No bro. Thyroid and obesity complicated cases diet wont work. Even im suffering with that. The actual reason is, in some peoples body metabolism, calories are dependent on hormones. Calorie burn happens only when happy hormones secretion takes place(for some ppl). Doctors often suggest to travel and meditate so that we becone free. Diet also plays a key role but not in all metabolisms
