Glad you found it helpful :)
Nice Vid mate 👍🏻
Thanks a lot! :)
Nice Video!
Thanks so much dude!
Great info Thanks
Glad you found it useful :)
@@airbazoo especially the hover in frt of the lens
Clear, to the point, and a great tutorial for those of us just getting into aerial photography. Props!
Appreciate that! Glad it was helpful :)
lesson one...Audio levels
Nice video, very informative.
Loving my Air 2S. Who is credited with the music?
It's great ! Thanks
The Marilyn Monroe buildings! yeah buddy
Haha yessir!!!
Great video, but a huge tip which I keep seeing in a lot of UA-cam videos. You need to balance you audio much better. The music is so much louder compared to when you are speaking. I have to keep turning my volume up and down in your video and it doesn’t make for a great experience
Thanks a lot! Appreciate the feedback :) check out my latest video on Instagram filters - I think I’ve nailed audio balance now.
Brilliant video can I ask do you use the nd filters when taking pictures.
Hey! If there is a lot of glare or reflections I use the polarizer to help reduce those a tiny bit :) otherwise I don’t.
@@airbazoo most of my flying is over the ocean so plenty glare thanks for reply
Awesome video thank you. I got the FMC and got a ND 4,8,16 and 32 with the pack. Are these provided ones ok or is I better to purchase aftermarket ones?
The strengths you get with the FMC are perfectly fine for most scenarios! Happy flying :)
@@airbazoo awesome cheers for that 👌
You bet 🖤
Waiting for a variable nd filter for Air 2S as the one I was using for my Air 2
Freewell already has it :) check out their site!
Thanks for the review. That looks like Mississauga
You’re very welcome! And it is haha :)
@@airbazoo Do you know where I can get my hands on the Freeweel NDs? It's not on amazon and from their site it's estimating 20 days shipping to Toronto. Or... I can buy the set you currently have :P (I only need the ND64)
Haha the set I have is currently not for sale - but I would be patient if you’re waiting for Amazon since they eventually do get their products on their it’s just a little slow. If their shipping time is too slow check out polar pro OR there’s a store “omni view tech” they might sell them there as well :)
Subarashi!
Till next video
1k subs complete
Thanks so much!
Hi, did you change the polarisation setting on the filter?
Not for this video! As I was okay with the default settings, but I do from time to time :)
Freewell's 2 pack is the best 2-5 and 6-9 stop you don't have to keep bringing your drone back and taking off the ND filter
100% agree!
I agree that ND filters are a great tool for image blur and capturing cinematic footage if used in the correct scenario. But im sorry not the 2 correctly exposed video examples you used in this Video. The 2 you posted are totally incorrect as examples of motion blur. The Drone is going too high and too slow to show any meaningful effect whatsoever of motion blur on these 2 pieces of footage. The 2 that you state are unusable would have been perfectly usable if you would have exposed them at the correct shutter speed , just as crisp and clear as the 2 examples with ND filters. Oh and ND filters DO NOT, in any way whatsoever increase the image quality of your footage. They as you correctly state are just tinted glass to reduce the shutter speed...Nothing more. To give you an example, if your flying fast and low over land or water using an ND filter, maybe tracking a subject ie a Car or Boat, the Subject will not be blurred but the foreground of the land or sea will be giving you that smooth cinematic look. The 2 over exposed clips you posted to be honest are quite misleading steering people towards buying filters they, in everyday general flight, do not need. Oh and just to say, you do NOT need ND filters for stills photography unless you plan on doing long exposure images or time lapse. I say all this as a Professional Photographer not just to bash your post, but as constructive critique. i hope this helps a little.. love your channel and ive subscribed ...FLY SAFE and be well...Billy from over the Pond [UK]
Hey dude totally agree with a lot of points that you made! and i appreciate the constructing criticism. I also want to thank you for taking the time to write out such a detailed comment!
@@airbazoo please please don't think this was just some smart arse on an arrogant rant.. ND Filters are the Dogs testicles when it comes to reducing your shutter speed to get motion blur.. Everyone should have them in there bag... Especially if they are FREEWELL not some cheap Chinese knock off.. Just use them when you need them.. 90% the time with drone flying, you don't but the 10% you do ie flying fast low and tracking.. You absolutely DO... And you will not go wrong with Freewell.. Keep your videos coming.. Love your cool delivery.. Stay safe... Billy Boy
Haha not at all dude! I welcome all criticism and I’m just looking to improve everyday :) I’m very new into my UA-cam journey and take the time to read and think about every comment, I appreciate the feedback for sure as well as your support 🖤
@@airbazoo well your doing great.. Look forward to your next one.. Billy Boy 👍👌🤗
100% true Billy
What's the difference between polar lenses VS ND lenses
Thanks for the video. I just got the Air 2S and was wondering about filters. I would say when you are speaking volume could be increased a bit but the music needs to go way down. Other than that I liked the video. :)
Appreciate the feedback was still figuring out audio levels back then - the issue has been fixed for my latest videos :)
this is exactly what I need, there is nothing superfluous, only interesting and necessary information
Really appreciate that :)
Hey bro is there anyway you can provide an information sheet or video on the shutter speed and the iOS settings for ND filters, still learning the process And how it all works!
