls, I would understand, but it makes it seem like she's supposed to be attracted to both equally. I just sort of wish that they still had her date some men too, since Rosa's love life is seen on camera more in the latest seasons
@@bradleybarnett1469 I know you're not intentionally trying to be insulting, I'm just saying this is a pet peeve of bi people. Because if bi people date the opposite gender a few times in a row people will try and tell them they're straight when they aren't but if they date the same gender a few times people will try and tell them they're gay. If you're bi, you don't usually end up dating men and women exactly 50/50, you date wherever you click with. Rosa has had long relationships on screen with Marcus, Pimento, and Jocelyn. She's referenced dating other men (tom) and women (alicia, aubrey). All of the early season where her exclusively dating men and almost marrying one of them, so the writers are exploring her attraction to women as well. But even so she's still had a lot more episodes where a boyfriend has made an actual appearance than a girlfriend has shown up on screen. Bi people don't need to date a different gender each time to remain attracted to both. They just remain attracted and date whoever clicks with them, if that ends up being 80% men or 80% women than that's how it turns out. Her and Jocelyn broke up anyway so she may end up dating a man next or a woman, whatever writers think would work.
To play devils advocate im newly out as bi and im really happy im dating a guy it just helps with a lot of the imposter syndrome that comes from a life of being expected to be straight shes lived so much of her life in the closet and she almost got married its not a huge jump to thinl she might be “making up for loss time” (as much as that over simplifies it)
Why does she want more representation for the LGBTQ, when she married a man?. If my wife wanted more of this, I would say, why are you married to me, as a man.
her being married to a man doesn't have anything to do with wanting more representation. Before she was in that relationship she was bi, in her relationship she's still bi, and (god forbid) if she gets out of her current relationship she will still be bi. Just because she is married to a man does not mean she is not still apart of the LGBTQIA+ community and being apart of such community it is normal to want to spread awareness. And even if she wasn't apart of the community as a good ally it is ALWAYS important to spread awareness. I am a non binary lesbian, and even with her being married to a man i still choose to acknowledge her presence within the LGBTQIA+ community bc there is not one concrete way that you have to be to be apart of it.
@@nemiahava3681 naw, it feels weird to be in that position tbh, as a man, knowing that your wife is still putting herself out there like that, is uncomfortable for a guy, you wouldn't know because your a female, men and women are very different, and majority of women in modern society think we are the same, which is funny tbh.
Khalil i feel like your whole issue is that you have fragile masculinity because that's what it's sounding like from this standpoint. because as a man you can still be an ally with your bisexual wife, it's not weird to stand in solidarity. As a black person if i were to marry someone white even if my partner can't identify with me and my issues i would sure as hell want them to stand in solidarity because we are a unit. So respectfully get some therapy work on your masculinity issues and internalized misogyny and homophobia then we can talk
@@nemiahava3681 first off, like I said, your a woman, and you wouldn't understand, tell me, do you think we are equal? Men find happiness in success and providing.
Khalil dude i can't argue with ignorant people it takes too much time out of my day. i'll keep your future wife in my thoughts (especially if she's on the lgbt spectrum, or has literally any morals, or supports anything that you don't identify with)
Stephanie Beatriz seems very intelligent and I really like her personality. :)
She helped me realize I was lesbian
Wow she’s so pretty and her voice just AHHHHHH😩😩😫😫❤️❤️❤️
Omg i just love her
Love love love and I love that on the fosters spin-off good trouble there’s a male bisexual as a main character!!!
Stephanie Beatriz is a new worldwide fan favorite actress and she is definitely
My new fan favorite for Disney’s Encanto
love ❤
My comedy is jackass and impractical jokers they are two of my most favorite comedies
the problem is once the representation started getting heavy handed the show started sucking because they made that the crux of the show
See, ok, her being bi is alright. I didn't expect it but its ok. Its just that now ALL she dates are women, so she is seeming more lesbian now than bi
