For thirty years, the Alvin Draft/Matic mechanical pencil has been one of the best selling and most reliable pencils in the marketplace. To celebrate its birthday, we have collaborated with artist Mab Graves (www.mabgraves.com). Mab has curated a limited edition series of our Draft/Matics. She chose colors that represent her, pink for the .3mm, mint for the .5mm, and lavender for the .7mm.
The series was produced in an extremely limited quantity and are only available individually carded with beautiful original package art designed by Mab herself.
Mab Graves is a Contemporary Pop-Surrealist artist. Her work is inspired deeply by science, fairy tales, 60's space culture, dinosaurs and classic literature. Mab's work has been shown in galleries around the world.
From architect to artist, this classic has been re-imagined for a new generation. Pencils feature knurled stainless steel finger grips, rotating lead degree windows, and cushion points for comfortable writing control and minimal lead breakage. The 4mm long stainless steel lead sleeve supports the lead and provides drawing accuracy even with thick straightedges. Built-in eraser under cap. Supplied with B Degree lead.

Why aren't these pencils still available???? I have looked everywhere for them!!
They were a limited edition release artist pencil designed in part by Mab Graves. We do have the same pencils available all the time in the same sizes in other colors.
@@Alvindrafting I know, I have them in every size/ color available, I love them, they are the only pencil I use, but I really want the Mab Graves colors and I can't find them anywhere! :(
Totally enjoying them, but I'm kind of disappointed that the 'lavender' one is more like a desaturated pink :/
Is there any way you’d do another run of these? I’m dying to get the set. I’ve been looking everywhere.
They were a limited release and at this moment in time, we do not plan to do another run of them. There is however a limited edition Art Snacks Draftmatic available for purchase at shop.artsnacks.co and of course all sizes are available all the time in their original colors.
