1.To be apart of something bigger then themselves (to feel important) 2.The action element of shooting and all the “exciting” stuff the kids/teens see on video games 3.To get away from mundane life
Because they have mad propaghanda that targets young people. And when you look at the problems young men in the west face today its easy for them to be manipulated. In their minds they believe what theyre being told and thats why they go. Still stupid but i feel bad for young people who get brainwashed because its hard to say it is their fault when their country is failing them and then they get hit with propaghanda and thats just how it works unfortunately also back then isis were putting a lot into recruiting people with online videos showing a perfect world etc like i said it was all bullshit but i understand how some people could be manipulated or easily brainwashed.
What a fool he wasted his own life and hurt his mom for what?! Paradise? As a Muslim if going to Paradise was all about killing people and becoming a terrorist I would surely choose hell over paradise but I'm sure that Islam does not tell anybody to do such thing and if it does I wouldn't be following it, this poor kid was just brainwashed into believing lies that were made by smart people and being smart doesn't make a you good person it's about how you use your knowledge that determines what type of a person you are
we make decisions and our decisions define what we are, our decisions have consequences and we deserve it . He made a decision to join ISIS and he deserved the consequences.
Amazing woman. All my heartfelt respect to her. Give her a break about her sons wrongdoings. They both paid the ultimate price for it. Think what you wanna think about her son, but spare her. She's now doing great work to prevent this from happening to other sons and daughters. What are we doing? God Bless!
It’s so sad how so many young people are brainwashed to go join isis and he had his whole life ahead of him. I feel so sorry for the mother, I can’t imagine the amount pain she had and is going through
Parents need to understand there is only so much they can do. At the end of the day your child has their own mind and they are their own person and you cannot control who they become. Your influence is only just an influence but they make their decisions and have their own personalities. At the end of the day even if you would have caught it early there is absolutely nothing you could have done to change their choices and decisions as they have their own free will. Look at the general population, they are gullible and often lost/weak minded and that may sound harsh but what makes your child different to the rest? If humans were so strong minded this would not even be a thing, cults wouldn't be a thing but unfortunately a good number of people are indeed very susceptible to being brainwashed, no matter how well you raised your child does not mean they wont make stupid decisions and that is the harsh reality.
ISIS are criminals and stupid islam is a peace religion , all muslims reject terrorism they act like they are muslims , but they will just go to the hell , they don't know anything about islam it's mostly their fault that islamophobia exist.
I'm very very sorry you lost your son. I don't doubt that he was a wonderful kid. Teenage years can be extremely trying with the decisions our young ones make. Some join rock bands, some move to Hawaii to surf. He was probably driven by same desire for adventure not really realizing what he was getting into. Only God knows but he is in a better place now than alive among the monsters. Death is not the worst thing that can happen to us.
If I did such a thing ( which I never will , because I have logical thinking) , my parents would disown me because this is not what your parents bring u up to do. You r supposed to Know what's right and wrong. U have a brain for a reason. U can't blame the parents here at all.
Yeah they don't know anything about islam islam is a peace religion , all muslims reject terrorism they act like they are muslims , but they will just go to the hell it's mostly their fault that islamophobia exist.
There is a no word for s parent who lost their child. The last sentence that - how dare you to take such wonderful boy and recruit for yourself hits differently. He was child. That age is easily manipulative. Still end results we can't argue on it. Filled up with lot of sorrow smd regret
I knew you, in my eyes you were a boy who I spoke with many times, a kind boy, a well behaved boy. I knew your father, he was a kind and gentle man. I spoke to you about your future (apprenticeships in electrical engineering). If only I knew back then, this would happen. I was the adult. I could have stopped this.
I feel bad for all the parents who lost sons & daughters to Isis. But especially the ones who had no idea that their kid was even thinking about it. My good friend lost her eldest son to murder by a thug gang banger. He felt "disrespected" so he murdered her son on his 21st birthday. The grief she felt was palpable. But to not get a body back? I can't begin to understand that level of grief.
ISIS are criminals and stupid islam is a peace religion , all muslims reject terrorism they act like they are muslims , but they will just go to the hell , they don't know anything about islam it's mostly their fault that islamophobia exist.
I feel so bad for his mother but not for him, he was a stupid shit and knew what he was doing even brainwashed so great he got killed before killing someone
I wish they had wiped out all the radical content right when it came out. They messed up so many families in the west. These people don't need to have a platform to seduce kids. I feel bad for the families.
ISIS knows young people will do anything with the promise of attention, clout, likes, and money. Sorry she lost her only son that is devastating, I too only one son he's over 30 and I'm happy he is still here safe with me.
I'm sorry for what happened to your son..may Allah help this strong mother..so sad that this boy was brainwashed..may Allah guide us all to the right path ya rab 🙏
So sad for the family..this boy was obviously brainwashed
may it be either he returned home without hurting anyone , or may be die before hurting anyone
Or he was just in a "rebel" age, he just wanted something new, some "action". Probably he just wanted to be a part of something bigger.
Zak Ford yeah he was :(
So sad
@@kopernikuspolackus5148 i don't think so, he's grow in a loving caring family and its obvious that he knew isis isn't "good"
I don’t understand why anyone would want to join Isis
theyre sold a life better then their current one
1.To be apart of something bigger then themselves (to feel important)
2.The action element of shooting and all the “exciting” stuff the kids/teens see on video games
3.To get away from mundane life

