NL folks: please note that MIT Tech Review is just a magazine. (I am an alum of MIT & also a former employee.) The employees are mostly science writers, ie journalists, though occasionally an MIT researcher (meaning, research staff or faculty) will be asked to write an article for educational or historical reasons. It’s wrong to say that MIT researchers did the study or made the claims. They are journalists just like you! I’m glad you read the quote, which properly attributes the data science research to researchers in Qatar. I hugely respect journalists, and I want to make sure that both academic/commercial researchers and journalists get their proper credit. I think sometimes people see MIT and their minds leap ahead beyond what the facts. We need to stick to the words on the page.

Absolutely as people who chanted those slogans were charged with Sedition along with other charges.

I remember at one point of time in 2004-2005 INDIA TV use to host Qatar based AL JAZEERA news channel's program to show international news specifically arab world's news in India.
And Al JAZEERA used to air news about India on its platform in gulf countries.
But now India tv is just an idiot ,venom spreading channel.
Left it long ago.
Infact i have gave up DTH monthly subscription to buy THE INDIAN EXPRESS newspaper.
Best for intellectual developement and it has enhanced my reading habit as well.

I don't support the Indian mainstream media because they are doing too much but in this video about PFI, she is clearly spreading misinformation and doing propoganda by comparing the (radical PFI) with RSS. Our intelligence and agencies are doing there best to protect the country and our govt and all the agencies as well as people of India know very well what radical chuslamist want to achieve in India. We can't ignore the past 1000 year old history for the sake of “Ganga Jamuna Tahzeeb”. We also can't ignore the 2.5 front war that late Gen. Bipin Rawat said.
