Bleach has the most influence since dbz on new gen anime...that's why it's big 3(plus the sales)
Bleach is in quite similar to Jojo. Arguably the most influencial among its trio (Dragon Ball and Hokuto no Ken being the other 2 for Jojo), it was "the forgotten one" for years until its popularity sqkyrocketed again due to a new anime adaptation.

Yhwach's motivation was explained in the last cour. He feels the pain of every Quincy once they die and return to him as he's the father of all Quincies. Yhwach knows the world before this had no life and death concept meaning he wants to destroy the current setup of the worlds and return it to one as it was before.
It was hinted last cour but not revealed yet
Part 1 was the Blood Warfare test run introduction
Part 2 was the consistent development payback in blood of Separation
Part 3 is the revelations & Twists of Conflict redefining everything we know.

The callback parallel to Aizen & Kisuke’s final conversation when he was getting sealed back in Ep 309 about the Soul King and what Ichibe tells Ichigo at the end of this episode is hauntingly & poetically phenomenal.
And here comes Yhwach who just decides to flip the script and chess board knocking the table out of the way to return the world saw it once was as one.
Now while A = Almighty, remember Uryu also has the same Schrift (Letter) of power that Yhwach does, so more on that later on the name of it when it’s revealed.
What he did switching Senjumaru’s fabric threads onto her look like what Itachi did to Kurenai with his Tsukuyomi in Naruto, not to mention it’s a also callback to when he one shotted Mayuri and his bankai in Ep 44 back in the soul society arc.
Lastly Fun Fact: Ichibe’s Futen Taisatsuryō which translates to ‘Slaughterous Mausoleum of Halted Reincarnation’ is what directly inspired Sakuna’s Malevolent shrine and it’s not even a Bankai which have generally inspired domain expansions. Bleach is something else….

yhwach basically feels every quincy’s fear of death when the quincy’s die and return to him he feels all of their feelings when they die that’s his motive in killing the soul king cause he believes it’s the soul kings fault that death exists and is genuinely disgusted on what the soul king is right now

Your reactions are always so much fun to watch! I've been waiting for years since I read this arc in the manga, and a good portion of this episode is new anime-only expansion of the original story. Everything to do with Senjumaru's bankai and Uryu's role in defeating her is new, and it's so satisfying to watch. But seeing you two react to it completes the experience for me! It's going to be a good two months.

If you recall in the prior season, there was a flashback (new material not depicted in the manga) where Osho and Yhwack were in a 'diplomatic meeting' in Yhwacks empire 1000 years ago.
When the meeting broke down into conflict, Yhwack's multi-pupil eyes were 'sealed' by Osho. This prevented him from using his "The Almighty" during the war with the Shinigami that followed and allowed him to be defeated and 'killed'.
Theory-ish:
It seems that either the act of dying or his process of resurrection caused that 'seal' to be removed. 9 years ago, he activated his Auswahlen to sacrifice 'impure' Quincy to re-establish his power, but "The Almighty" needed 9 years to stabilize before he could control it.
You're right. Ichibe used the hand of the Soul King to seal off the power of the Almighty "until Yhwach died." His death (and return to life after 900 years) was a necessary part of Yhwach's strategy to restore his full power. It also served as a diversion for his surviving forces to infiltrate the shadows of Soul Society, where they waited 1000 years for Yhwach to recover and lead them in the final battle.
Yhwach want to take soul king position and merge the 3 worlds into one so there is no death or birth..plus soul king being limbless is because soul king was betrayed by squad zero..so they become main in power..and yhwach hate that😊
All realms in Bleach were once one whole until they were separated into the Living World, Soul Society, and Hueco Mundo. This separation also caused the cycle of life and death to begin. Ichibei told this to Yhwach last Cour during the flashback in episode 24. Yhwach feels the emotions of the souls he absorbs, the pain and fear of the dying. So, he decided to destroy the Soul King to break the cycle of death so that people won't feel that fear and pain.
Unfortunately, in order for Yhwach to remake the world, he fist has to destroy the current one.

A power basically has to be so strong that there's no future where ywach beats it, for it to be able to beat him. Ichibes power? There was a future possibility where he beats that, therefore he never loses to it

@dweller132 I mean, from what we know ichigos bankai does neither of those, but ywach with the almighty saw that if he didn't immediately destroy it before ichigo got to use it, there was no future where he survived it, but who knows maybe the anime will actually show us what ichigos true bankai does
@@Fatalbeast22 Yeah, there's like a few things that the Almighty can't really do much about. I actually kinda wonder if the Irazusando ritual they put Ichigo through is meant to also give reason to why the Almighty doesn't work with his bankai.
@dweller132 well that trial is more a test, to see if someone is capable of handling the soul kings power, ichigo by completing it is shown to be able to fully control ir, while ywach when he takes it, can't fully control it and it leaks out of him, that's what the black ooze and eyes means
in the start of the war, in a flashback with ichibei, Yhawach says that he wants to end the fear of death and the sufer in the 3 worlds.
So from what we are told this episode his power can:
1. See the future
2. Powers/abilities he sees & Knowns are unable to harm and kill him

A little context for the recap:
Not only its welcomed because well, it's been over a year since the abrupt ending of Ichibei fight, this was supposed to be the actual ending of last cour.
And more of a cool touch, the recap lasted long enough for Yhwach to awake the Almighty at the 9 minute mark of the episode, and y'know, Quincy folklore loves number 9.

You probably forgot since it was a long while ago, but The Almighty actually got (much needed) foreshadowing in Cour 2.
When Juha and Ichibei met in the past he gained the dual pupil and said "I see everything", and Ichibei himself even said "those eyes are trouble" and sealed him, trading a piece of Soul King in the process. As we can now see, the reason the Quincies lost to Gotei 13 a thousand years ago was because Juha didn't have The Almighty, if he did the war would have ended day one.
Ichibei prophesied that "Your eyes will remain closed until the day you die." This ended up coming true, as Juha died without his schrift...but he got it back when he resurrected. As for why he spent half the fight without it, remember that he advanced the invasion by a few days because Ichigo went to Hueco Mundo and he wanted to capitalize on this opening. Had the invasion (and second invasion) launched on time he would have had it the whole time, it's actually pretty clever.
This leaves the question of where soul king's arm ended up since Juha isn't being restrained by it, but that will be revealed in due time.

calling yhwach Jesus is more accurate than you think. kube isnt afraid of using religous inspiration. Yhwach is the son of the soul king (this world's God) and is heavily inspired in Yeshua(jesus). Plus he whole Quincy cross thing and 'almighty' and other references. Its not obvious or important but its pretty cool lol
You could also add that Yhwach died, was resurrected and ascended into "heaven" (the royal realm) but there the analogy breaks.
18:10 the world was once 1 the soul king split it into 3, those being our normal universe (the world of the living) hueco Mundo, and the soul society. Ywach wants to rejoin them all into 1 but he first has to destroy them in order to do that, this was explained last season

the very first thing shunsui decides to do when he realizes the soul king is dying is go to muken prison and see the god/satan himself at the cost of shunsui's own safety and well being kuz he hates all the soul society if you remember back in cour yhwach tried to get him on the quincy side as a one man special military force of the quincy even tho yhwach wants him ded more than anyone as hes confirmed in cour1 to be a special threat to yhwach and yhwach knew for a fact aizen would never ally himself with the quincy even before going to see him but hwach NEEDED to ask him anyways
despite everything Aizen did to all them including shunsui himself he knows what aizen's goal is yet the very first thing he does is go to him when theres no hope left the soul society after feeling senjumarus bankai disappear is in full panic mode also i assume
