Fortunately, I was blessed with seeing Matt Walker play drums for The Smashing Pumpkins, also for Billy Corgan's solo Future Embrace tour, and then with Morrissey. His controlled yet explosive energy paired with his ability to "bury the click" and recreate machined rhythms in a live setting has been more than inspirational for me, and I'm certain for countless others as well.