What a strong woman!! All my respect to her!
Absolutely horrific. Young kids always can be brainwashed. Praying for his mother because she needs to live with this for rest of her life.
The heart of a mother...... what a beautiful thing.....
we make decisions and our decisions define what we are, our decisions have consequences and we deserve it . He made a decision to join ISIS and he deserved the consequences.
A&M yes absolutely but his mother and loved ones didn't deserve it so show just a little respect
He did his best. He deserved it indeed but also the other team deserve what is happening in those countries too.
Agreed 100% To do something that dumb, there's no way he thought he was coming back alive. The sad part is that his death was completely pointless...
A terrorist is a terrorist period
No different from joining the military. The man picked his battle.
This was so painful to watch... Ppl plz keep kids close and keep an eye on them... They should listen to parents most period!
what a strong woman she is indeed...it takes a shit load of courage

Holy fuck this is so depressing
The text messages broke my heart :(?
Why the f**k do young ppl think isis is trendy?
I'm very very sorry you lost your son. I don't doubt that he was a wonderful kid. Teenage years can be extremely trying with the decisions our young ones make. Some join rock bands, some move to Hawaii to surf. He was

I offer my condolences. He doesn't seem to be a bad person but sometimes the good also do the wrong.

Wow! I am in awe of her strength and the grace she approached all of this heartache with.
This so heartbreaking. He would have a better life ahead of him with his beautiful family..
He seemed like honestly a nice and loving teenage boy. Proud of the mom for speaking out about this. rip
I'm not Muslim but knowing my people getting killed by isis every day, this saddens me. she must be in pain.. God bless her
Yeah they don't know anything about islam
islam is a peace religion , all muslims reject terrorism
they act like they are muslims , but they will just go to the hell

She make me cry, i wish Allah will forgive him, Allah bless Nicola and her family

Nothing hurt as much as when somebody hurt your child.....
Truly sorry for her.
I knew you, in my eyes you were a boy who I spoke with many times, a kind boy, a well behaved boy. I knew your father, he was a kind and gentle man. At one point he did realised what he did was wrong

Salute to this mother.
He has a great mother. May God bless her soul.
What an absolute tragedy.
Thats why kids need to actually know the news and war like me. I am 13

He's probably dead or being treated very badly foreign entities of other ethic demographics can be very dangerous to join smh rip probably
Roach DawgLoko You clearly didn't watch the video, his parents got a call from someone to say he was killed in a drone strike. 🤦
He died she said he was hit by a drone in 2015..
Live by the sword I’m afraid
I feel so bad for his mother but not for him, he was a stupid shit and knew what he was doing even brainwashed so great he got killed before killing someone