Hey man! I actually just made a video on ND filters :) latest video on my channel, hope it’s what you’re looking for!
@@airbazoo Yes I just watched it and I really enjoy your videos. What I’m asking for is like the shutter speed versus your frame did you recording in I always get that confused. Is there a Lico one sheeter that you may have or video that you could break it down so I can snapshot what my shutters should be one of them filming, for example if I’m shooting for K 30 frames per second what should my sugar baby am I all those settings I’m still learning how to use. I feel like I’m not getting it right yet
@@airbazoo By the way I really enjoy watching your videos, keep up the great work
I hear ya! It’s actually quite simple, the shutter speed should be double your frame rate. So:
4K @30 FPS = 1/60
4K @ 60 FPS = 1/120
And so on! I hope this helps :)
@@airbazoo thank you for that, I just feel that the quality doesn’t come out or it’s too bright or I’m getting a lot of over exposure. I live near the beach on the coast where it’s really bright all the time and the sun is always setting but very bright. I haven’t figured that part out yet and it’s so frustrating
What is your ISO set at on these? Do you keep it at 100?
Yup! They’re all at 100 :)
Very informative. Question though…Since the Freewell ND filters are variable, I guess and ND32 can be dialed in or out, correct? I’d love to see a follow up video on variable settings.
I think you should compare between "Use ND filter with 1/60 Shutter" and "Not Use ND filter with auto shutter"
Where can you fly ? My state blocks all public lands.
DJI ND Filter (Fly more Combo) Vs. Freewell ND Filter?
I'm enjoying your vids... just subscribed 👍 the only downside I'm finding is that your music in between the speech is too loud and I'm having to reach for the volume each time...
Thanks so much! Also thanks for the feedback, check out the newer videos I believe I’ve fixed that :)
subscribed. so awsome. just got my air 2s .our place unlike yours doesnt have a flat space even for half a kilometer.. you look indian tho. ✌️
Haha that’s awesome! And thank you - I’m actually Pakistani 😊
Great vid ! but u need to get yourself a good microphone bud!
Would be more informative to show the without footage at automatic shutter speed wouldnt it? I mean, of course its going to be washed out without the filter with the setting thats perfect for the filter... Cheers!
Good video, but bad comparison to fly the drone without the ND filter and leave the shutter speed at 1/60 - not a realistic scenario.
Doesn’t the 2s come with a set of ND filters?
Yes they do and they work fine it’s just free we’ll make a lot more.
I am the better friend.
I am dead LOL
Great videos and tutorials but the audio volume between your voice and music is jarring . It requires lowering the volume when it cuts to music.
This was quite an old
Video :) check out the new ones the audio is wayyy better now haha
@@airbazoo thanks your videos are great and ver informative
Hi. This is Shirley from HolyStone. How do I contact with you?
Dude I like your videos but damn, the music to voice ratio is brutal. I have to turn my speakers way up to hear you talk and then the music comes on and my windows practically blow out.
Appreciate the feedback dude was still figuring out audio levels back then - the issue has been fixed for my latest videos :)
Great video content, horrid audio...while you're speaking it's a good volume, but as soon it switches to the sampled music into the video, IT WAS BLARING LOUD...kinda like 1990's tv commerials at 2am...😆
Appreciate the feedback dude was still figuring out audio levels back then - the issue has been fixed for my latest videos :)
@@airbazoo I like "overly indepth" videos...yours are awesome..Ive watched a bunch.
I watch Flypaths too.
Good info. Your music volume to voice volume balance is terrible.
Dude.. that music… either talk louder or lower the music between cuts.
Haha sure u cant use the footage when u leave it manuell with 1/60 at 30fps 😀 this test should be done with manuel with nd Filters and automatic with no nd Filters.. and pls turn the volume of the music down when u stop talking😅
Please get a mic 🙏
Hi, please work on your volume levels.. you woke my wife up 3times, I had to shut you off.
dude you've got to do a better job editing you sound between B-rolls and speaking volumes!!
Adjust and balance you sound levels. Your introduction is way to loud.
Thanks for the feedback :)
invest in a microphone !
Honestly couldn’t find mire biased content if I tried to look for it, obviously your second shot was going to look overexposed if you leave 1/60. The correct comparison would have been to up the shutter-speed and by god there are ned filters that come with the fly more combo and you don’t even mention them but you call yourself an unbiased reviewer… Come on man
ND Filters make the biggest difference when shooting lower to the ground. At that height motion would be very minor. You should have exposed it correctly to do a comparison..
Buy yourself a better microphone!!
Nice video, but your music is by far too loud (and agressive).
