Never judge a book by its cover, same was the case with me, i never liked Twinkle but by watching these series I started actually love her. She is amazing.

Mumbai usually has kam wali bai (cleaning ladies). My family had them too when we were in India. My parents were also worried that when we move to America, there are no cleaning ladies and we'll have to clean ourselves. It's just the culture of Mumbai where every household has cleaning ladies

Twinkle Khanna inspires me!Her husband is the biggest superstar in Bollywood from the last 30 years.There's nothing he can't do.He has launched so many actors,actresses and even directors and given many of them second innings of sorts through his films!Twinkle could have easily opted for a grand comeback by using her husband's massive boxoffice pull and his power in the industry but she didn't do that.After her bollywood career failed she carved her identity in a completely different field and she's right now one of the most sought after author,columnist & designer!A perfect example for everyone too never stop down after failure.These are the examples which we need to give to the younger lot who can't handle failure.

Launched biggest actresses Deepika , Anushka ,Rani , Preity , Shilpa shetty and the list goes on. Name one actress which Akki launched ? Name all time grossers like KKHTH, DDLG, Don,Don2, Veer Zara , Dil to Pagal hai , Swadesh, My name is Khan , Chak De India , Dar , Bazigars and the list of movies goes own that changed the land scape of Hindi cinema. Chennai express 423 crore , Happy New year 390 crore , Dilwale 400 crore , Jawan 1000 plus , Pathan thousand plus crore and the list of blockbusters goes on. The biggest superstars were always three khans . Akshay never gave massive hits like 3 idiots , Lagan , Bajrangi bhaijan and the list goes on. His movies are considered blockbuster it they make 150 or 200 crore for Khan's those r flops and khans have already given 200s , 100s 10 years ago and now Akki can't even cross those records . Bajrangi bhaijan 950 crore , Dangal 2200 then U have Pathan 1060 crore , Jawan 1160 crore akki is not even rnbir level in stardom so dont call him the biggest star.

This was so adorable. I loved that Twinkle asked very specific questions in a respectful way and Kajol answered them simply, genuinely and honestly. The advice that she gave about teens and anger are things I concur with . I’m about their age / an older mom with 2 children below the age of 10. Watching this interview made me wish I had friends like these two awesome women :) thanks for doing this Twinkle and Kajol!

I studied in an all girls school but we interacted with boys at interschool events. For me, schooling with girls meant that nobody compared us with boys or told us of different rules that apply to 'them' vs 'us'. We were brought up with strong female leaders as our inspiration---the school was named after a queen. When we went for extra classes outside school, boys would try to dominate the back benches but WE were the backbenchers at our own school so we'd chase them away---came up with all sorts of strategies to make sure we always got the back benches!!! To this date, whenever someone tells me "You musn't do it because that's a man's job" my immediate response is "Says who exactly?" Nobody told us that growing up.

@@jyotiradityaghosh4542 Even when everybody is allowed to do everything (which is the case nowadays) a clear demarcation (predominantly) of job preference appears in a population… I am quoting Dr Jordan Peterson’s example of Scandinavian countries here. You can look up for more details. In his talks he has mentioned so many times.
@@Anu4343 exactly but the preferences are their own, by choosing to do something what is most likely to be done by the other gender, you are not trying to be like them, you just want to be part of the job...irrespective of the preferences ,the job is a job, not a man's job or a woman's until and unless it mentions gender as the criteria..
Past few days I've been binge watching this series and i have to say it's so good. Like I've never been so interested in listening peoples conversation but this whole series is so amazing that i can't stop myself.

I could relate to kajol as she says about whats life all about..goals and aims... How life happens...not knowing what tomorrow may bring my way.. exactly..so i felt very depressed thinking...i being one of the toppera in my educational life... Settles as a house wife..raising kid at home..but i find this way of life ...satisfying. Happy...and okay..i dont find anything missing.... But when i meet some friends of mine who werent that intelligent ...doing jobs...and living a busy life...and then they ask me wondering..how you being a topper can settle like this doing no job... What kajol said gave me strength. That talent is onething...life just happens...

Kajol & Twinkle ... they had star Moms in Tanuja & Dimple Kapadia, not sure if they did any movie together. But I wish Kajol & Twinkle were cast in some movie during their prime. Ajay & Akshay were cast in Suhaag first time with few others to follow. They did work with opposite partners in Yeh Dillagi & Jaan, but 4 of them together similar to Sholay (Dharmendra Hema Malini & Amitabh Jaya Bachchan) would have been memorable. Alas none of the film makers thought like that ! Nevertheless was a good thought to at least get them here together ❤ Kudos & Thanks to this channel 👍👌🏻

Imagine if twinkle was to play Rani's role in Kuch Kuch hota hai. It definitely would have worked. I think if twinkle was paired with kajol in films then it would have definitely worked and would have given twinkle some big hits and could have taken her career in the way she wanted.

Ajay ko bhi samajhna chahiye, but anyway...that's his problem. Point is, I like her interviews when she is not with her husband. With him, she is laughing at his lame jokes or being the caricature of a possessive wife, but without him, she is a talented actress and a thinking human being.
