I've loved this song ever since it came out, and I will always feel it deep in my soul when I hear it. I listen to it whenever humanity seems too disgusting and despicable to bear. When there are people out there who do such horrible things I wonder if it's worth it trying to save them. Then I let this song take hold and remind me that this despair is what makes us beautiful. The fact that we can have hope, that we can love others and ourselves, that we can light a spark in even the darkest night gives me reason to live on again. I want to help others, knowing that we're broken. I want to be helped, knowing that I'm flawed. This spiteful, enduring compassion is what makes us worth it. I need to be reminded of that.
This may be the cheesiest comment I've ever written but if there's any song that deverses it I feel it's this one.

Justin and the band remodeled our kitchen 6 years ago. He shared his story with me and gave me their cd. They has been my favorite artists and I have been rocking them load through Tacoma,WA ever since. He put in a lot of free hours above his quote to make sure every thing worked great in our kitchen. He puts his life into his songs and every song speaks loudly. My whole family loves them. Go listen to his older songs too. Proud of you Justin!
I realized something. A lot of us feel like we are to broken or imperfect to be worthy of Gods love. But the truth is, when we fall apart, and when we are broken it allows Gods love and light to shine through us. So it is beautiful the way we fall apart because it allows us to pour into others life. Also, if we never went through anything rough, if we never fall apart then when someone else falls who can relate and help that person? So in a way, don’t be afraid to fall apart because it’s a beautiful thing that will help you and others.
I actually just heard this band today...Take the bullets away...went searching for more and ran across this. All I can say is goosebumps. Not too many songs can do that to me.
what i get from this song is that in a way, it is beautiful how we fall apart, and how broken we all are because that is part of life. life is a beautiful thing, and we have to embrace the good and the bad because it makes us who we are. it's a pretty song :)

The concept of the song is to show that we are causing all the pain and grieve for everyone. Wars, terrorist attacks, bombings, everything that can cause destruction is what's causing the world to fall apart. It's unique how we can cause heartbreak for others. But mainly we're fighting against ourselves, no matter how many wars or people we sent out to the army it will all still be the same. That one spark of love, that one sparkle of hope, can bring together many.

Besides what I said above, you'd be surprised who cares. When I'm in a dark place, I could swear not a soul would miss me. Maybe some won't. Maybe most. But there will always be someone. Even if your parents aren't good ones, they would miss you. I would miss you. I would wonder if I could've helped. If I should've said something better. If maybe I met you once or someone in your situation and did nothing... Someone cares even if it's only me. Even if it's only God. I know it would be easy to give up but don't. You have hope even if you can't see it right now. I know your probably tired of waiting for things to get better, but if you leave now things will NEVER get better...hang in there...

This song has made me think inwardly. I am constantly thinking of others now. no longer am i thinking of how i can make it through something alone. I always try to grab someone else's hand through pain. It has erased all people i consider my enemy as well. because yes it is true we make ourselves miserable... An old friend Introduced me this song. Here I am after years, we don't talk anymore but I still think about him every time I listen to it.
I remember being in my room, tears streaming down my face as I desperately searched for something to hold onto because I was drowning. Because I was afraid and I knew I needed to find a reason to stay. And I found this song. I listened to it, then I listened to it again and again and again. I cried my heart out. Because this song gave me hope. It said who cares if you’re broken? You’re still you. A human. And humans are amazing. They are capable of so much hurt and suffering yes. But there is so much good in them too. And the way we all keep struggling. Even when we know it’s useless. That struggle, the way we try to keep moving even as we break apart at the seams, trying slowly piece ourselves back together. That is beautiful. The way we fall apart is beautiful. And maybe, just maybe, it’s worth it.

I had been a fan of the stormlight archives for years but this is the first time I truly knew what that meant. It’s been three years. I have grown a lot. Life still isn’t the best. But it’s okay. Honestly I don't think it's all sarcasm I think We as Human meant that it's beautiful when we fall apart we realize that we can't live this life alone. "We're so imperfect but so worth it because weren't not alone" the reason we are worth it is because Jesus died for us. "The world is dark but all it takes your love to spark to set my heart on fire once again" This world sucks and can get us down but with the love of Christ and an open heart we can go out and spread the gospel in order to bring glory to God and maybe better this world. Just my thoughts don't matter to much but thanks for reading :)
